Chapter 1903: Chapter 1903: The Legend of the Frostmoon Palace Chapter 1903: Chapter 1903: The Legend of the Frostmoon Palace The scenery of the Frostmoon Palace is even more exquisite and celestial in the night.

In the distance, a secluded stream is gently flowing, its murmurs akin to soothing lodies.

Ethan Smith made his way to the bridge, where he faintly made out an alluring silhouette leaning against the railings in the darkness.

“Mr. Smith, you’re not asleep yet?”

Before Ethan could utter a word, the Williams Saintess initiated the conversation.

Ethan replied with surprise, “Saintess Williams? Why are you standing here so late?”

Saintess Williams chuckled, “Sa as you, unable to sleep.”

Ethan moved to stand next to her.

Like phantoms in the night, the two seed sowhat lonely.

“Saintess Williams, I have so questions. I hope you can pardon if they offend,” said Ethan, bowing slightly.

Saintess Williams replied with a laugh, “Shall we chat while we walk?”

“Yes,” agreed Ethan.

And so, under the guidance of Saintess Williams, they headed towards the colossal Osmanthus tree.

Their pace was not fast, rather, it was sowhat slow.

“Saintess Williams, how old is that Osmanthus tree?” Ethan inquired as he gazed at the far-off hundred-foot tall tree.

Saintess Williams didn’t seem surprised by his question. It seed everyone who visited the Frostmoon Palace was interested in this Osmanthus tree.

“This was left by my ancestor’s grandmother. It’s over five thousand years old. It has witnessed the rise and fall of countless generations,” said Saintess Williams.

Ethan inquired solemnly, “I hope you don’t mind asking, was your grandmother’s na…Monroe?”

“No,” replied Saintess Williams, shaking her head.

Upon hearing this, Ethan let out a sigh of relief.

It seed all of it was just a coincidence.

“However, the na Monroe is in her na. In those days, she was also referred to as Immortal Monroe.”

However, these subsequent words from Saintess Williams, made Ethan’s eyes widen in shock!

“This is absolutely not a coincidence!” Ethan exclaid in his heart.

“What’s wrong? Why is it that you asked these questions, Mr. Smith?” Saintess questioned.

Ignoring her question, Ethan continued, “Saintess Williams, who… who was your grandmother’s father?”

Saintess Williams’s face changed slightly at this topic.

Upon noticing this, Ethan imdiately waved his hand and changed his tune, “If it’s inappropriate, please disregard what I said.”

Saintess Williams chuckled, “There’s nothing inconvenient about it. It just feels strange to ntion the na Ancient Emperor in the Frostmoon Palace.”

Ancient Emperor?

Ethan’s expression slightly shifted.

Apparently, the father of Immortal Monroe is indeed the source of the Williams bloodline!

“Why is Mr. Smith so interested in my family’s past?” Saintess Williams asked in surprise.

Ethan shook his head and said, “This is my first ti visiting the aristocratic families, so I’m naturally curious.”

Saintess Williams wasn’t doubtful. She just laughed lightly, “We are rely lucky to be blessed by our ancestors.”

Ethan dared not inquire further. There were too many legends about the Immortal Emperor and their existence was extrely mystical. Despite them having long fallen, they still instilled fear in people.

“Mr. Smith, I also have a few questions to ask you.” Suddenly, Saintess Williams spoke.

Ethan slightly nodded his head, signaling for her to continue.

Saintess Williams asked with a smile, “Why did you want to join the Taylor family?”

Ethan’s body stiffened slightly. He replied uneasily, “I… am quite curious about the Taylor family.”

“Just out of curiosity?” Saintess Williams raised her eyebrows, a mysterious light dancing in her beautiful eyes that made one dare not look directly, afraid of being seen through at a glance.

Ethan lowered his head and replied, “Yes, just out of curiosity.”

“Really? Or is it because you’re after the bloodline of the Taylor saintess?” Saintess Williams teased with a smirk.

Upon hearing this, Ethan’s heart was thrown into turmoil!

Even though he tried to resist it, his expression couldn’t help but change!

“Of course not.” Ethan took a deep breath, trying to remain calm.

Saintess Williams smiled without saying anything. She looked at the Osmanthus tree in the distance and said, “It’s said that the complete bloodline of the Taylor family and your chaotic body are a perfect match. If engaged in dual cultivation, the benefit is beyond imagination. I thought Mr. Smith was aiming for this bloodline.”

Ethan was taken aback.

He didn’t expect Saintess Williams to know about Emily’s bloodline. It seed this matter was no longer a secret in the Holy Region.

“Of course not, I wouldn’t dare to overstep with the Taylor Saintess,” lied Ethan.

Saintess Williams looked at Ethan and said with a smirk, “Perhaps you’re not after Emily’s bloodline after all, but will the Taylor family believe you? Will Kole Morton believe you? Once you set foot in the Taylor family, wouldn’t it be equivalent to entering a tiger’s den?”

At the reminder from Saintess Williams, Ethan had a sudden mont of realization.

He furrowed his brows, then looked at Saintess Williams, and asked, “It seems you are right… What should I do then?”

Saintess Williams asked with a smile, “Are you absolutely certain to go?”

“Absolutely,” Ethan nodded.

Saintess Williams suggested with a laugh, “In that case, you should first utilize a secret technique to mask your aura, to avoid detection.”

“A secret technique…” Ethan muttered to himself.

“Saintess Williams, do you happen to have such a secret technique?” Ethan ventured.

Saintess Williams shook her head, “As people of the Williams family, we do not need any technique to conceal our aura.”

This left Ethan in a quandary.

It seed he could only return and try to find one from his mories.

“However… such a technique isn’t rare. If you want it, it shouldn’t be too difficult to find.” said Saintess Williams.

“In the grandeur of the Central Province, there’s nothing you can’t find.”

Upon hearing that, Ethan was relieved.

While aura-masking techniques are not uncommon, Ethan couldn’t simply choose just any technique to comprehend.

After all, he was heading for the Taylor family and if his disguise were to be seen through, the trouble would be even greater.

“Of course, I recomnd that you conceal your face as well to avoid being recognized,” continued Saintess Williams.

Ethan nodded slightly and thanked her, “I appreciate the reminder, Saintess Williams.”

Changing one’s appearance was not a difficult task. Even back when he was on Earth, Evelyn Norton could do it, let alone in the Holy Region.

As they spoke, they had already reached the foot of the Osmanthus tree.

Standing under the tree, Ethan experienced a bizarre sensation. It seed as if being under this tree, one could sense its countless vicissitudes of life.

Looking around, not far from the Osmanthus tree, there were a number of other radiant trees and flowers.

These trees and flowers were exceptionally remarkable, shimring with mysterious colors in the dark.

Saintess Williams waved her hand, lightly pointing at a patch of space, and a beam of light fell onto it.

“Do you think this would be a good spot for the seed of the Bodhi ancient tree?” Saintess Williams enquired with a playful grin.
