There wasn't a need to describe this scene intentionally for the passersby to co up with heart-wrenching love stories.
Lu Qili could feel the vibration from under the hood. Her heart was shaken so much that it turned numb, and she clenched her teeth tightly. She anxiously circled around the front of the car, then knocked on the car window to the driver's seat.
Fu Huai'an's eyes were intense. He rolled down the car window and turned to look in Lu Qili's direction. With one look, Lu Qili's countenance had already beco extrely pale.
"Believe , Huai'an! I really have no intention of harming you guys! If I did, why wouldn't I tell the truth when I know that Tuan Tuan is Lu Xiangsi and Jiang Ming'an's child? I only said that Tuan Tuan isn't your child! I haven't been able to see you, and I'm unable to see Lin Nuan as well. You guys have people around you, and I'd be driven away before I even got close! Lu Qili's voice was choked. She raised her head and looked in Lin Nuan's direction, her face filled with anxiety. "I never wanted to et Huai'an. I only wanted to et you. I wanted to tell you that Fu Tianci's mother is plotting sothing against Huai'an. She has already found out about the undercover mission Huai'an took back then. Due to the matter with the Kaide Corporation, she is enraged and wants to use this matter to threaten the two of you, wanting to purchase the shares from Huai'an at a low price! Lin Nuan only smiled and listened quietly to Lu Qili's explanation amidst her panicking and the sincere look on her face.
"I only feel that I've done too many wrong things in the past, and I want to make up for it… I want to ask you guys to forgive . I only ca up with this plan because I was all out of ideas. I didn't deal any real damage to you guys, right?" Lu Qili couldn't hide her grief or the fact that she blad Lin Nuan. "Why didn't you listen to my explanation before you let Huai'an co and wrong like this?"
Fu Huai'an's gaze turned dark. He was about to push open the car door when Lin Nuan grabbed his big hand…
"I finally understand what it ans to make a false counter-charge!" Lin Nuan laughed softly, resting one elbow on the dashboard. She smiled as she looked at Lu Qili. "If things were really as you said, that you only wanted to make ands, wanting to tell us that Fu Tianci's mother wants to use the matter about Huai'an having gone undercover in the past to threaten us, couldn't you have made a call? Even if we don't pick up your calls, won't we read the ssages that you send? Yet, you used such threatening ans to force to co and et you. Would you believe it… if you were to say that you didn't harbor any other thoughts?"
"Why wouldn't I believe it? I don't get anything from doing this! Moreover, I was the one who told you that this matter was done by ! It's true that I like Huai'an! But would I be able to break you and Huai'an apart just by doing this? Would I? By doing this… Huai'an would feel even more repugnant toward ! What was my intention for doing this? Lu Qili made it sound as if this was the truth, and tears trickled down her face. "I don't want to see that not only do I not get your understanding for my kind intentions but that your misunderstanding toward deepens. Lin Nuan looked at Lu Qili and smiled. "So… are you truly concerned about Tuan Tuan? If you really were, then would you not have realized that what you've done today will leave a trauma in Tuan Tuan's heart? Tuan Tuan is my and Huai'an's child. We care about him the most. You know this well, so you held onto this, wanting to hurt us, or maybe just . You only thought about revenge and hurting. You've never… considered Tuan Tuan's plight before!"
"Lu Qili, stop saying that you're concerned about Tuan Tuan! Who gave Lu Qili the guts to dare say sothing like that?

Lu Qili's heart tightened when she heard Lin Nuan's words, but she didn't dare act up when she was in front of Fu Huai'an. She bit her lower lip, appearing pitiful as she said, "I'm doing this for Huai'an. You're Huai'an's wife. Aren't you concerned about him at all?"
"Miss Lu still rembers that I'm Huai'an's wife?" Lin Nuan was smiling, but her smile didn't reach her eyes. "There's to handle Huai'an's matters. If Miss Lu shows too much concern, you'll be overstepping your bounds!"
Lu Qili bit down on her lower lip. "But, I never saw you show much concern toward Huai'an's matters!"
"Do we have to tell you everything between us as a married couple?" Fu Huai'an's dark gaze looked toward Lu Qili. He frowned slightly, appearing a little impatient. "You think too highly of yourself!"
Fu Huai'an's mature and deep voice spoke out slowly, not intentionally belittling the other party. However, every ti he spoke, he could cause other's hearts to tremor. It wasn't hard to tell that there was anger slowly accumulating in his heart, and his disposition as a man in power made it hard for others to speak up.
Lu Qili's fingers, which were resting on the car window, were trembling. She wanted to call out Fu Huai'an's na, but she didn't dare to do so…
"Your hand…" Fu Huai'an's low voice rang out.
Lu Qili almost unconsciously raised her hand and backed off a step. She watched as Fu Huai'an's car disappeared from sight, and she felt so cold that even her spine was trembling.
