Chapter 35: I don’t want to drink yogurt any more!

Translator: DragonRider

When he joined the fan club, the ‘special benefits’ column did say “the opportunity to get exclusive benefits of eting the idol”, but he thought that the probability would be too low and did not expect anything.

He had never thought he could be the lucky one. Rong Yi couldn’t help feeling thrilled.

But at the mont, he didn’t have anyone to share this happiness. His only friend with sa interest, Xiao Zhang, was working hard right now. He had asked for leave, so if he went to cheer for his good luck, he would mostly likely be despised.

Holding the tickets, Rong Yi circled in the room twice, but his head, still dizzy and not completely recovered from the fever yet, began to protest.

Rong Yi jumped onto the bed and gave the ticket a big kiss. Then he got his phone out to begin to arrange the schedule.

.

Having left Chen Keyao’s room and had long nap after the dicine, Rong Yi was well rested. When he woke up again, besides his sore and weak muscles, he was in pretty good spirit. His head was no longer dizzy, eyes were no longer having a fuzzy vision, the brain worked very well, and he was joyous.

He even felt well enough to prepare dinner by himself.

Walking out of his room, he heard the sound of cooking in the kitchen. Sister Lan had left, so it must be Chen Keyao.

Was this man really able to cook?

Rong Yi was very curious and asked as he walked in, “What kind of ‘cuisine from the dark side’ are you cooking?”

Next, his heart missed a beat.

Sister Lan turned around, smiling with a spatula in her hand, and said, “Ah, I seem to have burned this eggplant indeed.”

“Sorry, I thought...” Rong Yi was in a hurry to explain.

“He’s gone out,” said Sister Lan with a smile. “He said he’d be back by 4:30. Should be soon?”

“Well... Sister Lan,” Rong Yi hesitated for a mont, but still could not help asking, “Where are you staying tonight?”

“Yao Yao found a hotel nearby,” said Sister Lan. “You’re not in good health. Takeaways are not nutritious enough to help you recover, so I thought I’d co over and help you cook dinner in the afternoon.”

Rong Yi was completely moved.

“Sister Lan, I’m sorry. I took up your room and yet made you work so hard. I... ”

“Don’t ntion it. You have such a good relationship with Yao Yao, then we will be a family sooner or later,” said Sister Lan, smiling back at him. “You can take another rest. I’ll call you when dinner is ready.”

Throughout Rong Yi’s life, he had pretended to be another man’s boyfriend countless tis, but this was the first ti that he had such a guilty conscience.

Sister Lan was so perfect: gentle and beautiful, so considerate and so good at taking care of people; she was almost like a goddess. Deceiving an elder like this was making Rong Yi’s guilt swell to explosion.

But in addition to the moral struggle, he was also very confused.

Not long ago, he had t Chen Keyao’s father. Despite his apparently eye-catching good looks, the uncle’s personality was a bit sloppy and indecisive, but he was obviously a good-natured, mild person and not difficult to get along with.

In terms of appearances, they must have been so perfect for each other, a match made in heaven. Their marriage at a young age must have been seen as a heavenly blessing by many people at the ti.

There must have been a lot of people who felt sorry for their separation. What had made such a well-matched couple go separate ways?

Could it be that that handso uncle was actually a womaniser?

With that look, it was easy for him to fool any innocent young Ogas. If this was the case, Sister Lan must have suffered a lot of grievances.

It was not clear whether this playboy gene would be passed along. Although Chen Keyao did not seem to have any ssy relationships at the mont, nine tis out of ten, it was not because he did not want to, but because he could not.

After all, there were very few people who could accept sa-sex Alphas. Even if they did et by chance, still they might not be compatible with each other.

So, it was hard to say whether this guy was a Casanova or not.

For the ti being, he could be called Schr?dinger’sChen Keyao.

.

Rong Yi lay on the bed, trying to visualise. After a while, there was so noise coming from outside the door.

Soon, soone knocked on his door.

“How’s it going?” Chen Keyao leaned in half from the outside. “Are you feeling better?”

Rong Yi blinked at him, then raised his hand and motioned with his finger. “Co over here.”

Chen Keyao was very puzzled. He hesitated for a mont before he ca in. As he closed the door behind him, he looked nervous. Even his voice lowered a little unconsciously as he spoke.

“... What’s wrong?!

“Your dad, why hasn’t he been here lately?” Rong Yi asked in a low voice like a thief.

Chen Keyao had thought Rong Yi was going to say sothing unusual. Hearing this, he could not help laughing. “He’s certainly been coming here. It’s just whenever he ca, you were at work.”

“OK...”

“But I told him that Sister Lan was here, so he shouldn’t be coming here for a while.”

Rong Yi asked tentatively: “... Why? ”

“Because there is no need for them to et.” Chen Keyao said, shaking his head. ‘Don’t bother with this. Are you feeling better?’

As he was asking the question, he reached out naturally and put his palm on Rong Yi’s forehead.

“Looks like the fever has gone down.”

Rong Yi ducked his head carefully and was inexplicably nervous: “I just asured it and it was fine.”

“It’s really fast coming and going,” Chen Keyao said, finally reassured. “Dinner is not ready. Are you hungry now?”

“... I don’t want to drink yogurt any more!” Rong Yi shook his head vehently.

Chen Keyao imdiately laughed and said, “I bought you so snacks. Co out to eat them.”

.

He bought Rong Yi a small strawberry flavoured cake.

It tasted good, but it was uncomfortable to be stared at while eating.

Rong Yi was ill at ease: “... What are you doing? Isn’t there anything else for you to do?

Chen Keyao shook his head calmly: “No.”

“... Your editor is going to cry.” Rong Yi bowed his head and ate the cake without looking at him.

“Is it delicious? ” Chen Keyao asked.

Rong Yi still did not look up: “It’s Okay.”

“Um...” Chen Keyao thought for a mont, “I assud you would like strawberry flavour.”

“...”

It was not an illusion. This guy was definitely deliberately mocking him. If he responded, it would only give the opponent a chance to win.

But Rong Yi felt frustrated if he didn’t respond at all. Rong Yi stabbed two big strawberries on the cake with a fork, then raised his head and stared at Chen Keyao.

But the opponent did not care at all, still showing a very happy look.

“Why, don’t you like fresh strawberries? Let have them then.” With that said, Chen Keyao moved his face over and opened his mouth, “Ah -”

“...”

Rong Yi hesitated for a mont.

At that instant, he wanted to refuse, but when his eyes t Chen Keyao’s apparently smiling gaze, for so unknown reason, he picked up a strawberry and sent it into Chen Keyao’s mouth as if he had been chard.

When Chen Keyao lowered his eyes to bite the strawberry, Rong Yi’s arm trembled involuntarily.

He quickly drew back his hand, feeling rather nervous. He wanted to say sothing to conceal his emotions, but Chen Keyao suddenly frowned. Not only eyebrows, but the whole face was wrinkled.

“Wow... Why is it so icy cold,” he chewed bitterly, “And it’s so sour! My teeth are going to go all soft. ”

“You wanted to eat it yourself.”

Rong Yi bowed down his head and lifted the rest of the cake into his own mouth, then stood up and dashed back to his room, closing the door behind him.

Most of the big strawberries on cakes were not delicious.

But the cakes themselves were sweet, Rong Yi liked them very much. He did have a preference for strawberry flavour.

.

Chen Keyao always liked to feed him before dinner. That was a bad habit.

When he got to the dining table where there were a whole table of dishes that Sister Lan had cooked for him in particular, Rong Yi had no stomach space for them again. But in order not to let Sister Lan down, he decided to stuff them in anyway.

For so reason, Chen Keyao, who ate only one strawberry, did not seem to have a good appetite either.

Rong Yi secretly suspected that he had been pouring yoghurt down his throat again. After all, there were only a few hours to go before the expiry date, and there seed to be a whole pack left in the refrigerator. Halfway through his thinking, he suddenly realized that from yesterday to now, they had actually finished two large packs of yoghurt.

Chen Keyao might turn himself into yoghurt flavoured.

So if I kiss him now, will he …?

Rong Yi was frightened by his own thought and blushed imdiately after he ca back to his senses.

Eat your food and think of nothing.

He took a big mouthful of rice. As soon as he looked up, he found Chen Keyao looking at him.

Before Rong Yi had ti to feel embarrassed about his less than elegant dining behaviour, he saw Chen Keyao’s face turning rather pale.

“Oh well,” Chen Keyao put down his bowls and chopsticks, “I have sothing to attend to, you two take your ti.”

He walked quickly back to his room, leaving Rong Yi feeling confused and Sister Lan worried.

“He doesn’t seem very well either,” said Sister Lan, frowning. “Could it be that he went out late last night without enough clothes and caught a cold?”

“Huh?” Rong Yi’s mouth was full of food. He couldn’t speak very well, so he only questioned with his expression.

“It seems he’s been on the verge of vomiting since just now. I saw him standing in front of the sink in a daze when I was looking for him.” Sister Lan frowned worriedly. “When I asked him if he’s sick, he said no.”

“...”

Rong Yi didn’t know what to say.

He wasn’t sure if Chen Keyao was sick this ti because of himself. After all, after feeding him strawberries, he went back to his room imdiately and there was no interaction between them.

Surely it must be due to a real stomach discomfort?

Too much yogurt?

.

After dinner, Rong Yi was still not very relaxed about Chen Keyao’s health status, so he ran to knock on his door.

Chen Keyao was sweating profusely on his multi-functional treadmill.

He looked too energetic to be unwell at all.

Rong Yi looked at the sweat on his cheeks and neck, as well as the T-shirts that were clinging to his body because of the sweat, which exposed his body shape, and his heart flustered as if he were going to have a car accident.

He rubbed his hands behind his back as he spoke.

“... You are exercising right after dinner? It is not good for digestion, is it?”

“Should be okay. I haven’t eaten much...” Chen Keyao’s eyes twinkled, “What’s up?”

“Nothing, I just wanted to ask you why you didn’t eat much.”

“I’ve had too much yogurt,” Chen Keyao took the towel next to him and wiped his face. “I’ll eat later when I’m hungry.”

“... Oh, “Rong Yi nodded. “Oh well, exercising with an empty stomach is not very good either.”

He racked his brains to co up with more words, but suddenly he saw Chen Keyao laughing.

“Why are you worried about ?” Chen Keyao said. “I see you lie in bed every day when you’ve had dinner after work. No wonder your immunity system is so weak that you get sick with just a little influence.”

“...”

Sick! And wasn’t it you who made sick?

I co here to show my care about you, and this was how you talk to ? What a big-breasted brainless idiot!

Rong Yi complained in his heart but still glanced at Chen Keyao secretly to confirm whether his chest was big or not. But with the T-shirt in-between, he couldn’t see clearly.

So that made him feel even more frustrated.
