Chantelle’s face turned cold the mont she saw it.
She should’ve known this guy, who had been begging her for forgiveness, was nothing but a scumbag.
He was still married, yet his eyes were clearly on soone else. And now, he suddenly had a fiancée too? Unbelievable.
He must really think he’s sothing! Chantelle gritted her teeth as she thought it.
"Daniel, what’s wrong? Aren’t you happy to see ?" Camille pouted and tried to act cute.
"I’ll ask Ashton to take you ho," Daniel said flatly, without any emotion.
"What? You’re already sending back? Is it because I didn’t co to see you first when I arrived in Easthan? I wanted to finish my work before seeing you. But then I ran into this arrogant woman. Look! She even left marks on my arm!"
Camille waved her arm in front of him, trying to get his attention.
Chantelle couldn’t take it anymore. She felt sick to her stomach.
She stood up without showing any emotion and headed for the door.
She simply said, "Step aside" as she walked past them.
Daniel’s eyes widened in shock.
"My wife!" he called out and his face lit up the mont he saw her.
However, just as he was about to follow her, soone yelled.
Camille walked over and grabbed Chantelle by the shirt.
"You awful woman! You haven’t even apologized to ! I’m not letting you go!"
She held Chantelle’s sleeve tightly and put so effort into looking cute even while yelling.
Calvin quietly followed behind and squeezed between them.
When he passed by in front of Daniel, he gave him a look full of pity and mixed emotions.
It was like he was saying, "Mr. Wilson, good luck. You’re in deep trouble this ti."
"Let go!"
Daniel and Chantelle shouted the words at almost the sa ti.
Camille was stunned and couldn’t believe what she just had heard. Her hand shook as she pulled it away.
"Daniel....what did you just call her?"
She was still shocked, but before she could get an answer, Daniel pushed her aside.
Chantelle noticed Camille had let go of her sleeve, so she kept walking. But Daniel suddenly grabbed her hand.
"My wife, you’re hurt!"
"This has nothing to do with you." Chantelle tried to pull her hand back, annoyed, but Daniel wouldn’t let go of her.
"What are you saying? You’re my wife. No one will ever care about you more than I do." Daniel gently held Chantelle’s arm. His brows were furrowed as he checked it carefully, clearly worried.
"Daniel, your fiancée is right there. Do you even realize that? Are you seriously pretending in front of everyone?" Chantelle looked at him with disappointnt in her eyes.
She didn’t even know how she felt anymore. She told herself to stay calm around him. But the mont she saw him, a heavy feeling rose in her chest. She felt hurt. She even wanted to cry.
"What fiancée are you talking about?" Daniel looked confused.
"Mr. Wilson, Ms. Nelsen said she’s your fiancée. She barged into our office with her n and caused trouble. You can see the evidence yourself." Calvin said and tily added a fire to the fla.
"Ms. Chantelle’s arm was hurt by your fiancée’s assistant."
Calvin pulled Anthony up from the floor, even though he was still groaning in pain. He wanted to push the situation further and see how Daniel would react.
If Daniel’s heart was with soone else, Calvin wouldn’t let him keep hurting her.
"Ashton!"
"I’m here, sir!"
"Go ask him which hand he used to hurt Chantelle. You know what to do."
"Yes, sir!"
Ashton had been watching everything from the sidelines, but now he was fired up. He couldn’t just stand there anymore.
Who were these people, coming in and ruining Mr. and Mrs. Wilson’s relationship and hurting Mrs. Wilson on top of that?
This was his chance to prove himself. He had to protect them both.
When Ashton walked toward him, Anthony quickly crawled over to Camille, begging for rcy.
"No! Stay away from ! Ms. Nelsen, help !"
But Ashton didn’t ask anything. He simply broke both of Anthony’s arms.
After that, he turned to Daniel and said, "Sir, I think he lost his mind from the shock. There’s no need to ask which hand he used to hurt Ms. Chantelle."
"Daniel, are you really saying this woman is your wife?" Camille asked coldly. She was furious after seeing Ashton punish Anthony, but she held back her anger and acted clueless in front of Daniel.
"Yes, she’s my wife. Now, Ms. Nelsen, I’d like to know what you did to upset her?"
"It’s... it’s all just a misunderstanding. I don’t mind it anymore..." Camille thought Daniel was speaking up for her, so she tried to smooth things over.
But then she realized he was actually blaming her.
She froze in disbelief.
"Daniel, I only ca here to hand in my application. But I was ignored and treated unfairly. I was even frad. Anthony intervened because he saw being bullied. That’s why he brought those n. I had no idea this woman was your wife. I’m sorry for what happened."
Camille chose her words carefully, but deep down, she felt like the most mistreated woman in the world.
Chantelle looked at her and almost burst out laughing.
This woman really knew how to act. With just a few words, she twisted everything and made it seem like it was all Chantelle’s fault again.
Now she said Chantelle falsely accused her first, and that’s what made her n lose control and wreck the place.
So Camille was the victim now? Really?
Chantelle couldn’t hold back her emotions anymore.
Camille was openly trying to flirt with her husband right in front of her.
Even if Chantelle didn’t care much about her relationship with Daniel, she wouldn’t let this shaless woman win.
"You sure speak to him like you’re close to him. But as far as I know, my husband doesn’t have a little sister. You don’t even have the sa family na. Or are you the long-lost illegitimate daughter of the Wilson family?"
"You!"
"So, if you’re not, maybe don’t act so familiar with him. I’m still legally married to Daniel. When you talk to him like that, it makes you look like one of those side won rich n used to keep. I don’t really care, but I doubt you’d want to start calling ’sister,’ right?"
Chantelle didn’t bother to hide her sarcasm.
Camille’s face twisted in rage.
