"As I see it, if you want to ta a horse, you have to watch Young Master Sterling; no matter how wild the temperant, once Young Master Sterling gets involved, it’ll behave obediently."

"Exactly, every ti Young Master Sterling tas a horse, I want to watch but dare not, afraid that the green turf of the paddock might be stained red."

"Take a break, Young Master Sterling." The executives wore ingratiating smiles as they approached, hoping to make an impression on the man.

The person on horseback at this mont was Ethan Sterling. He glanced at the group of people at the racetrack exit, then swiftly dismounted, tossing the riding crop to Nathan Ayers standing beside him.

Ethan Sterling took off his gloves and threw them to Nathan Ayers, ignoring those people and heading straight toward the parasol seating area of the racetrack.

The President, in full riding attire, sat there reading a notebook. Upon seeing Ethan Sterling, he gestured for a servant to adjust a chair and prepare drinks for Ethan.

Ethan Sterling was the most distinguished guest of the President.

In the strictly hierarchical Z Country, Ethan Sterling stood at the very pinnacle of power, holding imnse authority and controlling the economic lifeline of Z Country. Moreover, his temper was not particularly good, and no one knew what he was thinking. If anything went wrong, the entire country could descend into chaos.

Therefore, The Presidential Palace always treated him with great respect.

"You’ve managed to ta all my wild horses." The President smiled at Ethan Sterling, "Should I get you so fresh beasts from Africa?"

"No need."

Ethan Sterling lay back in the reclining chair, crossing his legs, with the riding attire emphasizing his physique.

"Don’t always be so engrossed in making money; one still needs so entertainnt." The President spoke as he personally poured tea for Ethan Sterling.

Ethan Sterling replied indifferently, "In my eyes, making money is just a form of entertainnt."

Recently, however, an even more interesting ga had erged.

Thinking of the Little Rose in Hibiscus Garden, Ethan Sterling couldn’t help the smile in his eyes, wondering when the sun would set so he could return.

The people nearby almost choked on their own blood listening. While you play gas, we’re genuinely risking our lives, nearly working ourselves to death just to earn a al from your hands.

The executives seated themselves around Ethan Sterling and the President.

"By the way, I’ve discovered sothing interesting recently." The President handed his laptop to Ethan Sterling. "Ethan, there’s been a student organization called The Defiance Society; have you heard about it?"

Ethan Sterling was about to sip the tea poured by the President but paused upon hearing this. A few seconds later, he resud, taking a sip of tea before asking, "What’s up?"

Soone nearby, being inford, quickly spoke, "I’ve heard about it; it’s been causing quite a stir online, but I didn’t expect even you, Mr. President, to have heard of it."

"Do you think I don’t check trending topics?"

The President smiled cryptically, "Soone even sent a letter to The Presidential Palace asking how I view the hierarchy in Z Country, if we’re allowing corporatocracy, and if placing Z Country’s future in the hands of a bunch of inept heirs is cutting off our nation’s future."

"It’s just student unrest," soone interjected. "I’ve read quite a bit of news on this; the leader seems to have the last na Shaw, wanting The Elite Society disbanded. Not soone easy to deal with; the school is powerless, and now she holds significant influence among the students, so the school doesn’t dare to do anything to her."

"It’s really interesting that even the President erging from The Elite Society would have soone questioning it."

"Winning a few exams and criticizing Z Country’s system just like that, as if lacking any sense."

Soone jumped in, disparaging Seraphina Redgrave while praising the President.

Ethan Sterling sat silently in his chair, sipping tea while listening, then glanced up, morizing them.

The three speakers, who had been so vocal earlier, suddenly found themselves speechless, as if fate had seized them by the throat.

How could it be?

"Ethan, are you aware of this? Any thoughts?"

The President refilled Ethan Sterling’s tea, smiling as he spoke.

Ethan Sterling sat in place, lightly tracing his fingers over the teacup before speaking after a long pause, "Living without any change is quite dull; watching a bit of lively activity can be nice now and then."

His voice was devoid of emotion, leaving it unclear if he was angry.

"That’s true, but this liveliness might not be small. If these students beco increasingly agitated, it could beco difficult to control." The President sighed.

Upon hearing this, soone imdiately responded, "How could that be possible? The Elite Society will not let a group of commoners win three tis in a row."

"Exactly, as long as The Elite Society prepares well for these three matches, the buzz will fade quickly. Commoners are too busy struggling day to day; they won’t have ti for such things."

For those at the top of the pyramid, student organizations were insignificant, re post-dinner conversation.

Ethan Sterling raised his cup, his gaze growing darker.

True to what he expected from his Little Rose, she had handled matters so well that even the President was alerted.

But the more capable she beca, the more people would dislike her; the third match wouldn’t be easy for her to win.

Sigh.

Indeed, she can’t do it without , can she?

Ethan Sterling smiled in his eyes, finishing his tea cleanly.

"Bang!"

In the office of The Elite Society’s president, Selena Quinn directly threw her phone aside. The intensity of her emotions was causing a sharp pain in her heart.

Her eyes were filled with reluctance and resentnt.

Why did Seraphina Redgrave have to oppose her, not satisfied with stealing Ethan Sterling, now setting up The Defiance Society against her?

It turned her into a laughingstock of Z Country; what exactly did Seraphina Redgrave want!

Caleb Crawford pushed the door open to see Selena Quinn standing painfully by the office door, walked over worriedly, and handed her a glass of water. "Drink so water."

He looked down at the still-lit phone on the floor displaying today’s trending topic.

He furrowed his brow and said, "All these trending topics are from students. You know you’re not in good health, so don’t upset yourself."

Seeing Caleb Crawford, Selena Quinn reined in the resentnt and hatred in her eyes, reverting to a fragile look, and sipped the water Caleb handed her. "I just feel sad seeing you guys getting criticized by netizens."

"But right now, you’re the one I’m most worried about."

Caleb Crawford helped Selena Quinn sit on the couch, gazing concernedly at her pale face. "You’re the president of The Elite Society; the one being attacked the most is also you. You’re bearing the burden for most of us."

Selena Quinn’s eyes reddened as she sat down.

"I ssed up this ti; I couldn’t lead The Elite Society to win the competition and instead let Sylvia Shaw garner attention, causing you to be criticized by netizens now." Caleb Crawford spoke regretfully.

"I’m fine; anyway, I won’t be this president for much longer."

Selena Quinn smiled bitterly.

"What do you an by that?" Caleb Crawford looked disapprovingly at Selena Quinn.

"So forr mbers of The Elite Society have co, saying my poor managent has tarnished their image." Selena Quinn said, "If The Defiance Society wins the third match, I’ll really have no face to manage The Elite Society anymore."
