Maeve Lane glanced over and was truly taken aback, even as soone within this circle, she couldn’t help but remark, "This world is really a ss."

Sarah Sutton handed the phone to Maeve Lane, comnting, "So scumbags just need to be exposed before they know to restrain themselves. Look at how many girls were deceived by Mark Jules; luckily, his dirty laundry was aired this ti. Otherwise, those who were cheated would be too afraid to speak up, fearing revenge."

"TS dia really is a trash company, fostering so many disgusting artists. No wonder Sylvia Lane thrives in there like a fish in water."

"So much... did Julian Fairchild give you this information?" Maeve Lane examined it closely and found that none of the official accounts of these celebrities had issued clarifications, even though the gossip had been circulating for a while.

In such an appalling situation, almost everyone was calling them out, yet no statents had been made. This could almost be considered a final nail in the coffin.

"Hmm, Fairchild genuinely cares about you; I’m so envious," Sarah Sutton sincerely remarked, "If I could find a man even a tenth as good as Fairchild, that would be wonderful. Sigh..."

Maeve Lane chuckled.

Julian Fairchild always does more than he says. Though he doesn’t have the upper hand online, he avenged her imdiately. Sylvia Lane is still at the Fairchild Residence, but Maeve was rather surprised by Sylvia’s shalessness, showing up at the Fairchild Family every couple of days.

And every other word out of her mouth is "Julian," and when she arrived yesterday, Sylvia even tried to cling to Julian Fairchild.

If Julian hadn’t learned to report to her by now, she might have really gotten the wrong idea.

But fortunately, they were no longer eighteen or nineteen years old. After so many twists and turns, their hearts grew closer and closer, and they learned to express love sincerely.

"Let’s go, we’ll find a place to discuss the script. If there’s a suitable one, we’ll go audition. Wait for for a bit; I’ll go say goodbye to Director Osborne and the others before we leave," Sarah Sutton said, picking up her bag and the prepared gifts.

"To prevent gossip, I specifically waited until the audition was over to approach him. After all, it was Director Osborne who invited you to audition. Without him, there wouldn’t be this opportunity."

"Okay, I’ll wait for you outside then."

"Mm."

Maeve Lane walked out of the film town. This was a newly developed area, serving the sa purpose as a filming city, and it was a distance away from Aurelia. The setting was beautiful, with green mountains and clear waters, and today, several crews were filming here.

She walked to her trailer, opened the door, and sat inside.

Wearing a black mask paired with a simple baseball cap, a common style among actresses, yet she was still recognized by passersby.

"Isn’t that Maeve Lane?"

"It really is. She looks so good in person!"

"How are those eyes so beautiful, like gems."

Since she was recognized, Maeve Lane took off her mask and smiled at them.

Several others smiled sheepishly and walked away, appearing to be staff from a film crew.

As Maeve Lane looked away, a figure not far away caught her attention, "...Ms. Roland?"

Ms. Roland was still as composed and elegant as before. She had more presence than most socialites Maeve had seen, even though she only wore a simple red jacket and nothing else lavish besides a diamond ring on her unnad finger.

But her walking posture seed a bit odd.

Maeve Lane mused.

Ms. Roland walked out, glanced around to make sure no one was there, then sat on a bench and loosened her high heels. They had already chafed her skin raw after walking for such a short ti, and she drew a sharp breath, "Hiss..."

A pair of fluffy bunny slippers appeared in front of her.

Ms. Roland was taken aback and looked up, "Is it you?"

Maeve Lane nodded, "You don’t often wear high heels, do you? I used to get blisters all the ti too."

Ms. Roland didn’t answer this question nor take the slippers from Maeve Lane’s hands; instead, she asked, "Don’t you dislike ?"

"Why should I dislike you?" Maeve Lane lazily placed the slippers in front of her, "I believe you’re a good writer and care deeply about your work. If earnestness were to be disliked, then this world would be dood."

Ms. Roland hesitated for a mont and freed her feet from the high heels, "Thank you."

"You’re welco." Maeve Lane returned her hands to her pockets. Thankfully, Mama Donovan often prepared a pair of slippers in her trailer, in case her high heels hurt her feet after wearing them for too long. They ca in handy today.

"Well, I’m off. Goodbye."

As Maeve Lane was about to leave, Ms. Roland instinctively called out to her, "Wait, you’re Maeve Lane, right?"
