She gave Long Yubei a call.
It was only on the second attempt that the call got through.
"I’m taking the kids out to play today, just letting you know."
"Go ahead, be safe."
"That’s settled then." Jun Li hung up the phone and gave the two kids an OK gesture, "All set, let’s go."
"This is just unreasonable!" stars beat his chest and stamped his feet, "Why? Why is this happening?! Hearing her agree, the two kids exchanged a smile and quickly followed along.
They went to a nearby store and chose a seat by the window.
Each child grabbed a nu and started ordering back and forth.
"Three spicy chicken wings."
"Three servings of fries."
"Three crispy seaweed shrimps."
"Three servings of popcorn chicken."
"Three chicken burgers."
"Six egg tarts."
"Three cups of apple juice."
"..."
Once all the food they ordered was on the table, the two kids started eating right away, saying as they ate, "Xiao Li, Dad wouldn’t let us eat this stuff."
Choosing this mont to say it seed like it didn’t matter anymore...
"Eating it occasionally isn’t a big deal."
stars agreed wholeheartedly, "Exactly, Dad is too strict with us, other dads pick up their kids from school every day, but when Dad picks up my brother and , we both think he’s acting erratically. Other dads let their kids ride on their shoulders like a horse, but our dad never allowed it since we can rember. Other dads are so gentle with their kids, but my dad... it’s really indescribable."
