The next evening, Felicity Sterling dressed up again and again at the Walsh Family ho before heading out.

Before she left, she passed through the Walsh Family living room and saw Mrs. Walsh chatting with Elliot Walsh, with nurous pieces of jewelry laid out in front of them.

Mrs. Walsh invited her to pick out so jewelry. Felicity glanced at the coffee table. Gleaming, all of it was gold.

She didn’t notice the jade bracelet next to the gold.

"Grandma, sorry, I have plans with a friend, I need to leave now."

Felicity had to deal with Mrs. Walsh.

This household was under the old lady’s control. If she didn’t care for Elliot, Elliot might not even get any shares of the Walsh Family. Then, Felicity and Elliot would be left to fend for themselves.

"Felicity."

Elliot Walsh stood up and walked over to Felicity, "Let drive you there."

Thinking of Elliot’s rundown car, especially with her date with Ethan Grant, she declined.

"No need, I called a cab myself."

"Grandma!" Felicity looked at Mrs. Walsh sitting there, "I’m leaving now."

With that, she didn’t even glance at Elliot and walked straight out of the Walsh Family ho.

"Is she always like that to you?"

Mrs. Walsh watched Felicity leave and asked Elliot Walsh with a calm voice.

For Felicity, the old lady was satisfied not because of her status, but mainly because of Elliot Walsh.

Among the younger generation, Elliot was the one she cherished the most.

She had been pleased with Felicity before and was upset by The Sterling Family’s attitude towards her, ignoring the rumors about Felicity’s background.

But seeing Felicity hastily leaving today and her dismissive attitude towards Elliot, Mrs. Walsh was sowhat displeased.

"She usually treats warmly."

Elliot Walsh smiled and said to the old lady, "She’s rushing out to et friends.

Mrs. Walsh looked at the smile on Elliot’s face and assud he was telling the truth.

"Let her choose the gold jewelry when she returns, as for this bracelet," Mrs. Walsh gestured to the servant to take it back, "Give it to her after the wedding."

The jade bracelet was the Walsh family’s heirloom, even the current Mrs. Walsh hadn’t received it.

It was clear Mrs. Walsh doted on her grandson Elliot.

"Yes, thank you, Grandma." Elliot replied, and once Mrs. Walsh left, he gazed into the bleak night outside, thinking of sothing as the smile on his face gradually faded.

Felicity Sterling did not arrive at the agreed ti; she purposely delayed by half an hour.

Initially, she thought of being even later but worried Ethan Grant might not wait.

She strutted into Ethan Grant’s private room in high heels, opened the door, and saw Ethan Grant alone.

There was no Serena Sullivan, nor any mber of The Sterling Family; Ethan really had invited her alone.

"Mr. Grant." She deliberately chose a seat far from Ethan Grant. Never would she be foolish enough to get close, keeping a certain distance was more intriguing.

"Order whatever you like."

Ethan Grant invited Felicity to order, and she casually picked a few dishes from the nu.

After ordering, she looked up to observe Ethan Grant sitting across, her smile grew wider.

To say she loved Ethan Grant, she actually didn’t.

Her feelings towards him were mostly because of June Kane.

Ever since Ethan Grant appeared in the Imperial Capital and June Kane learned that Ethan and Serena were lovers, she told Felicity, marry him!

Under June’s daily encouragents, Felicity naturally developed different feelings towards Ethan Grant.

It’s not love; it’s thinking Ethan Grant is her target, her future husband.
