Chapter 1841: Chapter 1841: Utilizing the Power of Demon-slaying Peak Chapter 1841: Chapter 1841: Utilizing the Power of Demon-slaying Peak After saying that, Frederick Cohen burst into tears, his face full of pain and sobs unstoppable.
Ethan Smith furrowed his brows, and gently patted Frederick’s shoulder. “Who is it?” he asked.
Frederick sobbed, “Do you still rember Ricardo Bowman?”
“Ricardo Bowman?” Ethan was taken aback, recalling the elegantly dressed young man from the aristocratic family of the Capital City.
Though renowned in Capital City, Ricardo was honest and treated people courteously, never making enemies.
Back then, Ricardo and Darnell Bradley were a famous duo in Capital City, and had helped Ethan quite a bit.
“So it’s him?” Ethan was montarily at a loss for words.
“Yes, it’s Ricardo Bowman.” Frederick’s tears flowed even more fiercely.
The iron-willed man was now crying like a child.
“I couldn’t protect him, I wasn’t strong enough to save him, and he offended an aristocratic family in the Crimson Moon Continent. But I’m no match for them…” Frederick spoke, his voice trembling.
At this point, Frederick clenched his fists, his face full of grief and anger. “So close, it was so close. If only I had a little more chance, I could have saved Ricardo… ”
Ethan’s heart was filled with mixed emotions; the passing of old friends was always hard to let go.
Apart from Ricardo, who could guarantee that there weren’t others who have perished in the Holy Region?
For a mont, Ethan was filled with countless emotions, mixed with a touch of sadness.
“Enough, stop thinking about it. It’s not your fault… In the future, we’ll find everyone together.” Ethan patted Frederick’s shoulder again and whispered words of comfort.
Frederick kept rambling, either because he was drunk or filled with guilt, by Ethan’s side, looking miserable.
After an unknown amount of ti, Frederick finally fell asleep, his breathing heavy and unsteady.
Watching Frederick’s sleeping face, Ethan’s heart was flooded with countless thoughts.
The Holy Region was an extrely dangerous place. Over the years, no one knew if their old friends were still alive and what experiences they had gone through.
Ethan sat next to Frederick, keeping him company in silence.
He was very clear that he should maintain his rationality at all tis. Only great strength could preserve and protect those around him.
During Frederick’s sleep, Ethan carefully planned how to rescue Salena Carpenter.
Ethan had complex feelings toward Salena, and he absolutely couldn’t let her co to any harm.
This ti, his target wasn’t just the small Guinevere Lee but the entire Tenny family.
Either don’t take action, or uproot the Tenny family altogether!
They would have to pay in blood for the wrongs they have done!
Ethan stayed awake the whole night.
Sitting there, his face serious, countless thoughts flashed through his mind.
When dawn broke the next day, Frederick finally woke up.
Rubbing his head, he looked at Ethan, and grinned sheepishly. “Ethan, I don’t rember anything from last night, I…”
“Don’t worry about it.” Ethan interrupted Frederick.
Then, Ethan looked at Frederick and said solemnly, “I need to save soone.”
“Save? Who?” Frederick asked, puzzled.
Ethan replied coldly, “A very important person, soone very important to .”
“Well, let’s not waste ti. Let’s get going right now.” Frederick didn’t hesitate and stood up to leave.
Ethan shook his head, “We need to plan carefully. When we take action, we must be 100% successful.”
Frederick quickly nodded, “You tell what to do, and we’ll do it!”
“First, accompany to visit the various cave abodes of Demon-slaying Peak. Tell them I want to borrow their points and promise to return them.” Ethan instructed.
Hearing this, Frederick waved his hand and said, “This is such a simple task. I can call them all together right now.”
Ethan paused, then frowned, “Is that really a good idea?”
“There’s nothing wrong with it. I’ll go now and call each of them. You wait here!” Frederick patted his chest confidently.
Having said that, Frederick turned to leave.
At this mont, Ethan grabbed Frederick’s arm.
He took out a loudspeaker and handed it to Frederick, saying, “Use this instead. No need to go to each one.”
Ethan then explained to Frederick how to use the loudspeaker.
Frederick took the loudspeaker, and following Ethan’s instructions, shouted into it.
His way of calling people was simple and crude, making Ethan feel embarrassed.
“Will this work?” Ethan asked awkwardly.
Frederick laughed, “What’s wrong with it? People from Demon-slaying Peak respect strength, and they still respect quite a bit.”
Ethan thought about it and found it reasonable. With Frederick’s talent, he could probably rank among the top three in Demon-slaying Peak.
About half an hour later, various people began to arrive at Frederick’s cave abode.
It seed their relationship with Frederick was very good, as everyone was joking around with him.
Ironically, Ethan, who had arrived earlier, seed to be more of a stranger. Although they greeted him, they were quite unfamiliar.
Of course, Ethan didn’t care. He sat to one side, quietly waiting for everyone to arrive, his face unreadable.
As more and more people arrived, Ethan’s heart relaxed a bit.
About an hour later, most of the people from Demon-slaying Peak had gathered.
Although the peak master and Ninth Cloud didn’t appear, given their status, they couldn’t be easily summoned.
“Ethan, long ti no see.” At that mont, Willa approached from a distance.
Ethan smiled and said, “Long ti no see.”
“You’ve entered the Returning to the Void stage?” Willa scanned Ethan and exclaid in surprise.
Ethan simply nodded, saying, “By luck.”
“Such speed is truly enviable,” Willa sighed.
Ethan let out a slight sigh. “Willa, let’s skip the formalities.”
Willa laughed heartily, and then turned serious. “I suppose you’ve heard about Salena Carpenter’s situation.”
Upon ntioning Salena, Ethan’s face instantly turned cold.
He said grimly, “Yes, I’ve gathered everyone here for Salena’s sake.”
As though anticipating his response, Willa patted Ethan’s shoulder and said, “If you need any help, just say the word.”
“Thank you.” Ethan bowed slightly, expressing his gratitude.
“Frederick, what’s the matter?” soone inquired.
Frederick pulled Ethan to his side, grinning. “It’s Ethan who needs you.”
All eyes turned to Ethan.
Soone took the initiative to ask, “Ethan, have you called us for Salena Carpenter’s situation?”
