"Nope. He’s been allergic since he was a kid. No one in the Wilson family touches crayfish. Didn’t you notice when you were living with them?"

Chantelle’s hands clenched at her sides. She couldn’t believe it. Her face darkened as the anger bubbled up inside her.

He lied to .

When Philip saw her face turn cold, he quickly tried to say sothing to ease the tension. "Well, Chantie..."

But before he could continue, her phone buzzed with a notification from Instagram.

It was a ssage from Kane, "Dearest Mommy, don’t panic if soone says your beloved son won’t talk anymore. I’m perfectly fine!"

He even added a few pictures of himself looking confident and stylish.

Chantelle frowned in confusion and typed back, "My dearest son, you look amazing. But why don’t you want to speak?"

Kane replied, "I want to be a quiet handso man."

Chantelle typed, "Speak the truth."

Kane answered coolly, "I never lie."

She shot back, "You think I’ll fall for that? Where are you? When are you coming back?"

Kane replied, "Rai and I are with Mr. Charles. We’re not coming ho tonight. Please rest well, Mommy. I’m tired. Goodnight!"

Chantelle narrowed her eyes and quickly texted, "Tired this early? Do you really expect to believe that, Kane Bently?"

When she saw Kane had gone offline, Chantelle let out a sigh and shook her head. That little troublemaker was definitely up to sothing again. She wondered who his next victim would be.

anwhile, Camille had just woken up in the hospital. She was furious and lost control. She smash everything in the room and even hit Anthony so hard it left a bruise on his head.

The more she thought about it, the more it didn’t make sense.

It was the middle of the day so how could I have run into a ghost? It’s so embarrassing!

She then shouted, "It had to be that brat! He planned this! Anthony, go catch him and find out what’s going on!"

Anthony’s legs almost gave out. He bowed his head and said nervously, "Ms. Nelsen... he’s Mr. Wilson’s son."

"Why should I keep silent just because he’s Daniel’s son? I wouldn’t have made a scene at the company if it wasn’t for that boy. Now that things have blown up, how am I supposed to be with Daniel? That brat ruined everything!" Camille yelled.

Anthony quickly suggested, "Well... Mr. Wilson was busy and didn’t see what happened at the elevator. As long as no one talks about it, he’ll never find out. Please don’t worry, Ms. Nelsen."

"Wasn’t it Daniel who took to the hospital?" she asked.

When she noticed Anthony’s hesitation, she scoffed. "Maybe that’s the only good thing that ca out of this ss."

Her anger flared again as she rembered how ssy she looked in the elevator.

Thankfully, Daniel didn’t see it.

"I’m glad you see my point, Ms. Nelsen. I heard the little boy was taken to the hospital. They said he was too scared."

"He was scared?" Camille blinked in disbelief. "Why is he always such a headache?"

"He’s just a five-year-old child, Ms. Nelsen," Anthony reminded her gently.

But she didn’t listen. "Didn’t you see how irritating he was? That boy is far from normal! What hospital is he in? I want to see him," she snapped.

Anthony hesitated, trying to stop her. "H-he’s in the room next door. Ms. Nelsen, please rember, he’s Mr. Wilson’s son. Maybe it’s best to let things go. If Mr. Wilson finds out..."

"I want Daniel to know! He needs to see for himself that the boy is useless! He should cut ties with him already," Camille said angrily, storming out before Anthony could stop her.

"Ms. Nelsen..." Anthony called out her na as he followed her quickly.

"Don’t even try to stop ! Take to him now!" she demanded.

Left with no choice, Anthony led her to the VIP room next door.

Inside, Kane was lying in bed, playing with his phone. He had just finished talking to his mom and was about to ssage Railer when soone suddenly yanked the blanket away from him.

"Hey, you little brat. After everything you did, you still have the nerve to stay here?" Camille barked. "Who told you to do it? Was it that woman, Chantelle Bently?"

Camille grabbed Kane by the collar and glared at him. On her way to the room earlier, she had co to a conclusion.

This kid is just five. There’s no way he ca up with all this on his own. It must’ve been that woman—Chantelle Bently! What a coward, using a child to do her dirty work. Disgusting!

"Ah!" Camille suddenly scread in pain. Kane had just bitten her arm.

At first, Kane just wanted to act cute and sneak away. But when he heard Camille insulting his mom, his bad side ca out.

He couldn’t let anyone talk about Chantelle like that. So, he bit her hard.

Camille tossed him back onto the bed, and Kane landed on his backside. It hurt. So he cried loudly on purpose, hoping everyone in the hospital would hear him.

His cries were so loud that the entire dical team ca rushing in, led by Russell himself.

"What do you think you’re doing? This is a hospital! How could you bully a kid like this in the middle of the night? Have you no sha?" Russell shouted.

"? I’m the one who got bit!" Camille yelled, holding up her arm. "He’s just like his mother—rotten from birth!"

Russell was stunned. Did she just curse my boss and his son? This woman must have a death wish.

He was about to walk over and slap her when he suddenly heard her cry out in pain. "Ah!"

A bee had stung Camille’s hand. The pain was even worse than the bite Kane gave her. But the little bee didn’t seem scared of people.

It stuck to her hand and wouldn’t let go. Camille was so terrified that her whole body shook like she was having a seizure.

It took her a while to finally shake the bee off and drop it to the ground.

She rushed forward, trying to stomp on it. But her foot slipped, and she ended up doing the splits right there. The pain was so bad, she couldn’t even get up.

Russell was holding Kane and comforting him.

When he saw Camille fall, his eyes widened and his mouth fell open in shock.
