Of course, this doesn’t imply that I’m letting Tong Yan off, but we don’t have ti to deal with her now. Mubai’s eyes darkened further. "Don’t you feel wronged?"

"I’ll join you," Mubai blurted out without much thought. Then, he started to blush from his misspoken words.
Xinghe stared curiously at him. Her clear eyes seed to say, Join ? Do you want to die?
