He had been in the Holy Region for quite so ti, but this was the first ti he had seen such a lively place.
Here, although there were still people peddling herbs, divine treasures, and other items, most of the stalls were for eating, drinking, and having fun.
Standing here, Ethan couldn’t help but think of the night markets on Earth, as there were so similarities.
“What kind of place is this? Why have I never heard of it before?” Ethan exclaid in surprise.
Emily Taylor mysteriously said, “This is a market, and most of the people who co here to play are people with extrely low cultivation levels. I’m not afraid of running into people I know.”
Ethan laughed and said, “It seems you’ve been here before, huh?”
“To be honest, I’ve sneaked out three tis, but the previous tis it was just alone,” Emily replied.
Upon hearing this, Ethan couldn’t help but feel sorry for her.
The Taylor family must have been treating Emily as their next-generation Holy Lord and cultivating her, with hardly any freedom in her daily life.
Emily quickly led Ethan to a small stall.

The stall owner quickly brought over two servings of atballs.

Ethan was taken aback.

He looked at Emily with astonishnt and incomprehension in his eyes.
Emily whispered an explanation: “It’s just a random na I made up. Hurry up and eat. These atballs are made from the at of wild animals in the mountains, and they taste delicious!”
After trying one of the atballs, Ethan had to admit that the taste was indeed good.
Emily ate five portions in a row, and just as she was about to reach for the sixth, she quickly withdrew her hand.
“What’s wrong?” Ethan asked.
“I have to save so room for other things to eat,” Emily murmured.
After saying this, she took out so money and placed it on the table before pulling Ethan towards the next stall.
This place was like a food street, with endless delicacies available. However, the food here provided no benefits to one’s cultivation, and so even contained ingredients harmful to cultivation in order to improve the taste.
Fortunately, the effects of the food were minimal for cultivators at the levels of Ethan and Emily, so both of them weren’t worried.
“Do you see that small tavern over there? It’s my favorite place to go,” Emily said, pulling Ethan along while pointing at a small tavern nearby.
The small tavern was quite quiet, not too crowded, and was situated beside a heavenly water source. It was said that the tavern’s alcohol was made from the heavenly water.
Emily led Ethan into the tavern and they sat down. She then ordered two drinks.

Ethan tasted the alcohol and found that its flavor was quite strange, nowhere near as good as the Jade Dew wines from the Great Families or sects.
However, Emily seed to enjoy the taste, and after drinking three cups, her cheeks flushed slightly pink.
Under the influence of alcohol, Emily’s face took on a touch of allure.
“How is it? Tastes good, right?” Emily asked with a smile.
Ethan quickly nodded and said, “I like it.”
“From now on, let’s make a pact to et here whenever we have ti, alright?” Emily’s voice carried a hint of pleading.
This made Ethan feel rather uncomfortable. He hesitated for a mont before saying, “Alright, as long as you have ti, I can co here anyti to et you.”
“Hehe.” Emily laughed, leaning on Ethan’s shoulder with a smile of happiness on her face.
After leaving the small tavern, Emily took Ethan clothes shopping.
Although the materials of the clothes were poor, the craftsmanship was quite exquisite.
Ethan wasn’t sure if it was Emily’s beauty that made the clothes seem more elegant, or if the clothes themselves were simply elegant and refined. Regardless, every outfit left him in awe.
Unfortunately, Emily couldn’t bring these clothes back with her and could only wear them for a brief mont.
At this ti, Liam Garrett had already rushed back to Keelbour Mountain.
The first thing he did upon returning to Keelbour Mountain was to search for Emily.
But unfortunately, Liam searched the entire Keelbour Mountain without finding a trace of Emily.
Nobody on Keelbour Mountain had seen her.
If it wasn’t for Ethan’s arrival on Keelbour Mountain, Liam wouldn’t have thought too much about it, but now he couldn’t help but feel anxious.
He stood at the edge of a cliff, slowly spreading his hands apart. From his brow, a ray of light radiated out in an instant.
The light enveloped his body and then spread outwards.
Upon closer inspection, one could see nurous mysterious characters within the light, as if they possessed incredible power.
After a while, a scene appeared in Liam’s mind.
This scene depicted Emily leading Ethan away from Keelbour Mountain!
Liam was actually deducing the past! What a terrifying technique, beyond imagination!
As Liam continued to watch, his expression grew increasingly grim.
Soon, he opened his eyes with an ashen expression, and a chilling aura emanated from his body.
At this point, Ethan and Emily were completely unaware, as they had been exploring the entire market together, engaging in street poetry battles, watching performances under eaves, and admiring flowers on a boat.
Emily leaned on Ethan’s shoulder, speaking softly about the past. They refrained from ntioning anything related to cultivation.
However, at that mont, Emily’s eyebrows suddenly furrowed.
She hurriedly stood up and exclaid, “Soone’s coming.”
“Huh? Soone’s coming?” Ethan asked, puzzled.
Emily looked in a certain direction.
The Void in that direction was trembling, as if it were about to burst!
In no ti, the Void Gate opened, and Liam Garrett appeared in the night market’s sky with over ten people!
This scene shocked everyone in the night market. When they saw the character “Taylor” on Liam’s robe, their astonishnt intensified.
“It’s soone from the Taylor family! Why would they be here?”
“Did soone offend the Taylor family or sothing?”
The entire night market was suddenly filled with fear, and the previous cheerful atmosphere disappeared.
Liam stood in the sky, his gaze fixed on Emily. He then bowed and shouted, “Commander Liam has been ordered to bring the Holy Woman of the Taylor family ho.”
This voice echoed through every corner of the night market, as if purposely revealing Emily’s identity to everyone.
