Chapter 1467: Chapter 1467: Person from the North Plain? Chapter 1467: Chapter 1467: Person from the North Plain? Ever since the last incident, Salena Carpenter had practically beco the First Elder’s nightmare.

At this mont, seeing Salena, the First Elder instinctively took two steps back. All the words he wanted to say were stuck in his throat, and he couldn’t utter a single word.

Hurriedly, he retracted his Long Halberd, turned around, and left without saying a word.

Salena snorted, “What kind of thing struts around showing off?”

Ethan Smith looked at Salena and chuckled, “You’re always showing up right on ti.”

Salena rolled her eyes, “I told you not to go to the Cloud Sect, but you didn’t listen. So? You couldn’t get anything done, right?”

Ethan let out a bitter laugh and said, “I still had a backup plan I didn’t use. Otherwise…”

“Don’t say another word!” Salena quickly blocked Ethan’s mouth with her small hand.

She glanced around and said, “Whatever treasures you have, do not expose them, alright? Otherwise, it’s easy to bring trouble, especially with tensions between North Plain and the Southern Province so high.”

Ethan nodded in agreent. It was precisely for this reason that he had refrained from using the divine picture.

After all, it belonged to the masked woman. Even in the Holy Region, it would undoubtedly spark envy.

“By the way, do you know the the of tonight’s banquet?” Ethan asked.

Salena propped her chin on her hand and murmured, “If my guess is correct, it’s likely related to North Plain Affairs. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have invited Ken Middleton.”

“North Plain Affairs?” Ethan’s brows furrowed slightly.

Could it really be that the conflict between North Plain and the Southern Province had escalated to this extent?

*Is North Plain truly that terrifying?* Ethan turned to Salena and asked.

Salena nodded slightly and replied, “North Plain was originally a place of exile. Because it is bitterly cold and resource-scarce, the most heinous criminals across the domains were sent there.”

“Over the years, they branched out and dominated North Plain. As a result, most people from there are extrely ruthless.”

Ethan suddenly understood. *No wonder. Survival under adversity is nearly impossible. But once soone endures and thrives, they beco truly formidable.*

*Their strength and temperant surpass what ordinary people can even compare to.*

“Ugh, Eternal City really has too much ti on its hands. Cloud Sect hasn’t even spoken up, yet he’s jumping in to take the lead.” Salena muttered.

Ethan nodded along and added, “Yeah, could it be that Eternal City is trying to take this opportunity to weaken the Cloud Sect’s power?”

“That’s highly possible!” Salena’s eyes lit up as though a sudden realization had dawned on her.

“Anyway, compared to Cloud Sect, I dislike Eternal City even more. Cloud Sect is at least honest in its wickedness; Eternal City is just hypocritical.” Salena muttered under her breath.

Ethan covered Salena’s mouth and whispered, “You can’t say such things carelessly. After all, we’re in Eternal City.”

“Who cares?” Salena snorted lightly.

Gradually, more people began arriving at the scene. In the blink of an eye, over a hundred individuals had gathered within Asgard.

Ethan quickly cast his divine sense over Urban Dittman.

In the crowd, Urban was toasting and exchanging pleasantries, looking smug and self-satisfied.

“What, you have a grudge against that guy?” Salena imdiately felt the chill emanating from Ethan.

Ethan nodded and said, “He used Cloud Sect to kill the Hunter’s team leader and took over as team leader himself.”

“The forr team leader of the Hunter organization was kind to , so I have to kill him, no matter what.”

Salena crinkled her nose and said, “I heard he has a Saint’s artifact. That thing isn’t sothing to ss with—even I wouldn’t dare touch it.”

Ethan sighed and said, “If it weren’t for that Saint’s artifact in his possession, I would’ve already taken him out! I have to find a way to get my hands on that Saint’s artifact.”

Just as they were speaking, soone else entered from outside.

A young man clad in a long robe and exuding charisma strode in.

He wore a faint smile, but there was also a casualness about his deanor.

“Gregory Hum!” At the sight of the young man, Salena waved at him.

Gregory heard Salena’s voice and walked over with a grin.

“Salena, I heard you broke through recently. So, did you step into the Reversion Void Stage?” Gregory asked with a playful smile.

“Screw you! Do you think breaking into the Reversion Void Stage is that easy?” Salena rolled her eyes.

Gregory patted his chest, half-jokingly and half-seriously, “That’s a relief. I thought you’d surpassed again.”

With that, Gregory’s gaze fell on Ethan.

“You must be Ethan Smith,” Gregory said with a smile.

Ethan quickly cupped his hands and said, “It’s an honor to et Senior Gregory.”

“Senior doesn’t suit .” Gregory shook his head, “Just call Gregory.”

Ethan awkwardly grinned. Though Gregory said so, Ethan couldn’t bring himself to call him by na.

Monts later, Eric Mitchell and Alf Dillon arrived as well.

The group known as the three lunatics and three extres, except for Monk Theo Miller, had already gathered.

anwhile, Ken Middleton, the lone figure of Legendary, had yet to arrive.

Eric and Alf seed very close, their movents practically synchronized. Though they didn’t speak much, their faces betrayed their ferocious intent.

Ethan joked, “Aren’t you part of the sa group as Eric Mitchell and Alf Dillon? Why don’t they hang out with you?”

“Pah! Who knows which fool ca up with that nickna? Damn it, they’re not lunatics—I refuse the title!” Salena snapped, clearly irritated.

Gregory, standing nearby, couldn’t help letting out a hearty laugh.

“What are you laughing at? Why do you get to be called one of the three extres while I’m labeled a lunatic? It’s not fair!” Salena growled, her cheeks puffing with anger.

Gregory teased, “These titles are just superficial. If you want mine, you’re welco to take it.”

“I don’t want it, hmph.” Salena muttered.

The gathering had grown to over a hundred prominent figures from the Southern Province.

As more guests arrived, Eternal finally stood up.

He swept his gaze over the crowd and cupped his hands, saying, “Thank you for honoring Eternal City with your presence today. I deeply appreciate it.”

“If you’ve got sothing to say, just say it. Don’t beat around the bush,” Salena quipped from the audience.

Eternal glanced at Salena and smiled, “Salena, you’re still impatient as ever.”

Then, he turned to the crowd and said calmly, “Since that’s the case, I’ll get straight to the point.”

After speaking, Eternal took a step back. The Void in front of him suddenly rippled, and an elder with an icy expression erged from the gateway.

Seeing this man, the crowd couldn’t help but exchange confused looks.

Such an unfamiliar face—why had they never seen him before?

“This is Egbert Briggs, Mr. Briggs from North Plain,” Eternal explained.

“What? From North Plain?”

“Why is soone from North Plain in Eternal City?”

“They dare appear so openly in the Southern Province?”

“What’s Eternal’s ga here?”

The audience erupted in whispers, the atmosphere buzzing with speculation.

Salena frowned and muttered, “I suspected this might involve North Plain, but I didn’t expect soone from there to actually show up.”
