"Hmm, your performance was excellent," Miles Harrington nodded and said.

"Thank you for your praise."

Beatrice Fawcett, being just a student, blushed involuntarily when complinted by such a prominent figure.

Miles Harrington then praised other mbers of the society one by one.

Seeing Miles Harrington’s sowhat approachable nature, everyone gradually relaxed a bit.

After complinting everyone else, Miles Harrington’s gaze fell on Seraphina Redgrave, "I heard that The Defiance Society was founded single-handedly by Student Shaw, his boldness is truly exceptional."

"There’s nothing exceptional about it, I just wanted to try,"

Seraphina Redgrave said calmly, in an utterly tranquil tone.

"Try?"

Miles Harrington showed a bit of curiosity.

"Try to see if ordinary people in Z country have the right to dream," Seraphina Redgrave looked directly into Miles Harrington’s eyes and spoke word for word.

Upon hearing this, the crowd gasped and looked at Seraphina Redgrave anxiously.

Oh dear Seraphina, you might say these things casually to us, but how can you dare say this here?

However, Miles Harrington did not get angry, he simply asked her, "And what is your dream?"

"For instance, not being ignored, sitting idly waiting for several hours."

Seraphina Redgrave said plainly.

Once she finished speaking, a nearby butler’s face darkened imdiately: "This student’s words are sowhat inappropriate; the President deals with countless important docunts daily. You were only kept waiting for a few hours, yet you dare to be dissatisfied?"

"If it was just pure waiting, there would be no issue, but biased waiting naturally leads to dissatisfaction."

Seraphina Redgrave raised her head to look at a cara hidden in a corner, "Surely behind it, many high-ranking people are critiquing us, pondering whether we’re rebellious students worthy of being crushed by force, or if enticing benefits could suppress the matter."

Otherwise, the opposition between the offspring of the powerful and ordinary citizens is no small trouble.

Today, being called here must be because The Presidential Palace wishes to employ the latter tactic, but first, they made them wait for hours, as a test.

Ronan Yates and others were almost startled, Seraphina really dares to say anything.

"..." Miles Harrington was montarily taken aback by Seraphina Redgrave’s candid words.

Seraphina Redgrave looked at him and continued, "In the exceptionally noble Presidential Palace, a few students wish to be respected, it’s nothing but a vain dream, isn’t it?"

This sentence seed like a small thorn, inflicting no harm but evoking a subtle feeling.

Miles Harrington gazed at her for a long mont before slowly smiling, "I was wondering how a girl managed to establish The Defiance Society under intense pressure, now, I understand a bit."

She is inherently not an ordinary person.

Before Seraphina Redgrave could speak, Miles Harrington thought of sothing and laughed again, "Your personality reminds of soone, he’s equally as uninhibited, bold, unpredictable, no one can anticipate his next move."

Never does he restrain his disposition considering the occasion, he does whatever he wants, no one can stop him.

"Who are you referring to?"

Ronan Yates asked quietly.

"Ethan Sterling, you know of him, right?"

Miles Harrington smiled as he spoke to them.

"..."

Seraphina Redgrave paused silently, not expecting to hear Ethan Sterling’s na here.

Ronan Yates also awkwardly laughed, thinking how could I not know such a well-known and elite figure.

"If I knew earlier, I would have invited Ethan Sterling today to et you both, see who could prevail," Miles Harrington chuckled.

"The President speaks too highly," Seraphina Redgrave said flatly, finding the topic increasingly off-track.

"Alright, since Student Shaw has already expressed things clearly, I won’t pussyfoot around."

Miles Harrington sat in place, smiling mildly, "I very much admire your The Defiance Society, I am certain of rewarding you with an opportunity, you all will beco the pillars of Z country in the future, but first, promise not to incite conflicts between different classes, wouldn’t it create a terrible impact, right, Student Shaw?"

"If The Defiance Society can continue to survive peacefully, I naturally have no objections," Seraphina Redgrave said.

"Peacefully?" Miles Harrington repeated.

"The Defiance Society had sabotage at competitions, last ti Beatrice Fawcett and I were nearly killed," Seraphina Redgrave glanced at Beatrice Fawcett and said, "So things indeed require caution."

Miles Harrington looked at her, she’s indeed resolved not to take even a slight loss, already negotiating.

A mont passed before Miles Harrington slowly said, "Whether it’s in school or life, competition is quite fierce, here’s what: Student Shaw, if soone troubles you in the future, directly contact The Presidential Palace, I’ll have soone assist you."

Having said that, Miles Harrington turned to the nearby butler, "Listen well, whenever Student Shaw visits, notify imdiately."

"Understood."

The butler bowed his head respectfully in acknowledgent.

Hearing Miles Harrington’s words, Ronan Yates and Rory were thrilled, does this an they received immunity!

This President is truly kind.

"Then I thank you in advance."

Seraphina Redgrave lowered her eyes, naturally not expecting the President, busy with national affairs, to resolve these trivial issues, but with his words, at least The Defiance Society’s public situation would be sowhat improved.

"Don’t thank , I’m waiting for you all to beco Z country’s backbone in the future."

Miles Harrington smiled lightly, then looked at Ronan Yates and the others, "What do you all want to do in the future? You can tell , maybe I can help."

This was an olive branch.

Upon hearing these words, Rory eagerly shared his dreams, stating they didn’t need special privileges, they’d achieve them step by step on their own rits.

"Not bad, very spirited," Miles Harrington nodded appreciatively, then looked at Seraphina Redgrave, "And you, Student Shaw, what do you want to do in the future?"

Seraphina Redgrave was observing the intricate patterns on the teacup she held, truly befitting The Presidential Palace, even a cup was so exquisite.

She looked up at Miles Harrington and stated the ultimate purpose of her visit plainly, "I want to join The Law Council."

The Law Council.

The only institution in Z country with the authority to and legal regulations.

Once these words were spoken, the entire reception hall fell silent.

It was the first ti Beatrice Fawcett and others heard her express her ambition, and they all looked at her incredulously.

Miles Harrington sat there, his deep eyes blinking for a mont before laughing, "The Law Council?"

And she didn’t say she wishes to join, but rather that she will join, it seems her goal is resolute.

"The mbers of The Defiance Society truly each have ambitious aims, The Law Council... isn’t impossible, they do need fresh talent, I can help inquire about internship positions."

Miles Harrington smiled, "But even for an intern role, there will be nurous tests and evaluations, be prepared, it won’t be easy."

"I’m capable."

She feared nothing but tests.

However, getting into The Law Council requires qualifications, now with Miles Harrington providing access, she had confident assurance of succeeding.
