He was dumbfounded, repeatedly scooping up ice cream before hesitantly asking, "You two aren’t joking with , are you?"

"I really didn’t see it." Antonio looked at her earnestly, "How much are you investing?"
"I want to be the big boss. Since you’ll be going back to the country eventually, why don’t we partner up? So, I’ll invest thirty million." Gu Lili thought ahead, leaving this to Antonio and considering Long Group’s resources, it was highly unlikely they’d lose money.
"Lili, anyone who says again that you ca from the mountains without any experience, I’ll be the first to disagree." Antonio also considered the Long Group aspect and agreed readily, "Alright, it’s settled."
That evening, after running, Gu Lili opened the door and imdiately saw him leaning on the headboard, holding a tablet in his right hand and a cigarette between the fingers of his left. Seeing her enter, Long Yubei extinguished the cigarette in the ashtray, "Co here."
She stepped forward, "What’s up?"
"Gu Lili, you’re really aweso."
"Don’t call by my na, call wife."
"Wife." He obediently complied.
"Say it a few more tis."
"..." Long Yubei obligingly repeated it more than a dozen tis, "Is that enough? Co on, wife, lie in my arms, let your husband give you a good hug."
Out of nowhere, she felt goosebumps all over, "No, I’m going to take a shower."
"We can shower together?" he suggested, "How about a couples’ package?"
"I’ll shower alone." She turned, grabbed her pajamas, and headed for the bathroom.
Long Yubei was in a great mood and quietly followed her after she entered the bathroom.
"I’ll wash your back."
Seeing his thick-skinned entrance, Gu Lili went along, "Washing my back is just an excuse, you really want to do sothing else."
He didn’t deny it, "Lili, you’re less and less reliant on , which makes both relieved and upset, feeling like I’m useless in front of you."
"Don’t talk about yourself like that, after all, I don’t need you during the day, but I certainly do at night."
His eyes shone, "How much do you need ?"
"Being with you, I feel complete." She said cryptically, "Because you fill the part I’m missing."
Long Yubei was particularly pleased, his ears reddening, he stared at her for a few seconds and then cupped her face and kissed her, their bodies pressed tight together.
Gu Lili tiptoed to et his kiss and laughed, baffling him.
"What’s so funny?"
"Ever since we got married, whenever we’re together, there’s hardly a ti we don’t do it. Won’t we get tired of it one day?"
"Hard to say, no one can predict that."
"Do you think those people in their fifties and sixties still have a sex life?"
"Of course, it’s just probably less frequent." He replied, then continued, "Talking about this now, don’t you think it’s a mood killer?"

What should have been a twenty-minute bath, they dallied for nearly an hour.
Just as she was about to sleep, he pulled her to the edge of the bed, "Dry your hair before sleeping."
Gu Lili looked up into his eyes, felt a wave of relief wash over her, and peacefully closed her eyes, enjoying him blow-drying her hair.
This seemingly ordinary and quiet life filled her with bliss, making her wish she could live like this every day.
"I want to be by your side like this till old age."
