Shi Xiaotian hadn’t been back to her parents’ house for many days, and tonight she finally found so ti to visit.
To her surprise, as soon as she walked in, she saw her sister was there too.
"I’m back."
"Co here, I have sothing to ask you," Shi Fei’s voice ca.
Shi Xiaotian approached, "What is it?"
"Did Shen Congmo get back together with Long Fengxi?"
"Why are you asking ?" She couldn’t be bothered to answer, "If you want to know so badly, why don’t you go ask yourself?"
"Aren’t you Liang He’s agent?" Shi Fei replied, "I saw a photo in my friends circle these past few days, one of my friends bumped into Liang He and Shen Congmo drinking at a bar together. They must be friends, how could you not know?"
"They are friends, but that doesn’t an they would share their personal feelings with ." Shi Xiaotian, recalling what she had heard from Liang He, couldn’t help but ask, "When did you have a kid? How co I didn’t know you had a child?"
Hearing this, Mother Shi hastily asked, "What child?"
"Mom, you probably don’t know, but my sister sohow got a child, bribed a doctor at the A City Identification Center to claim the child was hers, fathered by Shen Congmo. But then Shen Congmo didn’t just go to B City for a paternity test, but also sent samples abroad. Really, Shi Fei, don’t say you know when you go out, I find it embarrassing."
"Is that so?" Mother Shi looked at her eldest daughter in surprise, "How could you be so foolish, do you even have a brain? She grabbed her bag and left without turning her head, not stopping until she was out of the apartnt building. Looking at the dilapidated housing of the complex, disappointnt was the only thing in Shi Xiaotian’s eyes.
Her father took a mistress, her mother was a kept woman, and her sister followed in their footsteps.
She felt sowhat fortunate that she hadn’t been led astray, despite growing up in such a family. A rare feat indeed.
She ca back to visit every now and then, but it was rely the fragnt of affection from being raised here that haunted her.
