As the office buzzed with discussion, the principal, inford of the events, hastened over.

Upon entering, he imdiately began exchanging pleasantries with Yin Moran.

"Mr. Yin, long ti no see. What brings you here..."

He had just happened to see Yin Moran enter the office, so he hurriedly finished what he was doing and ca over.

The school was expanding, and they were waiting for funds from the Yin Group to sponsor so equipnt.

Today was a good opportunity to et the man in person and perhaps chat about it.

However, it seed like sothing had happened.

Could it be trouble involving the princess of the Yin Family at school?

The principal’s expression darkened as he quickly glanced at Zhang ng, his gaze inquiring.

Zhang ng squeezed out a smile, yet before she could speak, several parents began to clamor.

"Principal Xu, you’re just in ti. Today your school must give us an explanation. This child has injured our children, and his family situation and behavioral habits make him unfit to continue attending school here. We unanimously demand that this child be expelled."

"That’s right. How can a child from such a vulgar family be fit to study with our children?"

"Indeed, it’s utterly degrading to the school’s standards."

"Yes, if he doesn’t leave, then we parents will collectively withdraw our children from the school."

"..."

Listening to the aggrieved comnts from the group of parents, the principal frowned and turned to Zhang ng, "Mrs. Zhang, what exactly happened here?"

Zhang ng swallowed hard, "Principal Xu, the sequence of events is... well..."

"The sequence of events is that this child was subjected to bullying on campus, and not only did your teachers handle it unfairly, but they actually showed partiality."

Yin Moran strode over to Lin Qian’s side, took Lin Zirui’s hand, and wrapped an arm around his shoulder.

"Principal Xu, it seems I need to seriously consider whether I want to continue sending my child to school here. After all, I certainly don’t want my child to learn all manner of snobbery during his formative years, or to judge people through biased lenses."

His words were not spoken heavily, yet they sent a shiver through Principal Xu.

"Don’t say that, Mr. Yin! It’s our school that has been neglectful. Rest assured, we will strengthen our teacher training to ensure that all educators carry a sound outlook on life and values, treating every student as their own child."

Had he annoyed him?

Yin Moran was naturally reserved and rarely took up the mantle for others.

Who was this child that could compel him to take a stand?

His gaze swept over the group of four, and whether it was his imagination or not, they looked like one happy family standing together!

"Principal Xu, I have no doubts about your teaching standards. However, my daughter quite enjoys attending classes with this little friend. It seems these parents cannot tolerate the child. I think it’s best if I withdraw my daughter and take little friend Lin Zirui with us, to avoid unpleasantries."

Yin Moran spoke calmly, his words causing Principal Xu’s head to tingle once more.

He could hear the underlying ssage: Lin Zirui stood on equal ground with his daughter.

Whoever dared to bully him would be crossing the Yins.

"Mr. Yin, you must be joking; if anyone should leave, it certainly shouldn’t be you."

Principal Xu cleared his throat, turning to the group of parents, "Dear parents, I am very sorry that the school does not et your expectations. Therefore, please feel free to search for a new school for your children."

He could not afford to offend the Buddha-like figure of Yin Moran.

All he could do was make these arrogant parents voluntarily withdraw their children.

"What? Principal Xu, how can you do this?"

"Principal Xu, we object, and your school must give us an explanation."

"..."

A crowd of people besieged Principal Xu, while Yin Moran curled his lips, not eager to linger.

Lowering his gaze, he saw Lin Zirui looking up at him with bright and pure eyes, shining with a hint of adoration.

No longer hating him?

Lin Zirui glanced up at Yin Moran’s dark eyes and quickly bowed his head, his small red lips pursing.

Candy’s dad had defended Mommy and him.

So majestic!

"Let’s go."

Yin Moran scooped up Candy from the ground, glanced at Lin Qian, and after a slight hesitation, reached out his hand toward Lin Zirui.

Lin Zirui’s small red lips pursed again, and he slowly extended his hand, taking hold of the large one.

Big hand holding a small one, an inexplicable sense of harmony.

"Mommy, let’s go."

Lin Zirui turned back and reached out his hand toward Lin Qian.

"Oh, okay."

Lin Qian stood there, dumbfounded, watching the scene unfold, quickly taking her son by the hand. The four of them, two adults and two kids, their figures disappeared at the doorway.

In the office, Principal Xu was being badgered by several parents until his head spun.

"Hey, listen to , do you know who you’ve just offended? That’s Yin Moran, the head of Yin Group. I’m just a little principal; how could I afford to offend him? If you want to co back to school, you should go beg for his rcy."

"What? That man was the famous Yin Moran? Why would he stand up for a lowly commoner?"

"Exactly, his daughter even called that woman mommy. Could it be, Yin Moran is going to marry her?"

"How could that be possible? What’s Yin Moran’s background? And what’s that woman’s background? It’s impossible for him to marry her."

"But even if he doesn’t marry her, if she’s Yin Moran’s lover, we can’t afford to offend her either. What do we do now!"

"..."

A group of parents cried and wailed, filled with regret.

But the four outside were unaware.

The four of them walked through the school corridor, slowly moving forward.

"Daddy, you were so aweso, standing up for mommy and brother!"

Candy rested on Yin Moran’s shoulder, her face lit with excitent as she sought praise from Lin Qian, "Mommy, wasn’t daddy just amazing?"

"Mm, Daddy was very amazing."

Lin Qian complinted, her gaze sweeping over the man’s profile, "Mr. Yin, thank you for today."

If it weren’t for him stepping in to back her up, she might have had to leave with her son, hanging her head in sha.

After all, you can’t twist an arm to fight a leg.

Those were wealthy and powerful parents, and she, just a humble sales clerk, couldn’t really stand up to them at all.

The key issue was that the teachers were so snobbish, not only failing to be just but also gossiping behind her back.

"How will you thank ?"

Yin Moran suddenly chid in.

Lin Qian was startled, her heart feeling a flush of embarrassnt.

She had only been speaking out of courtesy!

She really hadn’t thought about how to thank him.

After all, with his power and status, it was a re effortless gesture for him; there was no need for her gratitude.

"Well, I..."

"Mommy, how about we take my brother to my house today, and you cook us a al to thank Daddy, okay?"

Candy wiggled her little legs, her big eyes shining expectantly as she looked at Lin Qian.

"This..."

"That’s a good suggestion."

Yin Moran voiced his agreent, a corner of his lips curling up.

Lin Qian: "..."

It seed she couldn’t refuse.

Who let him help her out with such a big favor?

"Alright, sweetheart, you go outside with Candy and Uncle first, I need to go to the restroom."

"Okay."

"Uh, Mommy, are you nervous? When Candy is nervous, she also needs to pee."

Lin Qian stumbled.

No, she wasn’t; she didn’t!

She really just needed to use the bathroom.

She couldn’t help but laugh and cry, quickly turning into the restroom at the end of the corridor.

After entering a stall, emptying her bladder, and flushing the toilet, she was about to leave when she heard two voices discussing outside.

"I think Zhang ng is in trouble this ti, she’s really stepped on a landmine."

"Indeed, Zhang ng usually relies on her slight relation to Wang Jianguo to strut around presumptuously. Several of us teachers have been unhappy with her for a long ti; let’s see what her end will be this ti."

"Exactly. Wang Jianguo had her deliberately make disparaging comnts in front of the kids, hoping to make Lin Zirui’s parents withdraw him from school. He never expected their backing to be so strong!"

"Why would Wang Jianguo get Zhang ng to do such a thing? Did Lin Zirui’s parents offend her?"

"Who knows!"

"...."
