"Your ex-wife... No...no..." Zhang Liling started but suddenly stopped as she shook her hand frantically with a playful smile on her face.
"I take that back," she said hurriedly and let out a chuckle before continuing with her big reveal.
"You never had the opportunity of marrying my mother, so I can't address her as your ex-wife. How unfortunate."
As Zhang Renshu listened, he felt a sharp pain in his chest. He knew very well that the young woman in front of him was doing this on purpose to anger him, and she had succeeded.
Zhang Liling had wanted to continue torturing him the other way round, but she figured that she wanted to spend less ti in his presence.

Pretending to be angry, she took a deep breath before slowly turning to spare him a glance while waiting for him to speak up.
"Y-You M-Mother..." Zhang Renshu swallowed hard as if a lump was in his throat.
He found it almost difficult to complete his statent as he couldn't believe that Song Jujing had cancer for over a year, and he didn't even try to reach out to her.
Even if no one told him about it, at least, if he had been reaching out as he is supposed to, he would have found out on ti.
Unfortunately, that was not the case.
At the thought of the disappointnt that would be in his ex's eyes when she sees him, Zhang Renshu felt very guilty.
Swallowing hard again, he continued after he noticed the impatience in his daughter's eyes.

"Dad!" Zhang Liling cut him off imdiately. She was tired of staying with him. She had sowhere else to be.
"If you want to know more about the health of the woman your betrayed and turned her life upside down, call her yourself."
Saying up to here, Zhang Liling opened the door and left without giving him the chance to defend himself.
Zhang Renshu could only watch as she left his study without trying to stop her.
Her last statent was like a dagger that pierced right into his chest.
He didn't want to hear anymore and felt it was better for her to leave.
'Mr. Zhang, thank you for permitting to press your buttons using my mother,' Zhang Liling said in her heart as she trotted away in her pair of black stilettos.
At last, she had achieved what she wanted.
This was the very reason she held this news back for such a long ti, and she was going to use the last feelings he still had for her mother to climb up the ladder.
With his guilt, she would accelerate with her mission faster than the shadows.
Without stopping in her steps, Zhang Liling walked all the way to the car and got in while exuding confidence.
She didn't even bother to call her mother and I form her of her plans because there was practically no need to.
And just like she thought, Zhang Renshu got himself a few days later and decided to reach out to Song Jujing.
When he ntioned the fact that she had cancer, she did not correct him as her mind automatically went to Zhang Liling.
'Why did she tell him that I have cancer? Who knows what she is planning?'
Before going back to Mr. Fang's Villa that day, Zhang Liling dropped by her house, and seeing the clean space, she thought about moving back.
Because she had the housekeeper cleaning the house, the place was dust-free and felt like ho again.

Fang Bingwen was too lazy to explain his life to others and had planned not to give out any statent, but his Fang family thought otherwise.
They pressured him to clarify the news, more especially his father had to call him over the phone to talk to him about it.
And at last, he clarified his relationship with Zhang Liling, instantly blowing everywhere up.
His statent got so many tongues wagging as the internet was on fire.

Others dropped so many questions, both those that made sense and did not, but no one gave them a response.
