Eleanor Valerius couldn’t break free from Sebastian Ford’s grip.

In the next mont, she threw the room card far away, unable to avoid anymore, and looked up at Sebastian, saying, "I know Jenson and Sharon are inside, are you satisfied? In my view, this is just a minor thing."

She couldn’t let him find out her reason for manipulating him.

Sebastian sneered.

"Is this the happiness you look forward to marrying into the Lancaster Family? How magnanimous."

"I’m fully aware of my own status. As long as I end up as Mrs. Lancaster, nothing else matters."

Eleanor pretended to be calm as she said, "Actually, I have wronged Jenson too. I’ve had other n outside, but that’s in the past. I can also tolerate other won in his bed."

"In the past?"

Sebastian pressed Eleanor against the door, pinching her face, his voice dangerous: "You’re really playing with ."

"I’ve explained that night was just an accident, a mistake I made before marriage. I didn’t want it to affect my wedding."

Eleanor hid her fear of him, smiling sweetly with her dangerous words.

"Facing such a perfect man like you, of course, I would get lost and covet. But that night you reminded , and I reflected on myself. I don’t want the misunderstanding between us to deepen; I want to show my stance. What I want is to beco Mrs. Lancaster."

Eleanor’s calm attitude was to cut things off with him.

She had enough!

Sebastian raised an eyebrow, smiling with looming danger.

"Fine, I’ll grant your wish."

He was angry that Eleanor provoked him and then wanted to run away.

"Thank you, Master Ford."

Eleanor stood frozen there, watching him leave, with lingering fear.

Truly, it’s a Ford Family hotel; the soundproofing is excellent.

She couldn’t hear what was inside, and they couldn’t hear their conversation outside.

Otherwise, it wouldn’t be her catching Jenson and Sharon, but Jenson catching her and Sebastian.

Waiting for Jenson and Sharon to finish in their room and co back.

Eleanor had already chosen the wedding venue.

Indeed, the expense went under Master Ford’s account, which pleased Jenson greatly.

Leaving from there, Eleanor smiled happily.

At the second-floor terrace.

Sebastian watched Eleanor from above.

"Want to marry into a wealthy family? How could your lover bear to let you go?"

His eyes were filled with angry obsession.

No woman dared to play and provoke him, nor was anyone beyond his control.

Eleanor wanted marriage; he was intent on ruining her wedding.

That’s the revenge of a spurned lover who gets nothing!

...

Valerius Family.

Regina Jennings brought over a dress and jewelry.

"You go to the Ford Family dinner tonight. I have a party and can’t make it. The old master won’t be there, it’s just the younger generation of the Ford Family. Rember not to embarrass the Valerius Family."

"Okay, I understand."

Eleanor felt a vague unease, worried that it was a setup by Sebastian.

Arriving at the Ford Family.

The vast garden restaurant was bustling with a buffet party.

It’s said that Eldest Miss Ford, Sophia Ford’s children, had returned from abroad.

Eleanor felt out of place, not wanting to greet anyone, as nobody from the Ford Family welcod her.

And she didn’t dare linger, trying to avoid Sebastian.

Then, she took a sip of wine and pretended to feel unwell to leave early.

To act, one must perform the full suite.

As Eleanor stumbled, stepping on her gown’s hem, pretending to fall.

Suddenly, a pair of arms reached out from behind to support her.

"How co you’re drunk, Eleanor?"

Hearing the oily voice, Eleanor imdiately frowned and dodged.

She turned, taking careful steps back, politely replied, "Cousin, I’m fine."

Julian Ford was the son of Eldest Miss Ford, similar in age to her.

When she and Julia Ford used to compete, Julian always used the excuse of protecting his sister to deliberately get close to her.

But Eleanor knew well that Julian truly wanted to bully her.

It wasn’t childish antics among relatives but a man’s hidden malicious intent toward a woman.

"Long ti no see, I heard you’re getting married?"

Being a playboy, Julian always had won around him, but he was most persistent about his cousin by marriage, who was becoming more and more beautiful.

The reputation of Valerius daughters in Aethelgard was well known, and he regretted not making a move on Eleanor earlier.

Even if she was a socialite, this seemingly pure appearance could indeed be enticingly wild.

"Yes, I am engaged."

Eleanor watched him warily, "Cousin, I’m feeling a bit unwell. I’ll head ho first."

"If you’re not feeling well, it’s dangerous to go alone. Let take you ho."

Julian guessed she’d refuse, imdiately putting on a stern face and said, "If you refuse , you’re not treating as a cousin. We’re family, I treat Julia the sa, co, let help you."

"No need..."

Eleanor didn’t want his touch, just about to dodge, but ended up tripped by him deliberately.

She couldn’t stand steadily, and Julian seized the mont to grip her arm.

"Don’t be shy, I’ll take you ho."

Julian harshly squeezed Eleanor’s arm, and if it weren’t for the fact they were at the Ford Family’s place, he might not have been able to restrain himself.

Eleanor felt sick from his touch.

In the Ford Family estate, she had to be mindful of her identity and didn’t dare openly offend Julian.

"I can walk myself, cousin, you should go back to accompany Julia."

As the two tangled, a tall figure walked over slowly.

"What are you doing?"

Eleanor froze.

Suddenly, Julian hurriedly let go and explained seriously, "Uncle, you’re back. I saw Eleanor seed unwell, and she insisted I take her ho personally."

Eleanor: "..."

How dare he complain first?

How could Sebastian possibly believe him?

She looked up, inadvertently eting Sebastian’s cold gaze, realizing he didn’t believe her.

Eleanor suddenly laughed.

"Yes, I wanted cousin to take ho, but he had no ti. Uncle, can you take ho?"

Being misunderstood didn’t matter.

She wanted to get rid of Julian; compared to him, Sebastian’s danger was less embarrassing.

Upon hearing this, Julian imdiately objected, "How could uncle have ti to take you? Let ..."

"Alright, I’ll take you."

Sebastian cut off Julian’s attempt to refuse.

Having been cut off by his uncle, Julian felt disappointed yet continued to eye Eleanor with reluctance.

Eleanor took a barely discernible deep breath.

Who would have thought she’d end up in Sebastian’s car while trying to avoid him?

After getting in, Sebastian didn’t speak, remaining quiet all the way.

Her mother wasn’t ho, and the car stopped directly at the house entrance.

"Thank you for driving ho."

Eleanor smiled, eager to get out and run.

But, the door was locked and wouldn’t open.

"Looking for a new benefactor?"

Sebastian’s dangerous voice pressed down from behind, making it hard for her to breathe.

"Eleanor Valerius, I warn you, don’t ss around with the Ford Family."

"But it’s only you I ssed around with in the Ford Family."

Eleanor didn’t expect he’d really misunderstand, but she wouldn’t explain.

She didn’t care what others thought of her.

"You needn’t worry. After I marry, I’ll abide by propriety and virtue, and won’t fool around anymore."

Just then.

Sharon happened to co by the Valerius Family, taking a glance at the luxury car parked outside.

Sebastian noticed Sharon approaching, suddenly pressing Eleanor to kneel on the seat.

"Master Ford!? What are you doing!"

Eleanor didn’t anticipate his sudden move.

However, he didn’t undress her.

"You might not even marry as smoothly as you think."

Sebastian pressed her from behind, seemingly intimate but with no real intent.

In the next mont, he lowered the rear window.

Eleanor was forced by him to bump her head against the car window.

She suddenly looked up, seeing Sharon standing at a distance with wide eyes.

"Eleanor Valerius and her lover ssing around in the car?! Finally caught them!"

Sharon hurriedly took out her phone, aiming to snap evidence.
