On the morning of the next day, Hilla was woken up by a series of noises.

It was unknown who was so hateful as to make so many noises in the early morning.

This village had a tradition. Young people would visit their friends and relatives on Christmas morning.

Halle and Hilla did not know many people here. Therefore, they could stay at ho and have a good rest.

Hilla stretched as she walked out of the house. At a glance, she saw Bruce busy in the courtyard.

He didn’t wear a coat and looked so handso in the white sweater under the sunlight. The two fluffy dogs were playing and running around him. What a beautiful scene! Hilla couldn’t get her eyes off them.

Halle ca out with so snacks. She reminded Hilla, "Hurry up and change your clothes. I’m afraid soone will co over soon."

Lilian told Halle their tradition before. They might have so visitors this morning.

This would not be a very formal visit. People would just co by and have a little chat.

Halle was also not very familiar with this village. She didn’t know who would co too.

Hilla was stunned. She looked at Halle and said, "Who will co?"

"I don’t know about others, but Roger should be coming!"

Halle smiled and subconsciously looked at the man working in the yard.

Sure enough, when Bruce heard this, he stopped what he was doing. He frowned and said in a low voice, "Don’t you co to build the kennel with ? Aren’t Cookie and Candy pitiful enough to be holess?"

Hilla had thought that what she needed to prepare for the guests, but when she heard Bruce ntion the kennel, she forgot the visitors and quickly said, "Let change the clothes. I’ll co over to help you!"

Halle looked at them with a faint smile. Then, she went to do her own things.

From ti to ti, she could hear that Hilla and Bruce were discussing and arguing over the issue of the kennel building.

When the kennel was finally built, Hilla took out the drawing board and re-painted her beloved painting.

Bruce took a look and said, "They are two dogs. Why do you only draw one rabbit? Which dog can have this rabbit now?"

Hilla was stunned. She looked at the little white rabbit squatting and murmured, "If I

draw two, wouldn’t it be like the two rabbits were dating? It But Cookie and Candy are both males! This isn’t a kennel for a dog couple."

Moreover, when she had picked up these two, they were in the sa brood. They were brothers.

Bruce took the drawing board and brush from Hilla’s hand. He squatted down and drew another rabbit next to this one.

The two rabbits were leaning against each other. One of them was wearing a red hat, which was the sa as the one last night.

This was a male and a female, two dating rabbits.

Hilla exclaid, "Why do you draw a red hat on it again? It’s so ugly!"

Bruce rolled his eyes and said seriously, "It’s easy to distinguish their genders!"

It was only a picture and they were two rabbits. Why did he have to divide them into male and female?

"This is so ugly. The two dogs are siblings and the picture should show the brotherhood. Hurry up and change it."

Hilla was so angry that she wanted to grab the brush in Bruce’s hand but Bruce was taller than her. With a wave, the brush and paint board were thrown aside.

Halle ca out of the room and looked at the group of people coming in. "Stop ssing around. Roger and his friends are here."

Hilla turned around and saw Roger and seven or eight young n around his age standing together behind him. Their eyes lit up when Hilla turned around.

The Holt girls were both very beautiful, especially Hilla. They had never seen such a beauty.

Soone secretly said, "She is more beautiful than the most beautiful girl in our school."

"She is the most beautiful girl in our village. No, she is the most beautiful girl in our town."

These young n were stunned. Roger regained his senses first and greeted them, "You must be Halle’s husband. rry Christmas, sir! rry Christmas, Hilla."

He was a little timid when he greeted Bruce, but when his gaze fell on Hilla, he got excited and revealed a shy smile.

The youths were still puzzled about the identity of the man in the courtyard. The oppression and aura brought about by this man made everyone a little nervous.

However, after hearing Roger’s words, they breathed a sigh of relief and greeted loudly to Bruce, "rry Christmas!"

Not to ntion Hilla, even Bruce himself was shocked. He noticed these guys all misunderstood him as Halle’s husband and get a little miffed about it.

He and Hilla looked exactly like a married couple, so how could they misunderstand?

Hilla saw Bruce’s dark face, so she quickly stood up and spoke, "You misunderstood. He is not..."

"Hilla, why don’t you invite your friends in?"

Hilla wanted to explain, but was interrupted by Bruce. Her face was filled with confusion as she looked at Bruce.

Halle called all the boys into the house and said, "Hilla, bring so tea."

After Halle finished speaking, she glanced at Bruce, shook her head, and entered the room.

The boys all entered the room one by one but their eyes still lingered on Hilla.

Soone joked, "Good for you, Roger. You really have Hilla’s number. She is even more beautiful than the photos."

"I thought you were lying. I didn’t expect to see such beauty in our village. I regret having a girlfriend in school. Why am I not single?"

"She is so beautiful. I guess the campus belle of River University couldn’t be prettier!"

In the courtyard, Hilla looked at Bruce strangely. She could not help but ask, "Why don’t you let make it clear to them that you are not my brother-in-law?"

Now, everyone felt that Bruce and her sister were a couple. She felt a little uncomfortable about this.

Bruce turned to Hilla. The smile at the corner of his mouth was sowhat cold. He lowered his head and whispered in Hilla’s ear, "If I explain it, how can I know how many people are there who want to be your husband!"

Did he try to spy on his rival in love?

Looking at Bruce, Hilla suddenly shivered in fear. She lowered her head and whispered, "Bruce, you look so sinister now!"

...

In the room, this group of young n smiled foolishly when they saw Hilla co in with tea.

Hilla poured so tea for them and brought over the cups one by one. She smiled and said, "Thank you, guys. This is our first Christmas here. I feel so warm that you co. I’m so glad to be a part of this village."

Hilla looked particularly enchanting when she smiled.

An outgoing young man imdiately said, "If there’s anything you need for, just say it. I’ll co over imdiately.

"By the way, Hilla, we have a group. Do you want to enter? If there is anything in the future, just tell us in the group."

There were too many of them this ti. If they all friended Hilla’s on the Line app, it would be a lot of work. Therefore, add Hilla to their group was a perfect choice.

The young n looked at Hilla with high spirits, and Hilla took out her phone in embarrassnt under their gazes.

She was just being polite, but these boys got overly friendly. She got a little nervous under their gazes.

"Is there anyone who can help clean up the yard?"

Before Hilla could take out her phone, Bruce had already appeared behind her and talked in a low voice.

Hilla couldn’t help but shrink back when the man’s breath fell on the back of her neck, her heart skipped a beat.

It was such a good opportunity to behave properly in front of the Holts. The boys were enthusiastic. They had not even taken a sip of tea before they all ran out to clean up the yard.

In less than half an hour, these young n had refreshed the courtyard.

"Our Hilla is beautiful. No matter where she is, we will worry about her. Halle also hopes that soone can protect her in the future. Fortunately, Hilla has been practicing martial arts since she was a child. Ordinary people can’t beat her."

Bruce stood in the courtyard, like a general who could command battles at any ti.

Wherever he pointed, these young n would dash there.

Hilla felt embarrassed standing at the side. She didn’t fight for a long ti. She looked at Bruce and whispered, "What nonsense are you talking about? I won’t hit anyone."

Bruce nodded. He looked at the boys in front of him and said loudly, "Hilla said that she will only make friends with the one who can beat her."

Bruce was talking about friends, but those young n took it as they could be her

boyfriend as long as they could win her!

These young n were stunned, and soone said, "Bruce, are you kidding? Hilla looks so fragile. How can we fight with her? And I never hit won."

Bruce put on a fake smile and said, "It doesn’t matter. You can’t win her."

No matter what, they were still n. Moreover, they were young and full of vigor.

When Bruce had provoked them in front of the girl they liked, of course, they had ...

taken the bait!

"Hilla, have you really learned martial arts? Why don’t we compete?"

Hilla waved her hand. "It’s not good to get hurt at Christmas."

Halle stepped forward and smiled gently. "It’s rare that there are so many boys of the sa age as you at ho. It should be easier for you to communicate with each other. Since you were young, you liked doing boys’ stuff. There are two cushions in that room. You can take them out. Don’t worry, boys. Hilla treats you as friends. She will not hurt you."

Those young n were even more eager to fight when they heard Halle’s words.

Their gaze was unwavering and intense.

"I don’t think that’s right. Hilla is a girl."

Roger muttered. Hilla didn’t care at first, but after being provoked by them, she itched to have a go. She rolled up her sleeves and smiled.

"It doesn’t matter. We don’t discriminate between n and won in our club. We’ll stop on ti."

Although this was a peaceful village where didn’t have many conflicts, so young n also had roughhoused with each other. Of course, they didn’t believe they would lose to Hilla. They were confident that they could win Hilla and be her boyfriend.

However, the boys were still very polite and pushed the gentle Roger out first. "I, I ... I won’t hurt you."

Roger looked at Hilla and said embarrassedly. Bruce, who was at the side, frowned and muttered in disdain, "Useless."

"He could get beat up by a girl. Where did he get the courage to steal my woman?" Bruce thought.

Hilla smiled. She said lightly, "Are you ready?"

The mont Roger nodded, Hilla took two or three steps forward to grab Roger’s arm. Then she turned around and gave him an overarm throw. Before Roger could react to where he was, he dizzily fell on the soft cushion on the ground.

The aggressive young n were stunned. Even if they did not know martial arts, they knew that was a perfect over-shoulder throw!

Her posture was standard and her strength was moderate. Roger did not get hurt, but he was a little silly from falling.

Then ca several more. As expected, they were all defeated by Hilla in one or two moves. Those who had brute force could still fight back with one move. However, Hilla would soon knock them down easily.

The last two martial arts practitioners were much better, but they still got beat up by Hilla.

All these young n stood in the courtyard, tugging at their torn clothes. Their young and handso faces were full of hesitation.

What should they do? Even if they could marry her, they could get beaten by her two or three tis a day.

The villagers valued their reputation and pride very much, especially the n in the village. If they were beaten by their wives every day, how shaful would that be!

They thought for a while and all felt that they couldn’t marry this beauty! "I, I still have sothing to do at ho. I’m leaving first!" "My dad also called . I’m leaving too."

So people started, and all of them ran away in a flash. Only Roger stayed until the end. He looked at Hilla and hesitated, "I, I heard that you are also studying in River City. I am starting school after the Christmas break. Do you want to go back to school together?"

Hilla shook her head and said with a smile, "No need. I should go back early."

Roger nodded. He pursed his lips and left with a red face. Only Bruce and Hilla were left in the courtyard. Hilla glanced coldly at the man beside her. She suddenly smiled and said, "You let them all fight with one by one. Now it’s your turn!"

She knew what Bruce was doing. He made these young n think she was a dragon.

So they didn’t dare to like her anymore.

Although she knew what Bruce was planning, she still cooperated.

Bruce turned to the side and awkwardly coughed, "According to the Andersons’s rules, n can never hit their wives!"
