Chapter 146: That Wicked Woman
Ye Qiao cursed silently. ‘Who’s trying to hurt now?’
“Lu Xiaogun, tell … Did Ye Zhenzhen do this?” Except for the mother and daughter who were after her, who would want to hurt her? Chen Ya and her mother had been asked to leave. So now Aunt Hao was the one who did the cooking in the house.
“It’s not Ye Zhenzhen but Madam Qin. She bribed Aunt Hao to be on her side. There was laxative in the porridge, but it was a small dose. She would add that into the food every day until you finish your college entrance examination,” Lu Xiaogun said seriously.
‘Qin Lan! That wicked woman!
‘Doesn’t she look down on ? Isn’t she so certain that I won’t be admitted into a good university? Why does she have such low confidence in herself? Why did she even use such a trick?
‘Luckily, I’ve got Lu Xiaogun with . Otherwise, I’ll fall ill even if I don’t get exhausted from repeatedly going to the toilet after having all the laxatives. How would I be able to sit for the college entrance examination then?’
“Gun Gun, I know better now. Thank you, baby. I’ll be careful!”
‘Qin Lan! Does she think that her daughter could defeat if I fall ill?’
‘In my previous life, didn’t Ye Zhenzhen fail to be admitted to J University too?’
When she went downstairs again, her grandfather had finished his al. She secretly flushed the bowl of porridge down the toilet, pretending that she had eaten it.
For the mont, she still needed to find a way to collect the evidence that Aunt Hao had drugged the food.

It was now the day for the senior students to fill in their first choices. The atmosphere at the senior grade building was quite lively. There were students and parents everywhere. They were having a heated discussion, trying to guess the minimum scores required to enter every famous university.
Madam Qin dressed up elegantly that day. She stood beside Ye Zhenzhen and smiled happily the entire ti. She even called Ye Qiao over to them enthusiastically.
To avoid her, Ye Qiao used the excuse that she had a stomachache, so she went to the toilet. Actually, she went out and called her old ho. She did not forget that it was the third ti the older boy who lived next to her sat for his college entrance examination. She listed a few universities out for him as a reference point for him to apply.
When she returned, the class teacher had distributed the application form for the college entrance examination. Ye Qiao then sat at a corner and filled in the application form seriously.
“Parents and students, I do hope that you’ll fill in the form seriously according to your usual examination results!” The class teacher stood beside them on a platform and said loudly.
There were so words on the blackboard behind him. “There are only ten days left before the college entrance examination.”
Then, there was another round of discussion in the classroom.
“Is Ye Zhenzhen going to aim for the opportunity to be admitted to J University?”
Qin Lan smiled humbly. “Yes. Zhenzhen is definitely going to strive to be admitted to J University. Although she didn’t perform well during the past mock exams, she told that she was just trying to hide her true ability.”
Hearing her mother’s words, Ye Zhenzhen felt rather guilty. She was afraid that she might be scolded by her mother, so every ti she perford badly during the examination, she would tell her mother that she was just hiding her true ability deliberately for fear that she might evoke the other students’ competitive spirits.
“Zhenzhen’s results are so good. We, as parents ourselves, are quite jealous!”
Qin Lan was flattered, so she smiled happily. She then took a pen and helped Ye Zhenzhen to fill in her choices on the application form. The three choices which she filled in were all at J University. She was very confident.
After filling in the form, Qin Lan then pretended to appease Ye Qiao and went to her. “Qiao Qiao, which university do you plan on choosing? Your dad asked to give you so advice. You’ve filled in the form by now, right? It seems you’ve chosen J University!”
Qin Lan raised her voice deliberately so that the other parents and students would laugh at Ye Qiao. Certainly, there were those that broke into laughter.
“Qiao Qiao, you can’t simply fill in this application form. This is an opportunity too. I think that you’d better choose an ordinary university. It’s better to be safe than sorry!” Qin Lan pretended to be kind to her.
Ye Qiao smirked. “Aunt Qin! Thank you for your advice. But my choice is J University!”
Her voice was loud and clear. The minute she said that, the other students started whispering among themselves.
Ye Qiao’s examination results were considered average in the class. Hence, no one would believe that she could be admitted to J University.
Qin Lan felt rather smug by her reply. ‘This young girl will certainly be humiliated then… especially in front of the old master!
‘During the examinations, she’ll suffer from diarrhea that is so bad that she wouldn’t even think of being admitted to an ordinary university!’
