Gu Lili bought vegetables and returned to the cave dwelling.
Lin Yue’er and Su Changzhi were not there again.
"Sister Chuntao, when will Sister Lin be back?"
"Why ask about this?"
Silencing herself with one sentence, Gu Lili did not inquire further.
It was a little past seven in the evening when Lin Yue’er ca back.
Su Changzhi wasn’t with her, only she returned alone.
Chuntao asked what she wanted to eat, she ntioned wanting hotpot, so Chuntao busily went to prepare, setting up the hotpot stand before her and personally prepared the ingredients to cook for her.
Gu Lili, as always, obediently stayed in her room. Lin Yue’er ate hotpot and drank a bit of alcohol; she didn’t allow herself to drink too much and cause trouble.
"Where is the Ninth Prince?" Chuntao curiously asked, "Why didn’t he co back with you?"
"He’s gone back to the mansion to fetch sothing, he’ll be here in a while." Lin Yue’er instructed, "What about the little maidservant you recruited?"
"She’s in her room, she’s not allowed to co out at night."
"Call her to co massage my feet."
"Alright, I’ll call her now."
Lin Yue’er didn’t let Chuntao massage her feet because she wanted Chuntao to cook for her; she felt uneasy at the thought of her using the sa hands to cook after massaging.
Therefore, she had never asked Chuntao for this service.
Gu Lili ca over, performing her role well. In front of Lin Yue’er, she didn’t even dare to look her in the eye, and knelt down to massage her feet.
"Won look so unsightly squatting, kneel instead."
She obediently knelt down, her movents neither too light nor too heavy. As Su Changzhi wasn’t there, Lin Yue’er inevitably made conversation to pass the ti, "How old are you?"
"20 years old."
"Do you have a boyfriend?"
"I had one, but we broke up."
Lin Yue’er leisurely asked another question, "What’s your na?"
"Ding Xiang."
She scoffed, "What a silly na, so unsophisticated."
Gu Lili kept her head down and focused on massaging the feet. Lin Yue’er’s sole itched, so she said, "Use a bit more strength."
She complied, but after putting a bit more force, she hurt Lin Yue’er. Lin Yue’er lifted her leg and kicked Gu Lili in the face, "Are you even capable of massaging?! Are you trying to kill ?"
"I’m sorry, I’ll be gentler," Gu Lili said, looking scared of her.
"Idiot, continue," she extended her foot towards Gu Lili again.
At this mont, Su Changzhi returned and both began to mutually toast and show affection.
When Lin Yue’er noticed she kept glancing at Su Changzhi, she grew displeased, and picked up a wine bottle and smashed it on Gu Lili’s forehead. A sharp pain surged as blood flowed down her face.
Just as Gu Lili was about to let go of Lin Yue’er’s foot to cover the wound, Lin Yue’er’s fierce gaze stopped her, "What are you looking at? He’s my man; if you glance again I’ll dig out your eyeballs, continue massaging!"
Seeing the situation, Su Changzhi intervened to ease the evening, "Let her go back to her room. She’s lost quite a bit of blood, and it’s really quite upsetting to watch."
Thus, Lin Yue’er magnanimously waved her hand and said, "Get lost."
"Yes," Gu Lili’s voice was faint as a mosquito’s, she stood up covering the wound on her head and left.
Seeing her co out like this, Chuntao eventually gave her dicine and cotton, "Take care of it yourself."
Gu Lili endured the pain and treated her wound in front of the mirror.
Blood stread down her hands, neck; she was on the verge of fainting.
Damned Lin Yue’er, her actions were so ruthless—she didn’t regard people as human beings. I really wished to flay her alive!
I truly want to see how she will look when the Half Moon Enchantnt gets exposed.
Gu Lili grimaced through the pain as she cleaned her wound, just sat back on her bed, when Chuntao called out to her again, "Go clean up the hotpot, I have to step out for a bit."
