I can’t fathom what exactly caused Mrs. Whitlock to suffer from such a severe heart sickness.

Though heart sickness may sound trivial, most people don’t take it seriously; it’s the sort of malady with no cure, like stubborn vines that cling tightly, accompanying soone for a lifeti.

The agony it causes is no less than other serious ailnts.

Sutton Jennings silently stood beside Ann Vaughn, like a guardian angel.

Mrs. Whitlock raised her eyes to et hers, "You’re the first doctor who knows my symptoms without checking the pulse."

"However, what I seek isn’t a cure, but a child."

No wonder all those doctors said that unless a miracle happens, it’s impossible.

Ann Vaughn looked at her and honestly said, "Mrs. Whitlock, you lost several pregnancies when you were young, harming your body fundantally, making it almost impossible to conceive."

"The previous doctors have all said these words." Mrs. Whitlock closed her eyes, her breath faint, "If it’s not possible, then please leave."

"I can give it a try."

Upon hearing these words, Mrs. Whitlock instantly opened her eyes, looking at Ann Vaughn with a touch of eagerness, "What did you say?"

Ann Vaughn nodded, took out paper and pen, and wrote down a prescription, "You’ve hard the roots, and now with heart sickness, if your body isn’t regulated, no matter how many years pass, it will be difficult to conceive."

"Drink the dicine according to the prescription, then combine it with needle therapy, and after your body is well nourished, you will surely fulfill your wish within a year."

Mrs. Whitlock held the thin prescription, a bit skeptical, "You’re... not deceiving ?"

Such "surely you’ll conceive" words have been spoken by other doctors before, but no matter the treatnt, she hasn’t been able to bear a single child.

So doctors even suggested IVF, and she chased them out.

"Mrs. Whitlock might not rember . A few months ago at the Hawthorne Family tea party, you accepted a cup of tea from ." Ann Vaughn smiled faintly, eting her gaze frankly.

The Hawthorne Family tea party?

Instantly Mrs. Whitlock recalled, sowhat enlightened, "So it was you, the Mrs. Hawthorne with outstanding tea artistry."

The Hawthorne family’s renown is no less than that of the Whitlock family, so they wouldn’t co to cheat her out of money.

This ans the girl truly has the ability to help her.

"Mrs. Hawthorne, as long as you can make a mother again, no matter what you want, the Whitlock Family can satisfy you." Mrs. Whitlock grasped Ann Vaughn’s hand, a few traces of hope on her weary face.

"Mr. Jennings, I’m going to perform needle therapy on Mrs. Whitlock. Can you help by standing guard outside to prevent any disturbances?" Ann Vaughn nodded, then addressed Sutton Jennings next to her.

Sutton Jennings nodded slightly, stepped out of the room, and the servant in the room also left at Mrs. Whitlock’s nod.

After he left, Ann Vaughn had Mrs. Whitlock prepare and began the needle therapy.

Before long, Mrs. Whitlock felt as if a full energy was flowing through her body, the comfort it brought to the places it passed was simply beyond words.

Since losing the last child, she began to collapse entirely, clearly not yet forty, yet completely unable to muster any vigor.

Especially after learning she would never bear children in this lifeti.

The blow was too dreadful for a woman, causing her to lose the will to live, if not for her husband, she might have already let go and departed.

But until today, Mrs. Whitlock suddenly had a feeling that this girl could help her.

Half an hour passed, Ann Vaughn withdrew the needles, and imdiately the door slamd open.

"What did you do to my wife? I heard from the housekeeper that people weren’t allowed inside for half an hour already, what are you trying to do?!"
