Chu Ziyang sat in a taxi and, following the location displayed on the GPS system, arrived at ili.

Stepping out of the car, the little guy looked at the splendidly decorated club entrance with big round eyes, then started walking with his short legs, following closely beside a man and a woman.

He knew this kind of place was high-end.

If he had co alone, the security guards on both sides might not have let him in.

Only by following adults could he bluff his way through.

Sure enough, the security guard glanced at him, saw him obediently trailing behind the guests, and didn’t ask any further questions, allowing him to pass directly.

Entering the club, listening to the thumping music, Chu Ziyang frowned with his good-looking little eyebrows and began searching for Lin Qian’s private room.

Climbing the stairs, he hesitated outside a private room, considering whether to push the door and enter when it opened, and soone ca out.

Chu Ziyang looked up, and his eyes brightened when he saw the person.

It was Dad!

Chu Yelin lowered his gaze to the little fellow who just reached the level of his knees and was also taken aback.

Then he signaled with his eyes for the little one to follow him to the corner.

The little guy nodded and happily followed Chu Yelin to an uninhabited corner.

"What are you doing here?"

Chu Yelin’s face was expressionless, his aura commanding.

"I ca to look for you and Mommy," Chu Ziyang replied.

"Running around alone? How did you know your Mommy and I were together?" Chu Yelin, though scolding with a cold face, revealed a trace of worry in his tone.

"I guessed."

Chu Ziyang had already grown accustod to Chu Yelin’s way of speaking to him; he was currently very excited.

"Daddy, did you see Mommy? When can we take Mommy ho?"

He longed for their family to reunite right away!

Take Mommy ho?

Chu Yelin’s brows rose slightly, and a hint of amusent flashed in his eyes.

"Not now, we have to wait a while."

The ga had just begun, not all the necessary encounters had happened yet, it wasn’t ti.

"I understand, Mommy doesn’t have feelings for you right now, so we have to wait until you and Mommy have feelings for each other before we can take her away, right?"

He rembered what Mommy had said.

To her, Daddy was a stranger who had once hurt her.

Even if he showed up, she wouldn’t feel any affection for him.

So now was not the ti to explain Daddy’s real identity to Mommy clearly.

They had to wait until Mommy felt affection for Daddy.

Though Chu Ziyang was eager for the family to be reunited, he knew he couldn’t rush.

Chu Yelin’s lips curved into a cool smile, not affirming or denying.

Was that what the little guy thought?

He really understood his intentions.

Taking away that person’s possession had always been his life’s aspiration.

"Alright, you can go back the way you ca."

Chu Yelin looked at the little guy’s shining eyes, sothing shifting in his own.

He turned and strode forward, no longer looking at him.

Chu Ziyang pursed his little red lips and hurried a few steps after him with his short legs, "Daddy, what about Zirui? Have you acknowledged each other yet? Has he co back with you?"

He wondered how his brother, who looked just like him, was doing now.

Was he very anxious?

He felt a sense of inexplicable apology.

He shouldn’t have kept it from him.

"He knows I am his father now and is currently with his master."

Chu Yelin slightly slowed his pace to let the little one catch up.

"Then has he been insisting on finding Mommy? Daddy..."

"You’ve been very talkative today, go back."

Chu Yelin stopped and looked at him, his face still expressionless.

Chu Ziyang t his gaze, swallowing the questions he had been about to ask.

They were a family, he wondered when they would be able to live together.

And there was his sister; he still wanted to ask his father if he had ever seen her.

Lost in his chaotic thoughts, a male voice echoed from nearby.

"Zirui?"

Chu Ziyang jerked to attention, turning his head to see Yin Moran striding toward him.

The imposing figure, with a hint of oppressiveness, made Chu Ziyang’s scalp tighten, and he subconsciously moved beside Chu Yelin, his little face taut as he watched him.

Daddy’s rival in love had arrived!

Yin Moran’s brows furrowed slightly, and he walked quickly to Lin Zirui, squatting down to be eye-level with him, "Bold move—how could you run out here alone?"

He had received a call from Candy that afternoon.

On the call, the little guy, in a pitiful voice, told him Lin Qian couldn’t pick Lin Zirui up from school today, and he refused to go back to the villa with her.

So he had arranged for a bodyguard to ensure the little guy’s safety.

Just monts ago, the bodyguard had followed the little guy to ili.

Combining this with the information from Nangong Li’s call, he knew the little guy was looking for Lin Qian.

This child, taking advantage of his cleverness, really knew how to make a run for it.

And that woman, she hadn’t even called him all afternoon.

For the sake of her job, she would neglect even her child.

Comndable dedication indeed!

Yin Moran’s dark eyes were somber, and his expression was none too pleased.

He reached out, intending to pull Chu Ziyang’s little hand and take him away.

Unexpectedly, the little fellow jerked his hand away, placing it behind his back, leaning closer toward Chu Yelin’s side.

An obvious rejection.

Yin Moran’s dark eyes narrowed slightly, his presence growing colder.

A casual male voice ca from above, "Is this... Mr. Yin?"

When he heard the voice, only then did Yin Moran transfer his attention to Chu Yelin.

Standing up, his eyes—dark as the deep sea—surveyed the other man, feeling an inexplicable sense of familiarity.

"Who are you?"

"Chu Yelin, the chief executive of MXL Corporation. Mr. Yin, I’ve long admired your reputation."

Chu Yelin introduced himself with a smile on his lips that did not quite reach his eyes, extending his hand to Yin Moran.

The chief executive of MXL Corporation?

The important leader Lin Qian was supposed to entertain tonight?

Quite young.

And harboring a slightly perceptible hostility?

Yin Moran’s dark eyes grew heavy as he extended his hand for a handshake.

Under the dim, cold light, two similarly tall and handso n stood face to face.

Both of them exuded a strong presence and a chilly deanor.

Beside them, Chu Ziyang watched the two n without blinking, his little mouth pursed tight.

I wonder whom Mommy will eventually like?

"Hey, looks like little friend Zirui is here too!"

A languid voice ca from behind.

The two grown n released each other’s hands and looked down at Chu Ziyang at the sa ti.

Without further ado, Yin Moran took hold of the little guy’s hand and handed it over to Nangong Li.

"Help send him back."

Nangong Li’s eyebrow lifted slightly, his gaze moving from the top of the little guy’s head to Chu Yelin, a flicker of intrigue flashing through his attractive, peach-blossom eyes.

Does this man look familiar because he bears a resemblance to Yin Moran, which brings a sense of familiarity or because he had seen him sowhere before?

Nangong Li smiled at Chu Yelin, "I suppose you’re the big leader my sister Lin ntioned she was to entertain? How should I address you?"

"Chu Yelin."

"Ah, hello, Nangong Li."

The two n nodded slightly to each other, and as Nangong Li’s thoughts wandered, about to speak, the little guy in his hand struggled to break free.

"Let’s go, little friend Zirui, I’ll take you ho."

The little guy seed to be repelled by Yin Moran’s approach, better to get him out of Old Yin’s way for now.

Chu Ziyang frowned tightly, his bright eyes looking at Chu Yelin, wanting to say sothing but ultimately staying silent, obediently following Nangong Li out.
