Chapter 151: Play The Voice Recording
The entire family was stunned, except Ye Qiao.
Old Master Ye’s facial expression beca even more bitter. Certainly, he would side with Ye Qiao if he had to choose between Qin Lan and Ye Qiao. Moreover, Xiao Hao went against her words. The morning that she was caught, she had claid that she was ordered to do so by Qin Lan. But now, she turned around and wrongly accused Ye Qiao instead.
Qin Lan was no ordinary woman, so Xiao Hao was quite afraid of her.
anwhile, Ye Shengxun looked at Ye Qiao suspiciously, but he did not quite believe what the nanny had just said.
Nevertheless, Qin Lan went out of her mind and was going to take advantage of the situation. She had dressed herself up elegantly that day. Her eyes beca teary, and she appeared like she was about to burst into tears. She looked at Ye Qiao sadly and said, “Qiao Qiao, I have always treated you so well... I’ve bought you all kinds of things. Even the clothes you wear are branded... Why did you treat this way?”
She cried and said to Ye Qiao.
On the other hand, Ye Zhenzhen was filled with hatred. She looked at Ye Qiao and scolded, “Ye Qiao! Why did you do that? My mom treats you better than she treats ! How could you be so ungrateful? I can still accept you had bullied in school, but how could you bully my mom too!?”
Both the mother and daughter cooperated with each other and put on quite a nice show there. They appeared that they were deeply wronged and tried to collaboratively gain the sympathy of those who were at the table.
Ye Qiao remained quiet all this while. She was calm. At that point, she got up from her seat slowly and left the dining table. She was headed toward Aunt Hao.
“Aunt Hao, you claid that it’s Madam who asked you to do so just now. Why did you go back on your words? Aren’t you humiliating yourself?” Ye Qiao said contemptuously.
Aunt Hao lowered her head. She was clenching the hem of her dacron shirt. “I was afraid of you at first, so I said what I had said. Qiao Qiao, you asked to do so, so that you could sche against Madam. In fact, you didn’t even eat the porridge. You flushed them down the toilet.”
“Dad! Lao Ye! Did you hear that? This girl is so wicked and cunning. It’s not easy to be soone’s stepmother. Despite treating her so well, she will never be grateful toward .” Qin Lan continued to put on a show, appearing like the one who was wronged.
“That’s true! What an ungrateful child!” Ye Zhenzhen reacted.
“Aunt Hao, are you sure that what you said is true?” Ye Qiao asked her seriously again.
“I’m sure of that!” This ti around, Aunt Hao spoke firmly without any hesitation.
Old Master Ye was an honest and kind man. Even if Aunt Hao did sothing wrong, she would not be forced down the road to ruins. But Qin Lan was different. Whoever offended her, the consequences were unimaginable.
Ye Qiao smiled faintly. “You need to be held responsible for whatever you said!”
As she said that, her slim and tall figure was seen walking toward the cabinet in the main living room. There were three telephones in the Ye family. There was one downstairs, and another one was put upstairs. anwhile, the third telephone was placed in the study. All of the telephones were connected and had the sa number. Usually, the nanny answered all calls from the ground floor.
“Ye Qiao, why are you acting so strange? Don’t you want to admit to the despicable things which you have done?” Qin Lan said sternly.
“Aunt Qin, why are you in such a rush? I need to defend my innocence too. If not, you’ll think that I’m easy at!” Ye Qiao put on a straight face and said sternly.
The way she carried herself was nothing like a 19-year-old girl at all. She picked up the handset and put it on speaker mode. Then, she pressed the play button, playing the voice recording.
“Madam!”
“Xiao Hao, did you do the thing I asked you to do every day?”
“Madam, I did it accordingly. Ye Qiao ate all the porridge!”
“Be careful. Don’t get caught!”
They could hear the conversation between Qin Lan and Aunt Hao from the phone...
Both Qin Lan and Aunt Hao were stunned. Ye Zhenzhen was stupefied too. Ye Zhenzhen thought that her mother would succeed in getting back at Ye Qiao, but now, her mother was ruined by Ye Qiao too.
Ye Shengxun had clenched his fists tightly now while the old master sighed inwardly. Luckily, the young girl was quite smart. She even recorded the telephone conversation.
“Aunt Qin, do you want to say that this is not your voice? I even went to the telecommunication office to ask for the call log. I have it right here. It’s clearly stated here that it’s your contact number!” Ye Qiao smiled and said in a calm voice.
