"Lili..."
Song Jiayu was taken aback.
Song Lili just smiled at Song Jiayu and said earnestly, "I’ve set aside my past stubbornness, and you should let go of your so-called debts. You are my dad, and I am your daughter. Although I may not be able to greet Miu Lerong and her daughter with a smile, I will try my best not to make things difficult for you, Dad."
"So... when it’s just the two of us, without them, can we not always talk about them?"
Song Lili pleaded with a look of entreaty.
What more could Song Jiayu ask for?
He eagerly nodded and agreed!
Song Lili was still smiling and even yawned,
"I’m going to sleep for a bit; wake up when we get ho, okay?"
"Alright."
Song Lili leaned against her father and closed her eyes as soon as her head tilted.
Looking out the window, Song Jiayu watched the turbid tears well up in his old eyes.

Upon arriving at the Song Family ho, the driver took down Lili’s luggage and brought it into the house.
It happened to be a Sunday, so Song You wasn’t at school, and Song Xiangqiao wasn’t at work.
"Xiao Li, you’re finally ho! Put down your luggage, wash your hands, and co have sothing to eat. Knowing you were coming ho today, I imdiately had the kitchen prepare a few of your favorite snacks!"
Miu Lerong hurriedly said.
"No need, let Xiao You and Song Xiangqiao have them."
"Big sister..."
Song You called out to Lili, and Song Lili looked at him, only to hear him say,
"The snacks are really tasty."
"...Well, so you have them."
"If sister doesn’t want to eat, that’s fine, co and sit for a bit. The journey must have been tiring, right?"
Song Xiangqiao said hastily.
Song Lili glanced at the family and then went straight to take a seat.
"Big sister, you must have seen a lot of interesting things on your trip, right? Could you tell about them?"
Song You walked around to Song Lili’s side, looking up at her.
Song Lili looked at Song You, who resembled their father more than Miu Lerong did, like a grown-up version of Tang Xiaocao.
She didn’t dislike Song You as much, perhaps partly because they were related by blood, and Song You also tried to be close to her, even though she barely paid him any attention.
"I’ll tell you about it when I have ti."
Song You pouted and muttered, "But I want to hear it now..."
Song Lili ignored him and said directly,
"Can you get Dad’s dical report? He’s been coughing so badly, we can’t just let it drag on like this."
She addressed Miu Lerong.
Miu Lerong stood up to fetch it, then handed it to Song Lili,
"Your dad wasn’t this stubborn when he was younger. Now that he’s old, he’s truly beco an obstinate old man, causing so much worry..."
Song Lili opened Song Jiayu’s dical report and frowned after just a couple of pages. She quickly flipped through it and then looked at Song Jiayu,
"You’ve only been to the hospital once?"
Faced with Song Lili’s questioning gaze, Song Jiayu hurriedly laughed it off, "I’m too busy normally, where would I find the ti to go to the hospital..."
"But you are the mayor; can’t you just have a doctor co to your house? Don’t you know how severe this quarter’s viral flu outbreak has been?"
Song Lili was getting annoyed. She turned to Miu Lerong,
"Call the family doctor and have soone co over to treat Dad right now!"
Suddenly being commanded by Song Lili, Miu Lerong felt a mix of emotions and couldn’t lash out despite her upset.
"Sister Lili, please don’t rush."
As soon as Song Xiangqiao spoke up, Song Lili’s cold stare had already shifted toward her.
