Su Ronggui said the place for hot springs was a resort area at the foot of the Great Wall.

The day before their day off, they had no overti tasks, so they left work on ti and headed straight there; it was already dark when they arrived.

On the way to the hotel, there was a folk street with Ming and Qing dynasty houses, the whole street was lit with red lanterns, making one feel like they had traveled to another ti.

Even in this weather, the street was bustling with people, many stalls selling snacks lined the street, and the crowd holding various snacks made it quite tempting.

Tu Hengsha bought all the way, braised pork, oil tea, donkey at sandwich, i vegetable pie, candied hawthorn...

It wasn’t long before Su Ronggui was holding a small suitcase in one hand and a bunch of food in the other.

Tu Hengsha stopped in front of a hawthorn ice cream shop, really wanted to buy it, but was stopped by Su Ronggui.

"I haven’t had hawthorn-flavored ice cream yet!" She tugged at his sleeve, not letting him go.

"When I say no, it’s no!" Mr. Su’s stern face indicated there was no room for negotiation on this issue.

"Mr. Su..." She shook his sleeve, her big eyes reflecting the orange-red glow of the lanterns, warm and lively.

His expression softened a little but still didn’t agree, "Be good, we’ll co back and have it when the weather is warr. There’s a chestnut vendor ahead; let’s go buy chestnut cake."

"..." She rolled her eyes, acting coquettish and pathetic didn’t work! Her mother was the only one who repeated the mantra about not eating ice cream in cold weather! Didn’t she have cold drinks every winter?

Taking three steps back at a ti, she was called away by Mr. Su.

To cheer her up, after buying the chestnut cake, he bought fried tofu, hot milk tea, and the like, letting her carry the food.

At the hotel, after checking in, they placed all the snacks on the coffee table. Su Ronggui sat cross-legged beside her, reached out and pinched her cheek, "Still mad?"

"When was I ever mad?" She opened the wrapping of the pie.

"Saying you’re not mad? Your cheeks are puffed up like balloons!" He pulled her into his embrace, letting her sit on his lap, his nose against hers, "Give you a little sweetness, won’t you be mad anymore?"

Such an obvious offer of a kiss...

Tu Hengsha turned her head to indicate she didn’t want it.

"Miss this opportunity, there won’t be another store like this! Next ti you make kiss you, I won’t do it!"

Such a way of coaxing a girlfriend, she really had never seen before, Mr. Su was the first...

And she, being so hopeless, actually burst into laughter. Alright, she wasn’t really mad at all! She knew he was doing it for her good, having heard from Sister Qian that girls should eat less cold foods and rembered it. She felt ward by it, how could she be mad? She just liked to act up in front of him and enjoyed the feeling of coyness.

She deliberately pushed him away, holding up the pie in her hand, "The pie is much tastier than you!"

"Really?" He raised his eyebrows, "Then later, you should compare properly."

"..." Did "compare properly later" an what she thought it ant? She felt Mr. Su must have learned so bad things from soone! When did he go for extra classes? She decided to jump away from this topic, taking a bite of the pie, "Do you have any plans?" Besides comparing properly later.

"Yes, the activities here are quite rich. We can take a night tour of the Great Wall, soak in hot springs, I can brew tea for you at night, if you’re not tired we can watch a film online together, tomorrow morning if you can get up, we can watch the sunrise on the Great Wall, during the day we can go boating, also learn kite making, learn lantern making, it seems there’s a silver shop where you can make your own silver jewelry, quite a lot!"

Mr. Su listed various activities for her, but her attention ended at "watch a film online," her eyes blinked and instantly brightened, asking mysteriously, "Mr. Su, where did you get the film? How do you find a film online?"

"iQiyi and You..." Mr. Su stopped mid-sentence, seeing her little eyes, suddenly realized her mind was thinking about sothing different from his, his expression beca stern, "Tu Hengsha! Can you be a little more innocent?"

"How am I not innocent? You’re the one who said watch a film..." She muttered, seeing the fire igniting in Mr. Su’s eyes, hurriedly stuffed the pie into his mouth, "Mr. Su! Eat... eat pie..."

She didn’t look at Mr. Su’s eyes anymore, lowered her head and opened another package of food.

On a small tea table full of snacks, she was focused, eating a little of each, feeding him one bite. The two of them almost finished the whole pile, then Mr. Su asked her, "Go out and have a proper al?"

She shook her head, "I can’t eat anymore, are you hungry? If you’re hungry, I’ll eat a bit with you."

"I’m not hungry either." He rubbed his face against hers, kissed her cheek.

"Let’s climb the Great Wall!" She yawned, snuggled into his arms, her voice carrying a trace of tiredness.

"Look how tired you are, why not rest? We can have a soak..." His lips moved to her ear, gently nibbling on her earlobe, his hand also slipping into her clothes.

"No..." She struggled to pull herself out, "I’ve never seen the Great Wall at night..."

He sighed helplessly, kissed her hard on the lips before letting her go, "Then let’s go!"

The Great Wall at night, the steps were all lit up like a dazzling golden dragon winding upward.

Though it was supposed to snow, the light on the steps made the whole night beco bright and clear.

It wasn’t hard to climb, with their leg strength, they reached the Great Wall quickly by cable car. The original appearance of the Ming Great Wall had been eroded by ti, with only the steps left to tell stories of history’s vicissitudes in the glow of the light.

Treading on history, standing between heaven and earth, the lights of the small town at the foot of the Great Wall looked like fallen stars, bright and glittering.

"Is it beautiful?" he asked.

She nodded. It was beautiful, only the winter night wind made it feel really cold.

Suddenly, her body was wrapped tightly as he covered her with his coat from behind.

"Are you cold?" She turned back to ask, just eting his eyes. No, the place where stars fell wasn’t the small town below; it was his eyes, more beautiful than the brilliant lights.

He lightly touched her lips, "Not cold, I have a little sun in my arms."

She laughed, snuggling deeper into his embrace, "Last ti you said I was the bright moon, now I’m a little sun, what exactly am I?"

"You’re everything." His voice grew softer, so faint amidst the wind, barely audible, "You are the sun, the moon, the stars, everything."

She rubbed against the soft fibers of his sweater, pouting, "I’m your baby."

He laughed out loud.

"Am I? You called before!" she tried to pinch the muscles at his waist, failing each ti.

"When did I say it? I don’t rember," he laughed and asked.

"How could you forget? In bed! Su Ronggui! Are you not owning up now that you’re out of bed? n indeed aren’t good!" She used more force to try and pinch him, still without success.

"..." He was speechless, awkwardly glancing around. There were quite a few people on the night tour!

"Isn’t it? Isn’t it?" The person in his arms wouldn’t let go.

He had to grab her hand, whispering in her ear, "Yes! Yes! You’re not just my baby, you’re my ancestor!"

Only then was she happy, giving another pinch, complaining, "Is the flesh on your waist made of iron? Why can’t I pinch it?"

He laughed again, his hand slipping in, gently pinching her waist, "Do you want to be like you, all fat?"

"Su Ronggui!" She could also get angry, and when she got mad, she called the full na, didn’t she?

He rubbed his hair against hers, the tips of his fingers smooth against her skin, his breath a little heavy, "Sweetheart, let’s go back, okay?"
