Maeve Lane took off her helt, the cold wind lifting her hair, stunningly beautiful and carefree. "Alright, you go up and rest first. I’ve booked a room for you. I’ll play for a while longer before going up to rest."

Henry Hughes noticed Maeve’s fondness for motorcycles and didn’t want to dampen her mood, so he said, "Alright, be safe. I’ll head up first."

"Mm, ask the front desk for the room card."

"Okay."

Henry asked the front desk for a key and handed his sweat-drenched clothes to the staff responsible for laundry, "Thank you."

She nodded, "No problem, enjoy your stay, Mr. Hughes."

He smiled, took the room card, and headed to the elevator.

The elevator faced the lounge area, outside was a purely black sky, occasionally swept by a gust of cold wind.

The mont the elevator doors closed, a silhouette remarkably similar to Julian Fairchild flashed before his eyes.

Henry didn’t get a chance to see clearly before the elevator doors shut.

He diverted his gaze.

Must have been seeing things.

The person holding Henry’s clothes suddenly found their hands empty.

She looked montarily stunned, seeing a young handso man standing to her right, "Sir, what are you doing?"

"I’ll bring it to my friend later on."

Julian Fairchild’s features were exquisite, his nose high and pronounced, his cold thin lips sowhat indifferent, "Miles Hughes."

"Present."

Soti earlier, another man had appeared in the lobby, looking elegant and handso, "Young Master."

Though not as charismatic as Julian Fairchild, he was handso in his own right.

"Co with ."

The front desk recognized Julian Fairchild; handso n were not uncommon, but ones like Julian were rare, so they didn’t stop him.

They simply wondered what this man intended with the clothes?

Miles followed behind Julian, serious and cautious.

He was strictly ordered not to contact him until the second Young Master agreed to the arranged marriage.

Even though he had been with Julian since childhood, this was the first ti Julian disobeyed the Family Head’s orders and called him over directly.

Sothing unusual must have occurred; the Young Master hadn’t looked so grim since the ti his mother forced issues on him.

Julian walked into a shadowy corner, coldly handing the items in his hand over, "Make a new one according to my asurents. I want it by tomorrow."

Miles, confused, looked at the clothes and helt in his hands, nodding, "Yes, sir."

With the Fairchild Family’s resources, producing an identical set by tomorrow was no challenge, but, "Young Master, why do you need this?"

"Don’t ask questions you shouldn’t." Julian glanced at him, "Go now."

Miles: "Oh, alright. Anything else?"

"No."

Miles scratched his head, looked at Julian’s departing figure, and examined the clothes again closely, "These clothes look quite ordinary. Why did the Young Master specifically call over for this?"

Mumbling to himself, he walked away.

Maeve Lane, after so ti riding, felt a bit thirsty. She found a spot to park and rest for a while, her forehead hair damp with sweat. She brushed her hair back, her eyes half-closed.

With her eyes slightly raised, she saw soone standing under the street lamp, eyes covered with a thin layer of ice coldly staring at her.

Maeve lifted the corner of her lips, "Julian Fairchild?"

Julian Fairchild steadily walked toward her, his gaze never leaving hers.

Maeve raised an eyebrow, "Weren’t you gone?"

Julian walked around her, taking a seat on her backseat voluntarily—

"I didn’t leave."

He lifted his eyelids, his eyes dark and unreadable—

"Finished with him, can you take ?"
