Chapter 187: Chapter 187 Drowning Sorrows in Alcohol Only Multiplies the Sorrows_1

After Mu Yingchen left, Su Wanxia imdiately collapsed onto the ground, powerless. She raised her hand, looking at the delicate ring on her finger, and suddenly laughed through her tears. The crystalline tears silently slid down, dropping onto the dazzling, shining diamond.

As she looked at the diamond that seed even brighter, she couldn’t help but recall her mother’s words to her, “If one day your fate with him truly ends, then it’s ti to let go…”

Has it really ended? Is it really ti to let go?

At this thought, her tears flowed even more violently—

She couldn’t bring herself to say those words to him, nor did she want to say them again, because she was in even more pain than him!

She slowly removed the ring from her finger and then stood up, walking to the bedside. She drooped her eyes and stared at the ring in her hand for a while before gently setting it on top of it.

She gave it one last fond look, then woodenly turned around and left the place that belonged to him—

Mu Feng, Ji Hua, and Mu Chuyang were scared out of their wits during this ti.

At first, they thought that Mu Yingchen’s proposal to Su Wanxia was unsuccessful, so he was wearing a long face.

One day, his expression suddenly turned frighteningly cold, as if he was about to explode in anger at any mont.

But the scariest mont was yet to co. The next day, they suddenly saw Secretary Aisha looking terrified, telling them to go see what had happened in the president’s office.

Realizing sothing was wrong, they rushed to the president’s office imdiately. Just as they approached the door, they heard a crashing sound, like soone smashing things, coming from inside.

Everyone imdiately froze at the doorway, not daring to utter a sound, afraid to disturb Mu Yingchen who was in the midst of his anger inside.

The three of them shook their heads worriedly, certain that this had sothing to do with Wanxia.

But what exactly had happened to make their eldest brother lose his temper like this in the office was unheard of. Even when Wanxia had broken up with him before, he had never shown this kind of violent behavior, thrashing things around.

Could it be that the situation was more severe than the last ti?

“Could it be that Wanxia has fallen for soone else?” Mu Chuyang mumbled as he stared blankly at the door.

“What are you talking about!” Ji Hua imdiately knocked on his head.

“What’s wrong with ? I’m just speculating,” Mu Chuyang said, rubbing his head.

Ji Hua lowered his voice, “Be careful with what you say. If our eldest brother hears you, it won’t just be objects getting thrown, but you as well!”

Chastened by Ji Hua’s words, Mu Chuyang imdiately shut his mouth.

Mu Feng frowned and thought for a mont, “We should still not go inside. Let him vent his anger until he calms down naturally.”

“But, what if he does sothing rash in his despair?” Ji Hua worried.

“The eldest brother is smashing things, not himself—” Mu Chuyang muttered again.

“You—” Ji Hua retorted, pointing a finger at him displeasedly.

Mu Chuyang imdiately clamd up.

A few minutes passed, and sure enough, the office quieted down. After all, they knew Mu Yingchen’s personality to so extent.

He usually had a good temper and would rarely lose it. He must have been too angry today and couldn’t control himself, which led to the rampage.

The three were pressing their ears against the door, eavesdropping for any sound inside, when the door suddenly opened, making them jump. They stepped back two paces, holding their breath as they watched Mu Yingchen standing at the doorway, looking composed.

Possibly because he had just vented his inner rage, his face didn’t look as bad as usual.

“Heh heh—brother—” Ji Hua laughed awkwardly.

“Have soone clean up inside,” Mu Yingchen ordered without acknowledging him, giving a faint instruction to Aisha standing on the side.

“Yes,” Aisha responded, also slightly shaken.

Taking advantage of the mont, Ji Hua and Mu Chuyang stretched their heads to peek inside, imdiately wide-eyed in astonishnt.

The first thing that t my eyes was a ss, everything on the office desk had vanished, and scattered all over the floor lain silently, computer keyboards and such were all smashed to pieces.

My god! My big brother’s destructive power is just too strong!

What on earth happened, what did occur?

“Co on, join

for a drink!” Mu Yingchen said to Mu Feng as he started walking ahead.

All three raised their eyebrows simultaneously, was this a bid to drown his sorrows in alcohol?

Mu Feng followed without another word, while Mu Chuyang murmured softly as he watched the two figures, “Drowning sorrows in alcohol only adds to the sorrow!”

“Let’s go!” Ji Hua heard him and fiercely patted his shoulder, then dragged him in the direction of Mu Yingchen and the others.

It was only after all three had vanished from the office area that Bai Yudie erged from the secretary’s office, she glanced at the president’s office and suddenly, a triumphant smile curled up the corners of her mouth.

Mu Feng thought Mu Yingchen was going to take them to Yei, but he actually led them to a bar that was closer.

The three were surprised; their big brother didn’t like noisy places like this. He must have been overly agitated today, to co here of all places!

Mu Yingchen sat silently at the bar, gripping his drink and downing it continuously, a row of empty glasses lined up in front of him.

It was really one cup after another, drinking as if it were water.

“You can’t drink anymore–” Mu Feng reached out to stop his hand as he picked up another glass.

Mu Yingchen glanced at him, “I asked you to co to drink, don’t spoil the fun–” His voice had lost its usual calm restraint.

“If there’s sothing bothering you, you can tell us. Don’t keep it bottled up inside. Drinking like this will only make you more annoyed–”

Mu Yingchen let out a deep breath, “Drink!”

Then he pushed away his hand and picked up the glass to continue his heavy drinking.

The bar’s crowd was naturally open and enthusiastic, casually flirting around, especially with the three extraordinarily dashing handso n.

Three scantily clad beauties giggled as they approached.

“Handso, wanna join us for a drink? Boring with just three guys drinking together–” one of them stared straight at Mu Yingchen, her voice soft and seductive.

“Go away, go play on your own, I’m annoyed.” Mu Chuyang frowned as he looked at the three and spoke out.

“What’s troubling the gentleman? How about you let us sisters join you for a drink…” she said and leaned towards Mu Yingchen on her own.

Just as she was about to stick to Mu Yingchen, Ji Hua and the others watched the scene with alarm.

Certainly, his big brother wouldn’t montarily lose it and let them join–

“Sit!” Mu Yingchen suddenly turned his face and looked at her squarely, his eyes briefly glancing at the seat beside him.

The woman had always been looking at his profile, but when she fully saw what he looked like, her eyes widened in amazent. Such a stunning man, truly a rarity to find–

She was delighted and cheerfully took a seat on the swivel chair beside Mu Yingchen.

Mu Feng and the others grew anxious at the scene; his big brother must definitely be drunk–

“What’s troubling you, sir?” the woman asked sweetly, as the other two won also closed in.

“Yes, what’s bothering you? Tell us so we can help dispel your worries…”

Mu Yingchen looked up at them briefly and then asked the woman beside him, “What do you think–how am I?”

The woman chuckled, her face a picture of timid admiration, “The gentleman is handso and charming with an extraordinary temperant, certainly the type of man we dream of!”
