"Do you rember the gown you wore to Mr. Roger Morgan’s birthday dinner? I really loved it. I wanted to have one made too, but when I finally got the ti to visit the tailor, there were too many orders. I had to wait for months."

"It’s always busy at GG Boutique. If you order now, I doubt you’ll get your gown in ti," Shiela said.

"That’s why I ca to you," Lisa replied. "Can I ask a favor? Could you help find a ready-made gown at GG Boutique? You know how strict Mr. Wilson is. If I don’t wear sothing nice, he might feel embarrassed and I could lose my job."

As she spoke, Lisa gently hugged Shiela.

"You’re in luck. I’m actually heading there now to pick up my gown. You can co with . But I can’t promise we’ll find sothing," Shiela said.

She had a good relationship with the secretaries, especially Lisa. They often helped each other.

So this ti, Shiela was more than willing to lend a hand.

"You’re the best, Shiela!" Lisa said as she hugged and kissed her.

"Stop it!" a voice snapped as the door swung open.

They were both stunned and turned around to see Jude standing there with a gloomy face.

"I’m sorry. I’ll head out now," Lisa said quickly. She glanced at Jude and gave Shiela a quick wink before hurrying away.

Shiela stood up and asked politely, "Do you need sothing from , Mr. Jude?"

Jude stared at her face for a few seconds, then turned around and walked out without saying a word.

Shiela was confused. She touched her nose, unsure what to think.

After work, she and Lisa headed straight to GG Boutique.

When they arrived, Chantelle was already there.

"Hi, Shiela. Here to pick up your gown?" Chantelle greeted her with a warm smile.

"Yes. I want to be ready early since the charity dinner is the day after tomorrow," Shiela replied with a smile.

"How do you know Mrs. Wilson?" Lisa asked, clearly surprised.

"One of her close friends was my classmate back in elentary school. After Mrs. Wilson returned from abroad, we t a few tis. She’s really kind," Shiela explained.

Lisa turned to Chantelle with a friendly smile. "Hello, Mrs. Wilson. I’m Lisa, Mr. Wilson’s secretary."

Chantelle gave a small nod. "Is Daniel in the office?"

"Yes, Mr. Wilson is in," Lisa replied quickly. Her expression turned serious. She didn’t want Mrs. Wilson to think there was anything going on between her and Daniel. That kind of misunderstanding could ruin her.

"Has he had dinner?" Chantelle asked as she checked her watch. It was already 7:30 p.m.

"I don’t think so," Lisa replied, guessing Mrs. Wilson planned to bring him food.

"He’s ignoring his health again," Chantelle sighed.

"Mr. Wilson often skips dinner when he’s busy," Lisa said. "It might help if you brought him sothing. Otherwise, he could end up with an upset stomach."

After seeing how things went in the past, Lisa figured it was better for her if Mr. Wilson spent more ti with his wife.

After thinking over Lisa’s words, Chantelle decided to visit Daniel at the Wilson Group Of Companies. Maybe it was a good way to help him heal after what Stephanie had done.

"I didn’t know you had a tattoo on your arm, Shiela," Thea said, sounding a bit surprised.

Chantelle turned and saw Shiela step out in her new gown.

"You look stunning. With a little makeup, you’d be as beautiful as a blooming rose."

"It’s all thanks to Thea’s amazing skills," Shiela replied happily. She loved the gown. The difference between custom-made and ready-made was clear. But the custom ones were really expensive.

Jude once told Shiela that what she wore could reflect on his na. He promised she could choose any dress she liked for the banquet and that he’d cover the cost. Without that, Shiela would never have spent 2 million on a dress. Thea had also given her a special 5% discount as a friend.

"You heard about it, right? Every affected custor will get an extra Calot and Hale co-brand gown. Yours is ready so you can pick it up later," Thea said as she worked on the final touches of Shiela’s gown.

That’s why Shiela brought Lisa along.

"Can I give the extra gown to Lisa?" Shiela asked.

"Of course. It’s yours. You can give it to anyone you want," Thea replied coolly.

Lisa lit up with excitent. Every gown from this boutique was special. Wearing a Calot and Hale design felt like an honor.

"Now, I don’t have to worry about what to wear to the charity dinner. You saved , Shiela!"

"Didn’t Daniel prepare sothing for you?" Chantelle asked, curious.

Lisa shook her head quickly. "Mr. Wilson’s too busy to deal with things like that. That’s why I asked Shiela for help. The gown the company provided doesn’t fit . Mr. Wilson even said I looked strange in it and that it embarrassed him, so..."

She hoped Mrs. Wilson would understand her. She wasn’t trying to steal attention or get close to Daniel. She just wanted to avoid any trouble.

Chantelle noticed Lisa was shaking. She guessed Kane’s last visit had scared so of the secretaries.

She let out a soft sigh and got ready to head to the Wilson Group.

"Wait a second, Chantie! Shiela’s tattoo looks a lot like yours..." Thea said, surprised, as she reached out to look at Shiela’s arm.

Chantelle stared at the tattoo. It really did look similar to hers.

She had gotten her tattoo over a scald scar too, after coming back from overseas.

"It used to be a scald scar. I thought it looked ugly, so I always wore long sleeves to hide it. But Mr. Jude said I looked too mature when I dressed like that, so I got this tattoo instead," Shiela explained.

Why was everyone so focused on her tattoo? Was her strange thought actually true?

Chantelle and Thea exchanged surprised glances. They had just realized Shiela also had a burn that left a scar.

"Is there sothing wrong with the tattoo?" Shiela asked nervously.

"It’s nothing serious," Chantelle quickly replied to avoid confusion. "It just looks unique... kind of like an old symbol."

"Yeah, I think it’s unique too. I’ve searched everywhere but couldn’t find its aning," Shiela said. She made up her mind to wear long sleeves again to hide the tattoo.

Maybe it was better to stop daydreaming about being rich. It might only bring her trouble.
