Su Mu looked at Fu Shinian in shock:

"What are you going to do?"

Fu Shinian’s lips curled up slightly as he licked the blood off the corner of his mouth, showing a faint smile, "What I want to do to you is sothing we used to do every day years ago, Su Mu..."

Fu Shinian leaned close to Su Mu’s ear, "You have no idea how much I’ve missed your taste these three years..."

Su Mu shivered uncontrollably upon hearing this; she could feel that Fu Shinian’s words weren’t just empty talk—he could truly act on them, and it frightened her. She struggled vehently to break free, but Fu Shinian’s grip only tightened, as he pulled himself even closer to her:

"What are you afraid of? It’s not like we haven’t done it before, or do you feel shy? You were also reserved when we first got married, but eventually, you grew accustod and adapted. Although we haven’t done it in three years, I believe we are still very familiar with each other’s bodies, don’t you think?"

"Fu Shinian!" Su Mu roared in a low voice, but realized she didn’t know what to accuse him of; it seed no matter what she said, he wouldn’t care, and she truly didn’t know how to express her feelings at that mont.

"Su Mu, I’m not giving you much ti. Today, because Qiqi is here, I won’t do anything to you, but how long do you think you can hide from ? Or do you think if I’ve endured three years, I could endure another three?"

Su Mu looked at him:

"Xu Yansu offers herself to you, and you don’t want her, but you’re here pestering ? Fu Shinian, have you still not learned the least bit of respect?"

"Don’t ntion Xu Yansu; even if all the won in the entertainnt circle were standing in front of , I’m afraid I wouldn’t care for them." Fu Shinian smiled slightly, moving closer to Su Mu’s neck, his breath so tantalizing she half-expected him to pounce and take a bite, but he didn’t. Instead, he left a light kiss that made Su Mu involuntarily tremble. The next second, she heard his voice:

"Having tasted you, how could I stomach anyone else?"

Su Mu glared at him fiercely, while Fu Shinian just smiled. He had intended to kiss her again, but at that mont, the locksmith knocked on the door, and Fu Shinian could feel Su Mu’s obvious sigh of relief. He raised an eyebrow, slightly disappointed as he said,

"If I weren’t afraid of waking Qiqi, I wouldn’t go open this door."

He nonetheless kissed Su Mu lightly on the lips before letting her go and walking towards the door. Su Mu watched his retreating figure, took a deep breath, and quickly locked the door again after he left. She then silently entered the bathroom a few seconds later.

At the door, Fu Shinian took out his wallet, casually pulled out a couple of bills to hand to the man, and smiled gently,

"A misunderstanding; I have the key. Sorry to have troubled you."

The man accepted the money with a smile and left. Fu Shinian glanced back at the bedroom door, then softly touched his lips. Although they hurt, the touch of Su Mu still lingered, unforgettable. Fu Shinian did not deny. He had dreamt of possessing Su Mu again so intensely it hurt.

Su Mu’s mind was in complete disarray due to Fu Shinian’s earlier brazenness. She finally snapped back to reality under the shower and ant to leave the bathroom when she realized she hadn’t brought any clothes with her. Although this had happened occasionally in the past, and Qiqi would help, but now Qiqi was still sleeping in the room, leaving Su Mu with no choice but to step out in a thin bath towel.

She was alone in the room with only Qiqi, normally no cause for concern. However, the mont Su Mu stepped out of the bathroom and headed for the bedroom, she froze, confronting the unexpected person in the living room, holding her breath in sheer astonishnt, forgetting her vulnerability:

"Why are you still here?"

Fu Shinian was about to say sothing as he put down the magazine, but the words caught in his throat. He hadn’t expected Su Mu to erge in just a bath towel, barefoot. This tested his restraint.

Su Mu, seeing the way Fu Shinian looked at her, quickly realized her state of undress and turned, heading back to the bedroom without looking back, no longer caring how Fu Shinian had gotten there. But how could Fu Shinian miss such an opportunity? He followed Su Mu into the master bedroom and helpfully closed the door behind her.

A classic case of bringing the wolf into the house—Su Mu understood it thoroughly at that mont.

She wanted to open the door and leave, but Fu Shinian’s hand on the door made it impossible for her to flee. Stuck and considering her current vulnerable state, Su Mu didn’t bother to confront him further but instead walked into the walk-in closet to retrieve a bathrobe. She hadn’t even put it on before Fu Shinian snatched it away and threw it aside:

"Why put anything on?"

Su Mu clutched the bath towel tightly to her chest, her eyes full of defense:

"Fu Shinian, don’t make hate you."

"You think I care?" Fu Shinian stepped closer, while Su Mu found herself backed up against the cupboard with no way out, "I’ve said it before, I would rather you hate than be utterly indifferent towards , at least there’s so feeling, isn’t there?"

As Fu Shinian reached out to touch Su Mu, she swatted his hand away, trying to escape the enclosed space, only to be blocked by him:

"The room is only so big, where could you escape to?"

Su Mu glared at him:

"Do you really want to wake up Qiqi so she can see her father commit an offense?"

"I think you wouldn’t treat your daughter that way."

"You never know." Su Mu looked at Fu Shinian, "I don’t lose anything. At most, Qiqi won’t have a father. But she’s never had that role in her life. Although she had your company this past month, it was still too short, a habit barely ford. If we part ways now, I won’t be too saddened. Who knows, she might forget you after a while."

Fu Shinian squinted at her, then slowly smiled,

"Su Mu, you might dodge today, but will you escape tomorrow? I want you, and I can find any reason to send Qiqi away. Then what will you do? Threaten with death?"

"If it really cos to that, it would be because you forced ."

Fu Shinian watched her for a few seconds, licked his lips, then backed up a few steps to sit down on the changing bench in the walk-in closet. Although Su Mu didn’t show it, she was relieved inside. Seeing this, Fu Shinian smiled slightly:

"Su Mu, I won’t let you die, but you, I have to have."
