Nathan Ayers also sensed sothing unusual about the atmosphere on site. He glanced toward Seraphina Redgrave’s direction and saw her making a hand gesture from afar.

This signaled an unexpected situation requiring him to control the scene.

The atmosphere around Nathan Ayers instantly beca tense; he deleted the four words he just said and hurried toward that direction.

Mia Redgrave leaned on a cane, staggering forward, step by step approaching, her eyes locked tightly on Seraphina Redgrave, "Is your na really Sylvia Shaw?"

As soon as she spoke, countless illustrated papers suddenly floated in the air.

The sheets descended like celestial flowers scattering.

Soone curiously reached out to catch one, discovering it was a photograph — a family portrait with Jonathan and Seraphina Redgrave sitting on the couch, smiling kindly, while eighteen-year-old Mia and Seraphina Redgrave stood behind them, looking at the cara.

Seraphina Redgrave also took a sheet, and after seeing the photo clearly, she couldn’t help but laugh.

It was well edited; no traces of manipulation could be seen.

However, how could the photo be real? At eighteen, how could Seraphina Redgrave qualify to be in their family portrait? In those years, she didn’t even have the privilege to stand aside!

Underneath the photo were several lines of red text.

Mia spoke again, "You aren’t Sylvia Shaw, you’re Seraphina Redgrave."

She moved forward several steps, and unexpectedly recited those red lines: "Twenty years ago, you were abandoned by your biological parents at Eastgrace Hospital. My parents couldn’t bear to see you, such a small child, starve on the streets and kindly took you in. Yet you were inherently vicious; just because my parents refused to give you extra pocket money, you went stealing, robbing, and committed all sorts of atrocities!"

Her words stunned the entire audience. Nobody could recover from her statent, and the way people looked at Seraphina Redgrave grew complicated.

What exactly is going on here?

Security rushed to restrain Mia Redgrave and snatched the microphone from her hand.

Yet Mia’s voice still echoed from the speakers clearly, word for word, "Seraphina Redgrave, your vile acts are endless. My parents had no choice but to abandon you. What do you do? Jealous of my better life, you repeatedly frad . Eventually, you beca ntally unstable and were sent to Veridian Isle. After several years, you sohow managed to escape, and now your deeds are even more malicious. You used nonexistent things to ruin the Redgrave family!"

Claire Ford heard everything clearly and opened her mouth wide in shock, "What do you an by ’sent to Veridian Isle’?"

"..."

The Defiance Society mbers skipped a heartbeat.

No way.

Seraphina couldn’t be soone from Veridian Isle!

But, Seraphina Redgrave and Seraphina, they matched.

Seraphina Redgrave stood still, the temperature around her abruptly dropping, gazing coldly at Mia Redgrave.

She suddenly realized that so hidden conspiracies seed to be closing in on her, targeting her directly.

She looked in another direction; Selena Quinn sat elegantly as always, feeling her gaze. Selena Quinn even managed a gentle smile.

Could it be Selena Quinn?

Security went to drag Mia Redgrave away; her cane slipped away, leading her to fall to the ground and scream hysterically at Seraphina Redgrave, "Seraphina Redgrave! Do you dare admit to changing your na? Dare to admit you’re a fugitive from Veridian Isle? Dare to admit that what you’ve done is to contaminate the country with Veridian Isle’s ugliness!"

"..."

Seraphina Redgrave looked at this madwoman, their gazes clashing with intense sparks in the air.

"Seraphina!"

The Defiance Society mbers rushed up. Ronan Yates worried deeply about Seraphina Redgrave’s ntal state now, "Seraphina, this woman is just here to cause trouble, you should leave, we will handle the aftermath."

"Right, right, Seraphina, you should leave."

Everyone was willing to stay and clean up the ss.

Leave?

Where to go?

Everything currently was being broadcast live. Even if she disregarded the public opinion, The Presidential Palace and major conglorates might have started investigating her.

Leaving, what’s the use?

Seeing Seraphina Redgrave being urged to depart, Mia suddenly laughed out loud, laughing crazily, her eyes crimson, "Seraphina Redgrave, you’re scared to admit it, you’re a fugitive from Veridian Isle, you deserved to die long ago! Yet you are absurdly chasing things you can’t deserve; you want to beco a senator, laughable, all to prepare for your sinful plan."

"What the hell...? Sylvia Shaw isn’t a fugitive from Veridian Isle!"

Beatrice Fawcett glared at the crazed Mia Redgrave and shouted.

"Do you still want to trust her? Hahaha... so foolish." Mia’s laughter grew louder, becoming terrifying.

She stretched out her hand, pointing fiercely at Seraphina Redgrave, every word bleeding, "Seraphina Redgrave, dare you show your hands to everyone? Show if there’s an electronic handcuff or not?"

Everyone’s eyes shifted between Mia Redgrave and Seraphina Redgrave; what on earth was happening?

Electronic handcuff, the mark of Veridian Isle people, nobody could remove that handcuff.

So of the public surprisingly started to jeer, shouting collectively, "Handcuff! Handcuff!"

Shouts grew louder, completely igniting the scene’s atmosphere at this mont.

Rory was so angry that the flesh on his face trembled. He rushed to the stage, shouting, "You are too much! Seraphina can’t be a fugitive from Veridian Isle! What you’re doing is slandering Seraphina!"

Of course, those who lived with Seraphina day-to-day would know whether she had a handcuff or not.

After shouting this, Rory walked to Seraphina Redgrave’s side and lifted her wrist right away.

Seraphina Redgrave’s expression did not change.

Ronan Yates and Beatrice Fawcett realized sothing was wrong and tried to stop Rory’s actions, but it was too late.

All caras collectively focused on Seraphina Redgrave’s wrist.

Sunlight bathed her slender wrist; Seraphina Redgrave’s hand seed like a heavenly sculpture, delicate and in proportion, below, was a superbly crafted jade bracelet.

However, at that mont, the bracelet was covered in fine lines.

Rory also heard the cracking sound from the bracelet and looked up in astonishnt, witnessing the cracks on the previously intact bracelet growing larger.

"!"

Rory’s eyes widened, and the next instant, with a snap, the bracelet shattered completely, revealing beneath the jade was surprisingly a silver electronic handcuff.

Sunlight reflected off the handcuff, its cold glint refracting in the air, instantly enlightening everyone on what was truly happening.

Electronic handcuff.

Solid evidence, Seraphina Redgrave was indeed a fugitive from Veridian Isle.
