Stephanie swung her legs while enjoying her ice cream. She waved at the bodyguard following them.

The bodyguard, who thought he was well-hidden, looked embarrassed when she saw him.

"Stephanie."

"Uncle, my stomach hurts," Stephanie said as she held her belly, looking like she was in pain.

"Don’t worry! We’ll take you to the hospital right now! Dr. Collins will take care of you!" The bodyguard jumped up and ran off.

Kane didn’t even notice. He was too busy on his laptop hacking those people online who spread rumors about Chantelle.

"Uncle, I want to use the toilet," Stephanie whispered while lying on his shoulder.

The bodyguard’s heart lted. How can a kid be this cute? I should get married and have a child like her!

"Okay, I’ll take you there right away."

Stephanie slipped out through the window in the restroom. But she didn’t leave the amusent park instantly. Instead, she looked for a secluded location and called Rowan.

"Uncle Rowan, I’m lost. Can you co pick up?"

Rowan was in a eting with the top executives. His face changed as soon as he heard her voice. He stood up and walked out quickly.

"Stay right there and don’t move. Don’t talk to anyone. I’ll be there soon."

"Okay, Uncle. I’ll wait for you here."

Stephanie spoke in a soft, innocent voice. But her face showed no emotion at all.

She had already found while she was abroad that Camille was going after her mom. After seeing the online posts Kane showed her, she was sure that her mom was being bullied.

She happened to et Camille’s brother during the fire. He was odd, but she figured she could use him to get back at Camille for what she did.

Twenty minutes later, an Aston Martin stopped by the side of the road.

From a distance, Rowan saw a small figure squatting alone. She was on high alert every ti a car passed.

Rowan’s heart ached when he saw her like that.

The more I look at her, the more she reminds of soone I used to know, Rowan thought.

He got out of the car in a hurry and walked over. "Steph, are you okay?"

Stephanie looked a little shaken. She held out her arms and said, "Uncle, I’m scared."

He picked her up quickly. He was annoyed with Daniel for not keeping her safe, but he kept those thoughts to himself.

"I’ll take you back to your mommy, okay?"

Stephanie shook her head hard, and tears started falling down her face.

"What’s wrong, Steph?"

Rowan couldn’t explain it, but he felt a strange connection to her, just like the one he felt towards Chantelle.

"Uncle, please don’t send ho. I don’t want to go back."

Rowan held her gently and carried her into the car. He told the driver, "Let’s head back to Sunshine Villa."

Rowan gently asked Steph what had happened. He thought she might’ve argued with her family. But she didn’t want to talk.

After coaxing her for a while, she finally opened up. Her voice shook, and her body trembled.

Even the driver felt sorry for her.

"I was playing with Rai. Uncle Daniel got mad and blad for losing him. He was really an. Mommy... Mommy still wants to accept him... but I don’t like him."

Rowan wiped her tears as she cried and gently patted her back to comfort her.

"Uncle Rowan, Uncle Daniel took my family away. Mommy and Kane are becoming his family now. They don’t want anymore. I don’t want to go back."

Stephanie’s acting was incredible. Many international directors had already recognized her talent. She had won several awards at a young age, so playing this role ca naturally to her.

She knew how to show pain and sadness. She controlled her expressions and even her tears perfectly.

Rowan’s heart ached. He really believed her.

He beca upset and wiped her tears more gently than before. "Steph, do you want to stay at my place for now? I’ll talk to your mommy."

"Uncle, please don’t bla Mommy. She’s a good mom. She’s just too busy to take care of ."

"I know," Rowan said as he patted her head.

Rowan didn’t just believe her because of what she said. He believed her because of how things looked right now.

He knew Rai was raised by Daniel himself, so it made sense that Daniel cared deeply for him. Chantelle and Kane had also been in Easthan for a while, so they were already close to Daniel.

But Stephanie had only just arrived. She wasn’t used to Daniel yet. It was normal for her to feel alone.

Still, Rowan couldn’t believe Daniel would treat her unfairly.

How could he scold such a sweet little girl?

He rembered how Daniel publicly accepted Kane as his son during a live broadcast. It was clear he cared for him.

Steph was his child too. So why didn’t he treat her the sa way?

Could it be that Daniel only cared more about boys than girls?

At that mont, Daniel slamd his cup on the table when he heard that his precious daughter was missing.

"Find her! If you can’t bring her back in thirty minutes, all of you can go to hell!"

Daniel couldn’t handle the thought that Steph might be in danger.

What if she was crying alone sowhere, scared and helpless?

What if soone had taken her?

"Sir, K-Kane is missing too!" the bodyguard stamred in fear.

Kane was just at the amusent park a mont ago. How did he suddenly vanish?

"You can’t even watch over a child. What are you all doing?" Ashton snapped in anger.

The bodyguards kept their heads down. No one dared to speak.

They didn’t expect both of Mr. Wilson’s children to disappear.

"Find them! Now!" Daniel shouted as he stord out.

Ashton quickly reminded him, "Sir, the board mbers are still waiting in the eting room."

"Let Jude handle it. He can take over for now."

"Sir, should we inform Mrs. Wilson?"

"She’s dealing with the boutique issue. Don’t disturb her." Daniel said through gritted teeth.

He could only hope they would find the kids soon.

What if Chantelle loses her trust in if she finds out the kids are gone?
