As quickly as her legs could carry her, Zhang Liling went straight to find Tungi, not minding the eyes that were on her as she walked past the offices
Honestly, she was disrupting her father's staffs, but she didn't mind.
As a non co-worker, she didn't have the right to intrude into Zhang Corp's personal workplace, but those managers that saw her, were first surprised with her sudden presence and one question remained in their mind.
What was she doing here?
Ignorant of what they thought of her, Zhang Liling ventured into her best friend's workplace.
Standing at the entrance, her gaze swept last the work desks and the people each occupying one, in search of a familiar soone.
Her brows furrowed slightly when she didn't see her friend at first glance.
'Where is she?' She thought as she t the gazes of the weird glances from others.
,m Tungi was deeply buried in her work and therefore, she was ignorant of Liling's intrusion.
All that was going on in her mind, was to finish her work and submit and clock off work early today.
She still had to prepare for Glint's launch the next day.
As her fingers flew over the keyboard on her desk while her eyes tried to catch what she was typing, the whispers from her surrounding brought her back to reality as her train of concentration broke.
She was about to flare up when she saw almost everyone staring at one particular direction. Instinctively, her fingers paused in mid-air as her gaze shifted toward that direction only to see an unexpected familiar figure standing at the entrance.
'Liling?'
Tungi was stunned by her best friend's presence that her mouth was left agape as different thought flew into her head.
'What is she doing here?'
'Did she co to see ?'
Zhang Liling was still standing at the door trying to find Tungi in the mass of people in the large working space of the Managent departnt when a man in his 40's with the middle of his head bald, approached her with a smile.
The man had his hands behind his back with an office work ID tag around his neck.
Recognizing her and seeing her gestures, he guessed that she must be looking for soone and hurriedly went over to curry favour with her.
"Miss..."
But just as he tried to started a conversation with her, a humorous female voice coming from the office, resounded in the large room, automatically cutting him off.
"Liling!" Tungi called out with a smile as she stood to her feet and with her gaze directed at Liling.
Seeing a an leader in her departnt going to her, she was forced to shout out to her.
Hearing the familiar voice calling out to her as everyone looked between her a d the person, the corners of Zhang Liling's lips curled on seeing the person she was looking for.
Without reserved, she walked into the large working space proper with the box in her hand.
"I've been looking for you, were you hiding from ?"
As she said that to everyone's hearing without caring that she was disrupting their work, she stopped in front of Tungi who didn't look relaxed in anyway.
'Does this girl know where we are?' She thought to herself as she stole a glance at the few people who still had their gaze on them.
This was so embarrassing.
Taking her arm, Tungi replied while trying to signal her to rember where they were. This was her work place, and not a restaurant.
How could she not care about that?
"I was preoccupied with work and was distracted when I heard the hushed voices beside ."
Fortunately, Zhang Liling understood the eye blinking sign she gave to her, and decided to lead her out.
"I ca to see my father, but I don't know where his office is. This is my first ti here, can you show where it is?"
Instantly, Tungi sighed in relief as she quickly followed her out while asking to the hearing of the people at a close range as them.
"You could have called him and he would send soone to escort you..."
"No, I want to surprise him." Zhang Liling replied as her voice faded away.
As soon as the two of them went away, the employees of the Managent departnt, began to whisper amongst themselves.
"Was that Zhang Liling just now?"
"This is the first ti I'm seeing the President's biological daughter here."
"I heard she was supposed to start work here at the sa ti as her brother, but her stepmother worked against it."
"What is she doing here?"
"Didn't here, she ca to see President Zhang."
"She said sothing about wanting to surprise him, maybe they are in good terms..."
"I wonder if their relationship is that good."

"Liling, did you really co to see your father?" Tungi asked curiously as they continued walking down the hallway.
"Yes, but there is soone important that I must see first." Zhang Liling replied with her gaze darting around the sowhat busy hallway, in search of soone.
Curious as to the person that made her friend so worked up, Tungi inquired about it. "And who is that?"
At that question, Zhang Liling turned her gaze to her. It was as if she rembered that there was no ti to continue wasting.
"On my way to you, I saw Zhang Mingyu and one young lady following after him."
"Oh... You have seen Mikayla? What a faithful eting." Tungi said in realization. But before she could catch her breath, she heard her friend make a request.
"Show to Zhang Mingyu's office."
"I thought you ca for your father?" She inquired with a look of surprise on her face.
"Mmmmm... I will see him later. Zhang Mingyu and that girl left together, I want to confirm sothing." Zhang Liling said, giving off an evil smile with an equally wicked vibe.
Instantly, Tungi clicked with her, as she ca to an understanding of what she wanted to do.
