The flowing and delightful music from the guzheng resonated like a stream as Ann Vaughn’s delicate fingers plucked each string, filling the space with the lody of "Butterfly Loves Flowers," enchanting everyone present.

Midway, when the client requested a change of instrunt from guzheng to konghou, Ann’s performance showed no signs of unfamiliarity and remained skillful and dexterous at every note.

After each piece, she would receive applause from the crowd.

"Annie, you did great tonight. Tomorrow evening’s opening instrunt will be the piano. If all goes well, I’ll be able to promote you in three days," said the manager of Aurelia, a woman with a doll-like face who’s fashionably and maturely dressed, smiling warmly.

"Thank you, manager. I will do my best," Ann Vaughn’s face blushed slightly, her fingers trembling from playing for such a long ti, but she paid it no mind.

When she was little, every ti she finished morizing a dical book, her grandfather would teach her a musical instrunt. He always demanded excellence in everything she did, so even though she had no talent in music theory, she would strive to et his expectations.

Fortunately, her strict self-discipline proved useful today.

"Oh no, Old Master Church has fainted!"

"It’s a sudden stroke, hurry up and call an ambulance!"

Just then, a group of people gathered in the corridor ahead, panicked voices reached from that direction.

"Old Master Church?!" As soon as the manager heard these words, her expression changed imdiately, disregarded Ann Vaughn’s presence, and ran towards the commotion in her high heels.

Ann Vaughn’s focus, however, was caught by the words "sudden stroke." Without thinking much, she followed them.

The place was a ss, everyone was pushing and shoving, and Ann Vaughn managed to squeeze in, seeing the old man on the ground with occasional facial convulsions, she shouted, "Everyone move back, too many people are cutting off the fresh air which is not good for the patient!"

But no one paid her any mind, except an elite man standing by Old Master Church who glanced at her and instructed people to clear the surrounding area.

"The ambulance will take at least twenty minutes to arrive, this person is too weak, I’m afraid they can’t wait that long." Ann Vaughn softly took Old Master Church’s pulse, who was already semiconscious, and with a flick of her slender fingers, a few Golden Needles appeared.

Before the elite man could stop her, he saw Ann Vaughn’s hand stabbing the Golden Needles into Old Master Church’s head!

There was a chorus of gasps around them, and people looked at Ann Vaughn with pity and ridicule, as if she wouldn’t live long.

"Nonsense!" The elite man suddenly grabbed Ann Vaughn’s wrist, sternly shouting, "Do you have any idea who Old Master Church is? If anything happens to him, you’ll all go down with him!"

Ann Vaughn frowned and shook off his hand, discontentedly saying, "I don’t know who he is, I only know that he is my patient now. If you don’t want him to really die, you’d better not interfere with !"

"You!" The elite man’s face beca even darker, seeing that Ann Vaughn still continued, wanting to stop but fearing that the Golden Needles in her hand might harm Old Master Church, he cursed angrily.

How could such a young girl be a doctor? Even if she was a doctor, no doctor would stick such long thin needles into people’s heads!

Ann Vaughn ignored him. If there were experts present, they’d surely notice that although her needlework seed chaotic, it had reached a state of perfection.

Ten minutes later, Ann Vaughn finished with the last Golden Needle.

The paralyzed Old Master Church lying on the ground with a crooked mouth gradually regained clarity in his eyes, and he even recovered his ability to move.

"Old Master Church!" The elite man hurried to assist him, "The ambulance will be here soon, just hold on a bit longer!"

"Hehe, I’ve never felt this light and comfortable in my life, I’m quite well, what’s the point of calling an ambulance? Can’t you wish a bit of good fortune?"
