The busyness in the shop effectively diverted Stella Charlie’s attention, leaving her no ti to regret being unable to enroll.

It wasn’t until after two in the afternoon that she had a chance to eat lunch.

"Stella, there’s a handso guy looking for you downstairs."

Stella Charlie was taken aback: "Who?"

The girl passing the ssage wore a gossipy smile, leaned close to Stella Charlie’s ear, covered her mouth with her hand, and said, "It’s the handso guy in a suit from last ti. We were saying he must be interested in soone in the shop. Turns out it’s you!"

Upon hearing "suit," Stella Charlie imdiately pictured Vincent Warner’s face.

Why would he suddenly co to find her?

Stella Charlie felt an inexplicable anticipation, and imdiately put down her chopsticks, her face a bit flushed, as she ran downstairs.

As she reached the corner of the staircase, she saw Vincent Warner standing in the lobby.

At the mont their eyes t, Stella Charlie paused in her steps down the stairs, and her face flushed even more.

She slowed her steps down the stairs, noticing that all her colleagues were staring at them with gossipy looks, making her descent even more difficult.

Vincent Warner proactively walked up to her, disregarding everyone else, looking down at Stella Charlie, and gently asked, "Why are you still working?"

Stella Charlie was montarily stunned, not quite understanding why Vincent Warner asked this.

Vincent Warner continued, "Isn’t today the start of school?"

Stella Charlie only then realized, seeing there were custors wanting to go upstairs, she imdiately pulled Vincent Warner aside to make room at the stairway.

Amidst many gossipy gazes, she felt embarrassed and straightforwardly led Vincent Warner outside the shop.

"What’s up?" Vincent Warner asked again, "Why didn’t you go to school for registration?"

Stella Charlie pursed her lips and said, "... I don’t want to study anymore."

Vincent Warner frowned, "Not studying? What will you do? Work here for your whole life?"

Stella Charlie kept her head down without speaking.

"So many people want to get into Rivia University but can’t, yet you got in. Why not go?"

Stella Charlie took a deep breath and slightly turned her head aside, appearing a bit embarrassed: "The tuition is too expensive, I..."

"I’ve already paid the tuition."

Stella Charlie looked up at him in surprise.

Vincent Warner gave a gentle smile, pointing to the uniform she was wearing: "Go change your clothes, I’ll take you to school for registration."

Stella Charlie, however, stood still: "... I haven’t repaid the money I owe you yet..."

"I see you’re studying finance. After graduation, you can work at my company. You don’t need to worry about the expenses during school; later I’ll deduct it from your salary."

"I..."

"What you need to do now is study hard. I’m cultivating you as a talent I’ll rely on in the future, so don’t let down."

Stella Charlie smiled, her dark eyes glowing, expressing gratitude: "Thank you!"

"Quickly go change your clothes, I’ll wait at the door."

"Okay!" Stella Charlie imdiately ran back to the shop, briefly explained the situation to the manager, swiftly changed back into her own clothes, and ran back to Vincent Warner.

Vincent Warner took her to his car, got the admission letter from ho, and then went straight to the school.

In her excitent, Stella Charlie also considered Vincent Warner’s special status, and that he was driving a very expensive car. If he drove it into the school, it might cause a stir.

Going to a new school, in a new environnt, she just wanted to peacefully spend the next four years without becoming the subject of gossip or ridicule.

"Um... please just stop at the roadside entrance."

Vincent Warner turned and looked at her, asking indifferently, "What’s the matter? Is there a boy you like at this school? Are you afraid he’ll misunderstand if he sees you?"
