The video of Kate and Sam was leaked online, instantly becoming the top story.

"That poor guy... His woman betrayed him!"

Once again, Kate dominated the headlines in Easthan. But this ti, the most innocent person caught in the scandal—aside from Kate and Sam—was Roman.
"I'm very sorry, Mr. Bently, but due to personal reasons, you won't be able to attend the dinner."
Roman's grip tightened around his phone as his face darkened.
In a fit of rage, he threw it aside and stord into Kate's room.
"You shaless bitch! You ruined everything! Do you know how hard I worked to get invited to that dinner? Now I can't go because of you!"
His voice shook angrily.
"I gave you everything, and this is how you repay ? All you do is embarrass yourself and chase after n! What else are you good for? You're nothing but a stain on my na!"
He cursed her repeatedly. He grabbed Kate's arm, dragging her before throwing her to the floor. His face turned red with bloodshot eyes.
Breathing heavily, he swayed on his feet, nearly collapsing from anger.
"What's wrong with seducing n? It's your fault! You're incompetent! You can't even protect the company!"
Kate was losing control. The leaked video had pushed her to the edge.
Unable to contain her anger, she lashed out at Roman.
Slap!
Before she could finish, Roman struck her across the face.
The force of the slap sent her stumbling backward.
"Damn it! How dare you talk back to ? Who ruined Bently Corporation in the first place? I swear, I'll beat you to death today! You're such a shaless bitch!"
Blinded by rage, Roman didn't stop. He kicked Kate repeatedly, venting all his fury. His strikes were brutal, as if he truly intended to kill her.
Kate lay on the ground and her whole body was aching. The pain was unbearable. She felt like she was dying.
Struggling to breathe, she begged for rcy.
"Dad, I'm sorry! Please stop!"
"Stop! What are you doing? Are you trying to kill her?"
Ruby rushed in and stopped Roman when she saw him beating Kate. She had just returned from Jas' house.
"Yes! I'm going to beat her to death! I don't have a daughter this shaless!" Roman's eyes were bloodshot as he glared at Kate, ready to kick her again.
"Go! Get back to your room now!"
Ruby, unable to hold him back, turned and shouted at Kate.
For a mont, Kate was too stunned by the beating to react. But as Ruby's words sank in, she scrambled to her feet and limped back to her room.
Back in her room, Kate collapsed onto the bed.
Staring at her reflection in the mirror, she clenched her fists and scread, "Chantelle, just wait! I'll send you to hell!"

anwhile, at Lowe's villa, Jerry was finally free after being grounded.
The mont he got his phone back, he rushed to call Kate. But as soon as he turned it on, the video of Kate and Sam appeared on the screen.
"Damn it, Kate! How could you do this to ?"
His whole body trembled in fury. His fist slamd against the table, and without a second thought, he stord out with a group of bodyguards.
In less than ten minutes, Jerry and his n arrived at the Bently residence.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
After settling things with Roman, Ruby heard the loud pounding on the door.
"Kate, you worthless traitor! Get out here now! Do you hear ? Are you hiding like a coward? Fine! Smash the door open!"
Jerry's patience ran out. He turned to his bodyguards and ordered them to break the door down.
"Where is Kate? Tell her to co out now!"
Jerry stord into the living room with his bodyguards, pointing at Ruby as he shouted.
"She..." Ruby was stunned. Without thinking, she glanced toward Kate's room.
Before she could say another word, Jerry marched toward the room with his n.
"Jerry... w-what brings you here?" Kate stamred.
She turned at the sound of the commotion and froze when she saw Jerry's furious glare.
"What brings here? To see how you throw yourself at other n!" Jerry growled and his teeth clenched in rage. His face was red out of anger.
Without a warning, he slapped her hard.
Kate let out a cry and curled into a ball in the corner.
"Jerry, please listen! I can explain! My dad forced ... and Sam... He made do it!" she sobbed.
"He forced you? Cut the lies! You seduced him!" Jerry snapped at her.
Jerry was too furious to believe her.
"I'm telling the truth! He drugged ! I thought it was you, so... I swear on my life, I never wanted to betray you. Please don't misunderstand !"
Tears stread down Kate's face as she looked at Jerry, desperate and broken.
After a brief pause, she suddenly bolted toward the window and was about to jump.
"Kate, don't you dare!" Jerry's expression darkened.
"Jerry, please believe ! If you still don't, I... I'll jump!"
Seeing that he was still furious, Kate had no choice but to use her life as a threat.
Tears flowed down her face.
Jerry's heart softened quickly. He couldn't ignore the tears on Kate's face or her swollen eyes.
"Enough! Don't try to threaten with your life!" he snapped. "This is my final warning. If you ever do this to again, you and your entire family will be finished! I'll make sure you disappear from Easthan!"
His words were harsh, but his actions betrayed him. With a sigh, he walked towards her and pulled her down from the window.
"Jerry, please trust . I never betrayed you. Those bastards forced ..."
Lying in his arms, Kate sobbed, blaming everything on Sam.
"How could Sam do this to you? That bastard! I won't let him get away with it!"
Once again, Kate had Jerry wrapped around her finger. He believed every word she said.
"Jerry, stay away from them! I don't want you to get hurt."
She wrapped her arms around his neck, persuading him softly, and pleaded.
"Okay. If you say so," Jerry murmured. A smirk played on his lips. "We haven't seen each other for days. Did you miss ?"
