“What’s going on here?” Ethan frowned.
As he withdrew his hand, the glow of the skeleton vanished instantly.
Ethan gestured for Salena Carpenter to touch it as well.
Salena stepped forward, raising her small hand and placing it on the skeleton, yet it showed no reaction whatsoever.
“Weird.” Ethan looked baffled.
“Could it be that this skeleton has so sort of connection to ?”
Salena, her big eyes fixed on Ethan, suggested, “Could it be because you share the sa constitution?”
“The sa constitution?” His attention caught, Ethan hastily moved towards the skeleton, attempting to grip its arm with strength.
“Craaack!”
Unfortunately, under Ethan’s force, the skeleton snapped instantly.
“It seems not.” Ethan shook his head.
The skeleton didn’t show any signs of energy fluctuations, presumably decomposed over many years.
Now that Ethan had easily crushed it, it was clear this skeleton was neither a chaotic body nor possessing any remarkable cultivation. Otherwise, the bones would have been incredibly robust.
Ethan picked up the bone fragnts from the ground. After breaking, they no longer emitted the peculiar glow.
At this mont, Ethan didn’t know the origin of this skeleton, but he had an intuition: this skeleton was extraordinary, likely hiding a secret.
After contemplating for a while, Ethan stored the remaining skeleton fragnts in his Spatial Magic Artifact.
“Never mind about these bones for now, let’s search for food.” Salena mumbled.
The two of them didn’t find anything in their search of the room.
With no other option, they left and went to the woods.
Ethan caught so fish from the river, while Salena hunted a few beasts in the woods.
As the night deepened, Ethan and Salena set up a fire, and soon the mouthwatering sll of roasting at wafted into the air.
Salena tore off a large beast’s leg, devouring it voraciously.
Ethan was not idle either. Even though he could sustain his nourishnt without eating, the desire for good food was still there.
Seeing Ethan and Salena’s zealous eating, the third princess, who was tied up not far away, couldn’t help but swallow hard.
She stared longingly at the at in Ethan’s hand while drooling almost uncontrollably.
Ethan glanced at her and then tore off a piece of at and tossed it to the princess.
However, the princess’s body was bound and she couldn’t use her hands to eat.
Observing this, Ethan rose and walked towards the princess.
Salena said resentfully, “Why bother? Just let her starve. She won’t die.”
Ethan ignored her. He untied the princess and said, “I’ll tie you back up after you finish eating. Don’t think about escaping, got it?”
The princess hurriedly nodded, picked up the piece of at from the ground, and began to devour it hungrily.
The princess’s appetite was imnse, almost at par with Salena’s.
Both of them ate up all the food in no ti, and it seed like they were still not satiated.
“Is there any more?” The princess looked at Ethan eagerly.
“Bloody hell! I haven’t had enough!” Salena said nacingly.
The princess seed quite afraid of Salena. She subconsciously retreated a few steps and didn’t dare to look directly at her.
Ethan was silent for a mont before saying, “You watch her. I’ll find sothing else to eat.”
Salena said sowhat angrily, “You’re spoiling her! Why bother with her?”
Ethan smiled and said, “Weren’t you not full either? Alright, I’ll be right back.”
After that, Ethan walked towards the woods.
It was an incredibly vast forest, but there weren’t as many beasts as Ethan had expected. He walked for a while and didn’t spot a single beast.
“Strange, how can such a forest be devoid of beasts?” Ethan wondered to himself.
He released his divine sense, covering most of the forest, and was surprised to find that although the forest seed lush, its vitality was extrely weak.
This was completely unreasonable in this Golden Age.
“Strange, could sothing be neutralizing the qi in this place?” Ethan thought.
At that mont, Ethan rembered the seated skeleton in the house, which made him increasingly puzzled.
Even birds know to migrate. Why would the skeleton die here because of cultivation? Even a fool would know to switch places if this area wasn’t conducive to enlightennt.
“Could it be that the skeleton was guarding sothing while it was alive?” Ethan beca more suspicious.

But the forest seed normal, except for the slightly dark leaves of the trees.
“Strange.” Ethan stroked his chin, his perplexity increasing.
Just as he was about to give up, he discovered sothing strange!
The entire forest seed cunningly divided into two parts. The left side housed a dense forest, while the right was barren!
A winding river divided the forest into two halves in the middle.
“Hm? This…” The more Ethan looked, the more familiar it seed.
The construct of the entire forest looked sowhat like a Tai Chi Diagram! Even though the resemblance was vague, one could still faintly discern the outline.
“This place is indeed unusual.” Ethan stated gravely.
He rubbed his chin as though deep in thought.
After a while, Ethan suddenly had an epiphany!
He jumped down hastily, rushing towards the house!
Reaching the spot where the house was located, Ethan jumped up once again to view it from above.
“This location… it seems to be where the eye of the Tai Chi fish is!” Ethan exclaid in surprise!
The Tai Chi Diagram features two fish eyes, the Yin and Yang Fish, and the house was precisely located at the fish’s eye!
The entire forest appeared deliberately altered, so intricately that unless one looked closely, they wouldn’t discern the Tai Chi Diagram outline, let alone the overview of the forest!
“So it seems… soone has deliberately transford the landscape to hide the Tai Chi Diagram structure of this place.” Ethan said slowly.
“So, that skeleton was trying to achieve enlightennt at the fish’s eye position, but for so unknown reason, it ended up dying in the room.”
Ethan returned to the ground, pacing and pondering simultaneously.
“If my guess is correct, there should be another house in the opposite direction of this one!” Ethan exclaid, slapping his forehead!
The Yin and Yang fish eyes of the Tai Chi Diagram stand symtrically. If there’s a house found here, then there must be another one in the symtrical direction!
