Her cheek brushed against his shoulder, and though he wasn’t wearing the coat from New Year’s Eve, she seed to catch a whiff of Su Rongxing’s perfu.
It was just her being overly sensitive.
Actually, she was a very generous person, but also quite petty.
She walked away without looking back.
She took a taxi straight ho, quickly packed up, and carried her equipnt and luggage downstairs. Just as she was about to call a car, she saw Su Rongyu’s car parked below.
She simply couldn’t understand what ga their family was playing! And she didn’t want to play along!
As she was contemplating whether to bypass Su Rongyu and go directly off-campus, she saw the car door open. Su Rongyu, with a sullen face, stepped out to help her with her things and even timidly called out, "Sis."
She watched him move her luggage into the car without saying anything else, exuding an awkward air.
She had no choice but to get in the car, and then Su Rongyu hit the gas, driving straight off.
Why all this awkwardness for no reason?
She didn’t need anyone to pick her up or drop her off!
The entire ride, Su Rongyu didn’t say a word. When they arrived, he parked in the lot, carried her luggage and equipnt, and walked her to the station entrance.
"Let know your train details for when you co back," Su Rongyu said with a drooping face.
"No, Su Rongyu..." Tu Hengsha couldn’t hold back, "You don’t need to pick up or drop off! You’re not obliged! I don’t need it! Besides..." She hesitated for a mont before speaking bluntly, "Why force yourself? I know your whole family hates now, isn’t it weird for you to push yourself to face ? It’s practically self-torture!"
Su Rongyu looked at her, a bit sheepishly, "No... no one hates you. No..."
"Then what’s with you? Not saying a word to ! Acting like I owe you millions! I can only think this way, because to you guys, I probably owe more than millions!"
Su Rongyu moved his lips but hesitated to speak.
Tu Hengsha didn’t want to say more and was about to take her luggage inside, but Su Rongyu held on to her things and finally said, "Sis, we still have ti. Why don’t we sit at that little restaurant nearby and have so lunch before you leave?"
Was this guy finally behaving normally?
There was a ran shop nearby. She followed Su Rongcheng in and found a seat. They each ordered a bowl of noodles.
Su Rongyu hesitated to start talking; his awkwardness was palpable to Tu Hengsha.
"If you have sothing to say, just say it! Otherwise, once I finish eating, I’m really leaving!" she said, stirring her noodles with her chopsticks.
Su Rongyu then spoke, "Sis, I really don’t hate you. I’m... afraid to see you. I feel embarrassed, can’t face you..."
"Why? You didn’t do anything wrong to , did you? Why be afraid?" This surprised Tu Hengsha. Su Rongyu? Embarrassed?
"Well... but, my second brother wronged you..." Su Rongyu stamred.
Tu Hengsha paused her noodle-stirring, then continued.
"Sis..." Su Rongyu was baffled by her reaction. Was she too calm?
Tu Hengsha sighed, "Didn’t you just call sis?"
"It’s not that I don’t want to call you sister-in-law, it’s just my second brother... humph!" Su Rongyu seed upset, "He’s no man!"
"What exactly happened?" She was speechless at Su Rongyu’s child-like behavior. She had thought he had grown from this experience; clearly, he was still a child.
Su Rongyu pouted defiantly, "My mom attempted suicide last ti, forbidding my second brother to contact you, and said if he did, she would do it again, so my second brother just... just..."
