Chapter 211: Chapter 211: Change the Line_1

Shanshan, following her mory, arrived on the first floor. She rembered that when she went with Uncle Su Ran to look for the bathroom, it was the sisters at the reception desk they had asked.

So she rembered quite clearly, figured out the direction, and then took a step towards the right. Sure enough, after only a few steps, she saw the large reception desk.

With just one glance, she saw Su Ran standing beside the counter, looking anxious, still on the phone and talking nonstop.

She thought, he must be asking soone if they had found her.

She couldn’t help but pout; her independence was very strong, okay? Why did they always have to be so nervous? It was really so dull…

Thinking this way, she proceeded with little steps towards the direction of the reception desk. Su Ran had just hung up the phone when, out of the corner of his eye, he saw the Little Witch, innocently widening her eyes and batting them continuously at him.

He abruptly let out a sigh of relief, and his heart finally settled back into place.

“Shanshan…”

Su Ran strode over to her.

“Uncle Ran, I’m okay now–”

Su Ran was so frustrated. They had almost gone crazy searching for her, and this little one still had an impatient expression. What kind of karma had he created to be tornted by this Little Witch every day!

“Shanshan, you must not be so naughty next ti, do you understand? What if you had run into a bad person?” Su Ran said with deep concern, then let out a helpless sigh, feeling that ever since Wanxia had their child, he had turned into an old mother, his heart broken with worry every day.

“I didn’t run into any bad people, Uncle Ran, so rest assured–” she cheekily said, secretly rejoicing in her heart.

She hadn’t encountered any bad people; instead, she had t her daddy, which was really a big surprise.

Thinking of this, her little face suddenly crumpled. She had left in such a hurry earlier that she forgot to ask her daddy for his contact information. What if she couldn’t find him in the future?

The little one imdiately beca distressed in her heart–

Su Ran helplessly massaged his forehead. The Little Witch didn’t even know what a bad person ant. In Canada, every ti they went out, soone followed her secretly, and there was always soone to report her whereabouts promptly.

But now it was different; they were in C City, not in Ottawa, and there weren’t as many people following her. What if soone abducted such a cute little girl?

Weren’t there enough missing children out there already?

“Shanshan, let

make this clear in advance; if before your mommy arrives, you continue this kind of behavior, I will tell her about all the misdeeds you’ve committed… When that happens, if your mommy punishes or scolds you, Uncle won’t intervene…”

Everyone, including the old Master Su, she was not afraid of; their words held no threat to her, and old Master Su wished to spoil the Little Witch to the skies.

So it was only Wanxia’s words that she dared not disobey.

This little girl was clever indeed—

“I know I was wrong, Uncle Ran, please, don’t tell mommy, okay? I promise to be good and obedient from now on–”

Shanshan clung to Su Ran’s pants, looking at him with pitiful eyes.

Su Ran sighed helplessly; it was always this line, couldn’t she change the script?

“Shanshan, can we change the phrase? Uncle is tired of hearing these sa words until his ears have calluses…”

Shanshan pouted her little mouth and blinked a couple of tis.

“Then what should I do?”

“If you don’t behave, after we go back, you’ll have to study and do your howork seriously every day just like your brother Yaoyao: no slacking off, no pretending–” Su Ran laid out a whole bunch of conditions to her little face.

Shanshan felt like crying for real this ti. To be like Yaoyao? No, that would not be fun at all, not in the slightest.

Seeing her face scrunch up like a bun, Su Ran was suddenly very moved.

He just didn’t understand. They ca from the sa womb, so why was there such a big difference in their personalities?

“What do you think? Otherwise, when your mommy cos, I might just tell her you made a mistake again today—”

Shanshan imdiately panicked, pouted, and nodded reluctantly.

“Alright then–” She knew her mommy’s thods all too well and certainly didn’t want to experience them firsthand again.

“Hmm, it’s settled then, from now on, you must stick right by Uncle’s side.”

“Hmm.” She nodded gloomily.

“Didn’t you say you were here to choose gifts? Where are the gifts?” Su Ran chuckled as he looked at her.

Shanshan stamped her little foot at once: “Oh no, I forgot~~” As soon as she saw daddy earlier, she had completely forgotten about it.

Su Ran shook his head, helplessly took her small hand.

“Let’s go, we’ll pick them out now.”

Shanshan’s face lit up with a smile: “Okay, Uncle Ran, you are the best–”

“I’m not falling for your tricks.”

After choosing the gifts, Shanshan sat in the car very satisfied, following Su Ran.

“Uncle Ran, how far is it to Grandma and Grandpa’s house—”

“It’s not far, we’ll arrive in fifteen minutes–” He rembered it wasn’t far.

“Oh—” Shanshan nodded in understanding, then asked with confusion: “Then when will Mommy co?”

“Your mommy will co to find us after she’s finished with her work there–so you have to behave–” Su Ran couldn’t help but remind her again.

“Hmm, I know~~” Shanshan nodded obediently.

When they arrived at the destination, she didn’t wait for Su Ran to open the door for her; she happily opened the car door herself and climbed down.

Then, carrying her bunny-eared backpack, she trotted towards the front gate.

“Be careful… don’t fall down–” Su Ran reminded her while taking the gifts.

Without looking back, Shanshan acknowledged and excitedly ran to the door, repeatedly trying but failing to reach the doorbell.

She furrowed her little nose in frustration, raised her hand, and began to knock persistently on the door.

“Grandpa, Grandma, hurry and open up, Shanshan is here to see you~~” Her young, clear voice was especially pleasant to hear.

It made Su Ran, who was following behind, burst into a soft laughter.

The door was quickly opened, and the kind and friendly face of Mrs. Su appeared.

When she looked down and saw the little figure outside the door, she was so excited that she was at a loss for words.

“Grandma…” Shanshan sweetly called out.

Mrs. Su’s eyes imdiately reddened; she knelt down and hugged her little body without hesitation.

“Shanshan, Grandma has missed you so much… ”

Mrs. Su’s heart was filled with mixed emotions. Although Wanxia hadn’t been able to co back over the years, she often called them and let Shanshan and Yaoyao video chat with them; she was truly comforted.

Now that she had finally seen her precious granddaughter coming to see her, her heart was overwheld with emotions.

“Where is Yaoyao? Didn’t your mommy say you all would co back together?” Mrs. Su looked outside, and besides Su Ran approaching, she didn’t see the expected people.

“Yaoyao and Mommy went to the United States to take care of so business. They’ll co to see us after all the work is done–” She blinked her eyes and answered Mrs. Su’s question adorably, looking as cute as can be.
