Russell was at a loss for words. He had never taken care of a child before, and seeing Kane like this made him feel completely anxious.

Kane stayed downstairs for only a few minutes before he beca restless. He quickly found an excuse to go back upstairs.
Surprisingly, he behaved well. He sat quietly beside Chantelle. As he lay next to her, his small hand gently held her fingers.

Daniel arrived with chicken soup. The mont he heard Chantelle was sick, he panicked and rushed upstairs, completely ignoring his own injuries.
His chest tightened as he looked at her pale face. A dull pain hit across his chest.

Seeing Kane lying beside her with his small face full of worry, made Daniel's heart hurt even more.

"I want to stay with Mommy," Kane blurted out without thinking.
"What? What did you just call her?" Daniel was stunned. For a mont, he thought he misheard his son.
"Auntie Chantelle reminds of my mother. I secretly call her that sotis. Please don't tell Auntie Chantelle." Kane felt terrible. He had almost revealed himself to Daniel.
Fortunately, he was destined to be the best actor ever!
Kane comforted himself as he held Chantelle's hand tightly.
Daniel watched him and felt agitated.

Even without acknowledging each other, Rai could sense Chantelle's emotions.

Daniel lay down beside Chantelle, finding a spot on the big bed. Like Kane, he stayed by her side, watching her.

This place was far better than the Bently family's ruined villa!
Kate picked the best room in the villa for herself. She was so happy that she smiled all day.
At first, she thought Jerry was useless. But to her surprise, he was generous enough to give her such an expensive villa. He actually kept his word and let her live in it!

Feeling pleased, she went downstairs.
In the hall, Ruby and Roman were admiring the luxurious interior and decorations.

To Kate, the matter felt almost insignificant.
"Kate, can you really convince Jerry to invest in our family?" Roman's eyes lit up with hope.
"Of course! Don't you all know how Jerry feels about ? Would he give such a huge villa if he didn't like ? If you don't believe , I'll call him right now!"
Kate said with confidence as she reached for her phone.
"Yes, yes! Jerry cares about Kate now. As long as she asks, there's hope for our family!" Ruby bead with pride, excited to see her daughter so assertive.
Everyone held their breath, waiting for Kate to call Jerry.
The call connected quickly.
"Hello, Jerry. You know my family is struggling right now. As you can see..."
"Okay. Say no more. I'll give my father-in-law a hundred million dollars. Consider it a dowry gift!"
"Really? Jerry, you're so generous to !" Kate was overjoyed.
She couldn't believe her luck in finding such an obedient fool like Jerry!
"This is nothing. Just make sure you put on a good show at Enchanteur Bar tonight. That'll be enough to thank !"
Jerry's conversation with Kate was loud enough for Roman and Ruby to hear since the speakerphone was on.
Roman's expression softened imdiately. He finally saw hope for Bently Corporation.
The mont Kate ended the call, they rushed to her side.
"Oh, my dear daughter, you are really amazing! This ti, our family will depend on you!" Roman was ecstatic. He no longer saw her as a nuisance but as his most valuable asset.
Kate felt proud of herself. However, she couldn't help but look down on her father's pathetic eagerness. If she had more experience, she wouldn't want any connection with a father like Roman, who only cared about pleasing the rich and powerful.
After soaking in their praise for a while, Kate finally spoke proudly.
"As you can see, Dad, the Bently family's future depends entirely on . Jerry invested because I told him to. If I decide not to—"
"How can you even think that? You wretched girl! Will you only be happy when our family is ruined?" Roman exploded in rage, cutting her off before she could finish.
The mont those words left his mouth, his fake kindness disappeared.
If Kate really refused to convince Jerry to invest, Roman would probably beat her to death.
