With regards to another engagent party for Zhang Mingyu, Zhang Renshu was not in support of it, but since the Ong family wanted it, he relented to the idea.

Besides, they would be the ones to take care of the preparation, and that was for the best.

Unknown to him, a lot of lies were involved in the engagent party.

As Shi Wenqian had other plans, she made sure to have her way.

Deeming it very important that she dragged down Zhang Liling's spotlight concerning her wedding ceremony coming up in a few days, she went ahead to do what she knew how to do best.

Using her contacts, she drew attention to Zhang Mingyu's forr engagent party just as she did with Glint.

Soon, so made-up accounts began to ask about his engagent party to Ong Emma.

'Earlier this year, Zhang Mingyu was confird to marry Ong Emma, what happened?'

'Did they Zhang and Ong family separate?'

So many questions began to rise slowly on the internet and with so undivided attention, Shi Wenqian saw a way to push for Zhang Mingyu's engagent to take place soon so that wedding plans could begin.

"Renshu, we have no choice, the engagent must hold soon, the public has been alerted." Shi Wenqian said to the angry Zhang Renshu who was sitting on the sofa in the living room.

"Are these people in the internet being controlled by a remote? Do they not know how to mind their business?"

The man looked quite angry regarding the matter going on in the internet.

He didn't like being forced to do sothing as he hates pressure from outsiders.

As Zhang Liling would be having her wedding soon, he only wanted for the ceremony to pass before he could publicly say anything regarding Zhang Mingyu, but it looked like things were not working in his favour.

Also given his political ambition, he couldn't let these little things affect him, this, Shi Wenqian knew so well hence, the reason he was using it to her advantage.

Knowing that any pinch on her husband's side would cause him to seek for a soothing effect, she decided to use that asure in order to get him to do her bidding.

"You already know they maks a living through this ans. There is no need dwelling on it."

Smiling inwardly while looking like she was a little bothered outwardly, Shi Wenqian continued.

"I suggest we should release a statent concerning the official engagent party of Mingyu and Emma Ong together with the Ong family."

Glaring at her, Zhang Renshu inquired, "Are you saying that we should give these brats the kind of news they want? Have you forgotten that Liling's wedding is in a few days? Are you trying to drag her shine?"

Zhang Renshu has thought hard about this issue and found out that talking about Zhang Mingyu would make it seem like there was a family feud going on, and that he didn't want.

But, Shi Wenqian would never let him have his way. Then what would be the use for a the stress she went through?

Looking straight into his eyes, Shi Wenqian said to him. "Renshu, we have no choice. If you don't want to do it yourself, we can ask the Ong family to release a statent about Mingyu's engagent with their daughter, and then we can confirm it. That way, you wouldn't have to feel bad."

Letting out a deep breath, she added, "The more the days go by, the more attention this particular topic will have. And things may be worse for your daughter who is getting married."

Tired of keeping up appearances as she was in good terms with Zhang Liling, Shi Wenqian dropped the cat there and then. That way, it would make it easy for her to be trusted.

Zhang Renshu pondered over her suggestion and although he was annoyed, he found out to be the best outco hence, he gave her the permission to reach the Ong family to do the bidding.

The next day, the Ong family revealed their current stance with the Zhang family which was through the engagent of Zhang Mingyu and their daughter, Emma Ong.

Also, a few hours later, the Zhang family released a statent to confirm the upcoming engagent party that would take place a month later.

With these news making rounds on the internet, it beca a thing of joy for so people, and a thing of anger for others.

Seeing the news, Zhang Liling felt like shredding the news paper to pieces.

"Shi Wenqian, I know where you are going with this. This is indeed your handwork."

Zhang Liling refused to believe that it was a coincidence for people to suddenly beco interested in her fake half-brother's affairs during the ti of her wedding.

Soone must have taken advantage of the opportunity to have sothing done and pulled so strings.

Asking herself who that news would favour the most, all fingers pointed to her stepmother.

With this confirmation, Zhang Liling ca to understand sothing. This was not where Shi Wenqian was heading to. This was only a step to her goal.

But what was her goal? To give Zhang Corp to Zhang Mingyu.

Only with his marriage would Zhang Renshu agree to give him so of the company shares, and an upgrade in position.

"I can't let a bastard inherit my father's company."

Making that promise, she picked up her phone and placed a call on Fang Bingwen to complain about it, but his assurance, put her at ease.

"Let her have her way for now. It will be more painful to lose everything when it had already co in place."

In summary, Mr. Fang was telling her to ignore her stepmother for at last, she would never be able to achieve her goal.

"Do you have a plan to bring her down before this wedding takes place?" Zhang Liling inquired.

"Not yet. I am only interested in our wedding plans at the mont. After it all, I will face Shi Wenqian directly." Fang Bingwen promised.

Hearing that, Zhang Liling was happy and relieved with his help as she could trust him only hence, she appreciated him more in her life.
