Chapter 854: Chapter 854: A Bit of an Eyesore

"Brother Gong, what’s wrong?"

Lan Shan looked up, noticing the strangeness in his expression, and couldn’t help but ask.

Gong Shaoyu didn’t answer, his brows furrowed tightly, gripping the chopsticks with a bit more force, as if trying hard to endure sothing.

She quickly understood what was happening, grabbed a napkin, extended her arm to hand it to him, and said with a cheeky smile, "Is it too spicy?"

He reached out to take it, still silent, putting the chopsticks down on the table.

"Brother Gong, have so water."

She poured another glass of water and handed it to him.

Just monts ago she was wondering why only she had eaten it, and less than two minutes later, Gong Shaoyu tasted the wasabi. Was it heaven hearing her thoughts?

Standing next to her, with curled eyebrows, trying not to laugh but failing miserably.

Gong Shaoyu turned his head, gave her a glance, and couldn’t hold back anymore, leaning back in his chair, covering his mouth, tightly closing his eyes.

His shoulders twitched heavily, coughed suddenly, feeling as though his entire mouth was on fire, uncomfortable.

"It’s a bit eye-watering."

After a good ten seconds, he finally spoke.

"Brother Gong, I was just thinking, how co only I ate it, and within less than two minutes, you were hit too."

She half-squatted in front of the table, propping herself up with one hand, tilting her head to look at him, smiling with curved eyebrows.

Gong Shaoyu didn’t want to talk...

He didn’t want to say anything, really wondering who invented this, it’s choking...

The less he spoke, the brighter Lan Shan’s smile beca, even letting out a light laugh.

He gave her an annoyed side glance, gently knocked her forehead with his hand, and spoke up, "If you hadn’t wrapped this thing inside, could I have eaten it?"

The voice was sowhat hoarse, showing that he was truly choked badly.

"I only wrapped two, the rest were wrapped by you." Lan Shan rubbed her forehead, replied dissatisfiedly. She won’t take the bla; clearly, he wrapped more than she did!

Gong Shaoyu: "..."

Finally understood what it ans to reap what you sow...

Stopped eating what’s in the bowl, got up directly, kicked away the chair behind him, threw the napkin into the trash can, and then went to the living room.

Lan Shan stood in place, reached out to touch the spot where he knocked earlier, slightly dazed, as if the force he used to tap her was still there.

She slightly curled her lips and smiled...

The girl’s lovely face was fixated on the TV screen, her smile as radiant as a flower, which unexpectedly cald his originally work-irritated mood.

It seed as if, seeing her smile, all worries would disappear like smoke...
