Lin Qian’s cheeks were slightly flushed as she bit her lip and asked, "Yin Moran, why are you sitting on the sa horse as ? And, how did you get in? The tickets were with ."
"The staff saw us standing together with the children, and obviously misunderstood sothing, so when I said I wanted to co in, they let through. As for sitting on the sa horse... I like it, is there a problem?"
Yin Moran whispered in Lin Qian’s ear, his broad chest enveloping the petite woman, his face stretched with a long smile.
Lin Qian felt her heart fluctuating like the undulating wooden horse, with ripples continuously spreading.
Her ears were burning from the man’s breath, and her neck also blushed with color.
Being held tight in his arms, she felt on pins and needles yet faintly thrilled.
She didn’t know what to say, only that the motion of the carousel made her head spin in confusion.
"Weren’t you going to take a selfie? Why aren’t you continuing?"
The man’s low, enchanting voice rang in her ears again, beguiling the heart.
Lin Qian subconsciously took out her phone, made a V-sign, and captured the man’s handso face in the cara.
The afternoon sun was great, making the handso man and beautiful woman in the photo appear incredibly aesthetic.
Two smiling faces, full of sweet joy.
Just like a couple in passionate love.
This thought flashed through Lin Qian’s mind again; she bit her lip, her thoughts drifting slightly.
It seed that she was letting him step by step into her heart unknowingly.
Was she really planning to continue dating him?
Suddenly feeling sowhat at a loss.
Her status was far beneath his, they couldn’t possibly be together.
That’s right, she was overthinking it, she was just out playing with the kids, she didn’t need to make a big deal out of it.
The music stopped, and the carousel ceased moving.
Lin Qian shifted her body and turned her head, "Yin Moran, it’s over, get down quickly."
Yin Moran felt a sense of lingering satisfaction.
He hadn’t expected to ride such a simple carousel at this stage of his life.
But this casual joy left him quite content.
He dismounted with one long leg, then reached out to pick up the woman who was about to dismount from the wooden horse.
The sudden lift made Lin Qian almost cry out; she quickly grabbed the man’s arm and steadied herself on the ground.
Her moist apricot eyes looked at him with a mix of coyness and reproach, "Yin Moran, you scared to death, I’m not Candy, I can get down by myself."
"Candy said you were tired from work today and needed to hold you. I’m just following our daughter’s advice, fulfilling the duty of a gentleman," he glanced at her, put one hand in his pocket, and turned away striding off.
The warmth from the man’s touch seed to linger on her waist, making her face unbearably hot. Lin Qian took a deep breath, shook her head to cast off those strange thoughts, and quickly followed him.
Arriving at the children’s play area, the two little ones were having a blast. Lin Qian pulled out her mobile phone and started snapping pictures nonstop.
Action shots, stills, looking at the silhouettes of the two little ones on her phone, Lin Qian felt every photo was precious.
"So cute, how can they be so adorable?" she said to herself while flipping through the photos on her phone.
"Because their parents both make a handso picture," the man’s magnetic voice rang beside her ear. Lin Qian was startled, only then realizing that Yin Moran was standing very close, his gaze on her phone.
Lin Qian quickly touched her burning ear and moved a step to the side.
Her beautiful almond eyes flickered, her heart skipping a beat.
The way he just spoke sounded like he was implying sothing.
Their parents?
It sounded as if they were a family.
Lin Qian didn’t know what to say, so she pretended to tuck so stray hair behind her ear, remaining silent.
The woman was clearly playing dumb, Yin Moran’s eyebrows knitted slightly, a look of surprise flashed across his handso face.
He thought his behavior over the past few days had been quite obvious, he simply wanted her to beco Candy’s mother, to be his life partner.
Yet looking at her now, it seed she didn’t share the sa thoughts.
What really was going on in her heart?
The man’s gaze was deep and piercing, Lin Qian could feel his intense scrutiny without even looking.
It exuded an overwhelming pressure.
Her heart trembled, Lin Qian just wanted to escape quickly.
"Um, I’ll go buy so water for the kids."
Lin Qian flashed Yin Moran a dry smile and hurried off to the place where water was sold.
Behind her, Yin Moran, hands in his pockets, watched her hastily retreating figure, his jaw clenched tightly.
"Daddy, where’s Mommy?"
Candy, head drenched in sweat from playing, excitedly ran towards Yin Moran.
Behind him followed Lin Zirui, his little face equally flushed.
Yin Moran glanced in Lin Qian’s direction, "She went to buy water for you two."
"Mmm, I’m so thirsty."
Candry grasped Lin Zirui’s hand, "Zirui, let’s go find Mommy."
"Okay."
The two little ones exchanged a look and ran off in Lin Qian’s direction.
Mother and children soon reunited, the woman squatting down to gently wipe their sweat and offer water, her smile so sweet.
Yin Moran’s lips pressed into a thin line, his emotions stirring restlessly in his dark eyes.
The little ones ran off to play other gas, and Yin Moran saw Lin Qian following them, seemingly intentionally or unintentionally keeping a distance from him,
Clearly not wanting to be further associated with him.
The air around him grew tense, Yin Moran’s face cold, and he fell silent.
Lin Qian’s mind was in turmoil; she had noticed Yin Moran’s displeasure.
He was angry.
Angry at her for taking his gestures for granted.
After all, a man of his standing had repeatedly lowered himself for her, hinting again and again, and she had shown no response.
No!
She had responded; she just wasn’t ready yet.
Couldn’t he be a little more patient and give her so ti?
Perhaps...
Lin Qian’s cheeks ward up; in fact, she did have feelings for him, didn’t she?
A man like him was not easy to ignore.
Moreover, he had helped her so many tis.
Just a little more ti!
Lost in thought, Lin Qian ran her hands through her hair, instinctively searching for that tall figure.
At that mont, the man was sitting in the resting area with a stern face, exuding an air of nobility and aloofness.
A few young girls were whispering and pointing in his direction.
Then one of the girls, face flushed, approached him with a chat-up attempt.
He was being harassed!
Lin Qian couldn’t hear their conversation, but she could see the impatience on Yin Moran’s face.
Without giving it much thought, she walked briskly over, squeezed past the young girl, and stood beside Yin Moran, giving him a coy smile and offering a bottle of water, "Darling, are you thirsty? Have so water."
Lin Qian’s sudden display of affection caught Yin Moran off guard; his gaze lingered on her sweet smile, and his tense jaw gradually relaxed.
Darling?
He liked this address!
