Zhang Liling was not given a chance to reply as Zhang Renshu took over the conversation.
The man got Zhang Liling's hint and agreed with her, because he knew what most competitors do. Most of them would go to any length to get what they want.
They go as far as manipulating their opponents withe their weaknesses, killing soone or committing any other kind of cri.
All these he was aware of.
"Liling, I am not asking for your opinion in this matter as you have no say. Nobody would dare to lay a hand on you because if it happens, the Zhang Group will be auctioned!" Zhang Renshu declared to the shock of everyone present.
Shi Wenqian's eyeballs almost popped out of her eye sockets. 'Zhang Group would be auctioned?!'
After returning to Mr. Fang's house the next morning, that declaration from her father was still ringing in Zhang Liling's head.
She knew her father didn't give much thought toward her, and the only reason he would be willing to protect her would be because she was his flesh and blood, and he wouldn't want anything to happen to her, while under his watch.
When Song Jujing heard this, she was very angry with Zhang Renshu and argued with him over the phone. Her daughter's life was more important to her, so she argued with her ex about it.
Zhang Renshu remained adamant about it and was still insistent, while making claims that he would protect their daughter at all costs.
Since she couldn't win the argunt over the phone, she cut the call on him and said with her temples throbbing. "That's it! I have had enough of this! Liling is coming back to Paris!"
Song Jujing was smart not to say this to Zhang Renshu's hearing, otherwise the man would get another idea to stop Zhang Liling from leaving with her for Paris.
Zhang Liling was not interested in running or heading the Zhang Group. Her interest was to get close to Mr. Fang and get into Fang Group.
Since she has laid her opinion out for her father and was rejected, then she has decided not to bother about it.
She wanted to see for herself if he would personally drag her to go and work in the Zhang's company after her graduation, and stop her from getting into Fang Group.
Zhang Liling didn't need to intentionally do bad so as to not get her father's intentions. Instead right now, she would out in extra efforts to make sure that she becos the best graduating student in her departnt, and effortlessly get into Fang Group.
That honour would help her get into FJ without struggles, or any help from Mr. Fang.
In order to get her mind off her father and his plans, Zhang Liling got to work imdiately. She put her backpack in her bedroom before changing into her uniform to work.
She was determined to beco more diligent than ever in her work, and academics.
While Zhang Liling had her own plans, Shi Wenqian had her own plans as well.
The next day after Zhang Renshu declared his intentions, she made a call to soone. "When is the latest you can arrange a match? Arrange a match as soon as possible. I want to teach my son how to get what he wants."
The person on the other end of the phone thought, 'You want to stain his senses now?'
After the call, Shi Wenqian put away her phone and went to sit in front of her vanity table. She stared at her face in front of the mirror for a while before picking up a handful of face wipes to clean her face before starting to apply makeup on her face.
Since she couldn't touch Zhang Liling, then she would focus on training her son's mind even though she didn't have any plans of that before.
She would teach him to do things her own way.

For 2 good weeks, Zhang Liling worked very hard in her academics and housework to the extent that Mr. Fang noticed her.
He noticed how tired she was, how lean she looked and the heavy eye bags on her face.
As Zhang Liling ca to serve him a cup of coffee in study at night, he fixed a scrutinizing gaze on her. His brows were furrowed at the discovery he made from observing her for only a short while.
Zhang Liling placed the mug of hot black coffee in front of him and noticed the heavy gaze on her, and couldn't help reacting.
'Why is he staring at like that, did I do sothing wrong? Does he hate the aroma of the coffee, did I make it too strong?'
"Mr. Fang?" Zhang Liling called out nervously as she slowly t his gaze.
Mr. Fang heard his na from her lips, and slightly parted his slips to say to her, "You look like I have subjected you to imnse suffering."
"Huh..." Zhang Liling seed confused while staring at him like an idiot.
Mr. Fang put his fists under his jaw while still staring hard at her face. "When last did you look at yourself in the mirror?" Mr. Fang asked but before she could reply, he waved the question away.
"Forget it! I don't know what you have been upto lately that is making you look like this, but you need to stop. Take the entire day off tomorrow." He said and shifted his gaze back to the papers on his desk.
Zhang Liling felt a mixture of 3 different kinds of emotions and wanted to speak, but he stopped her before she could even say a word.
Mr. Fang knew she was going to say sothing and shifted his gaze back to her, before saying in a stern tone that could not be refuted, "Don't make talk too much!"
Mr. Fang left Zhang Liling no opportunity to refute him, so she had no choice but to bow slightly and thank him probably for his care.
"Thank you, Mr. Fang."
Straight from his study, Zhang Liling went back to her bedroom smiling from ear to ear. She first went straight to the mirror to have a good look at her face.
Seeing the state she was in, she didn't even feel bad. She patted her sunken cheeks slightly while saying with a happy facial expression, "Mr. Fang cares for !"
Humming to herself, she stared at herself in the mirror one more ti before going to the night stand to pick up her phone.
'Now that I have a day off to myself, it's ti to throw a house warming party!' This was that she was thinking when she found Tungi's contact and dialled her number.
