Chapter 46: Zoe: I can do it anyti, I’ll go ho with you. Chapter 46: Zoe: I can do it anyti, I’ll go ho with you. However, the card inside the rose was typewritten, not handwritten. Zoe Bell glanced at William Hale out of the corner of her eye. He sat upright, possibly thinking the card was just randomly placed by soone at the florist.
“Where would you like to go next?” William Hale asked Zoe Bell.
“I’m good with anything.”
“Let’s go to the movies. I saw a recomndation online for a cinema with a starry sky ceiling. It has good reviews,” Wyatt Hale suggested.
Before they set off, Zoe Bell finally spoke up about Ruben Fletcher’s situation, “How was it handled?”
“I’ve talked to him. He has acknowledged his mistakes and deeply reflected on them, promising that he will not harass you anymore,” William said in a cool, indifferent tone.
It sounded casual…
Almost as if he was evaluating whether the dinner suited his taste tonight.
“Is it really that simple?” Zoe Bell asked skeptically. “He doesn’t seem like soone who is easy to deal with.”
“So things, n understand better among themselves and can resolve more easily.”
Zoe Bell nodded in agreent.
If Mr. Hale said it had been taken care of, it surely had been.
Wyatt Hale clicked his tongue:
Having talked, ant they had fought;
Recognizing his mistakes, ant he had thoroughly beaten the scum into submission, begging for rcy;
Deeply reflecting and making promises, ant the threats were effective.
He understood his brother’s thods in handling such trash all too well.
After all, when he was in school, he had been threatened by a group of thugs who thought he was born by a stepmother and not favored in the Hale family. They wanted him to “lend” them so spending money.
The outco…
A cousin from his uncle’s family ca with a gang the very night and cornered those thugs, giving them a beating.
They even collected so evidence of the thugs bullying classmates and fighting, and sent them straight to the juvenile detention center!
When the news reached Grandpa, his cousin was scolded and told that he should consult with the elders at ho first about such issues.
His elder brother stepped forward.
Wyatt Hale still rembered his words.
He said, “I directed the whole thing.”
“After all, Wyatt is a Hale; he is my brother.”
At the ti, Wyatt Hale was moved to tears, feeling that his elder brother truly loved him.
Then he added, “It would be quite embarrassing if others knew my brother was bullied.”
“…”
Anyway, his brother was not a good person.
However, seeing that his sister-in-law had a very good impression of his elder brother, Wyatt Hale dared not burst her bubble.

Elsewhere
When Ruben Fletcher called 120, he was taken to the hospital where the nurse, seeing his swollen, red face clearly beaten, wanted to call the police. He claid he had accidentally fallen in the bathroom.
He indeed dared not see the police.
The Fletcher Family and Mina Bell arrived one after another. Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher, seeing their son’s swollen face, teared up in distress.
“Which bastard did this, how could they beat you up like this?” Mrs. Fletcher cried desperately.
“He deserves it, always ssing around. Greenland is not like our hotown, probably he was too showy and offended soone, that’s why he got beaten,” Mina Bell scoffed.
Ruben Fletcher was already furious, and these words made him even more enraged.
“Fiona Fletcher, say that again!”
“Did I say sothing wrong? How much of the 2 million from the Bell Family is left?”
Having heard about Ruben Fletcher’s recent squandering at Nightless, Mina Bell was angry, “I warn you, that money still needs to buy a house for our parents. Don’t you dare touch it!”
Resultingly, Ruben Fletcher suddenly jumped up from the hospital bed.
Swinging his arm, he slapped Mina Bell across the face, “It’s not your place to control ! If it wasn’t for you, would I have gotten beaten up?”
“Ruben Fletcher, how dare you hit ?”
The siblings had often fought since childhood, and Mina Bell was always beaten and never dared to fight back.
But now was different.
What status did he have, and what status did she have!
She charged forward to retaliate but was stopped by her foster parents, “Fiona, calm down, your brother is just provoked…”
Suddenly…
Ruben Fletcher took the opportunity to rush at her, and aid another solid slap at her face.
“Soone asked to give you a ssage, ‘watch your mouth, beware that trouble cos from what you say, and by then even the Bell Family can’t protect you!'”
Mina Bell’s face was burning with pain, but her foster parents kept persuading her.
The commotion in the ward had already attracted the attention of the adjacent ward. Soone peered through the small glass window in the door. She took a deep breath and suppressed her anger.
“Who said that?” Mina Bell gritted her teeth, “Was it that bitch Zoe Bell?”
Ruben Fletcher didn’t deny it.
“Are you stupid? Why provoke her? Are you into her?” Mina Bell questioned.
Having grown up together, she understood very well.
Ruben Fletcher was despicable, unable to move on seeing a pretty girl.
Ruben Fletcher shook his head hastily, “Absolutely not, she treated you that way last night. I just happened to run into her and wanted to teach her a lesson so she wouldn’t dare bother you in the future, but…”
Upon hearing that her brother was standing up for her, Mina Bell felt much more at ease.
Yet, thinking of Zoe Bell daring to do such things, her hatred towards her deepened.

Zoe Bell was still on her way to the theater, admiring the roses. The color of the rose was very pretty; soothing light music played in the car until William Hale’s phone vibrated, and Zac Cruz turned off the car’s music.
“Hello, Grandpa.”
Zoe Bell pursed her lips, naturally not daring to make a sound.
“What are you doing?” Old Sir Hale’s voice was displeased, “I send you a ssage and you don’t reply, you need to call you for you to pick up, huh!”
“On a date.”
“On a date…” Old Sir Hale was initially furious, as William Hale usually talked only about work or overti. Suddenly hearing him ntion a date, Old Sir Hale paused for a few seconds. “Oh, a date, that young rascal at ho by himself?”
“He’s with us too.”
“A eting with three people, what kind of eting is that?” Old Sir Hale scoffed.
“Did you need for sothing?”
“Well…” Old Sir Hale coughed, “when do you plan to bring her over to et us?”
“I’ve been busy with work recently, I’ll find ti, and then ask her schedule.”
Upon hearing this, Old Sir Hale scoffed, “Who isn’t busy? The whole family is busy, but you think you’re the busiest? Do you think I really want to see her? I’m also very busy usually. Do you think I’ll have ti to see her, that I’ll let you two in just because you bring her ho? I haven’t even agreed to you two being together!”
“You talk about marriage like it’s a done deal, do you even consider my opinion?”
Old Sir Hale’s voice grew louder. Zoe Bell heard it clearly.
Previously she had heard about Mr. Hale getting hit,
now being yelled at,
it seed the rumors were true, his relationship with his family was indeed tense.
“Grandpa, if you’ve nothing else, I’m going to hang up.”
“William Hale, I haven’t finished talking, I’m telling you…” Before Old Sir Hale could finish, the phone was hung up. William Hale appeared nonchalant, while Wyatt Hale secretly gave a thumbs up in his heart.
True to his brother, aside from his uncle, only he could talk back to Grandpa like that.
Zoe Bell married him to help him deal with his family.
So she took the initiative:
“Mr. Hale, I’m always free to accompany you back.
William Hale knew Zoe Bell was not prepared, he glanced at her:
“My family is not easy to deal with.”
Zoe Bell rely smiled, “Aren’t I always with you?”
Wyatt Hale was unexpectedly fed a mouthful of dog food!
