Chapter 782: Chapter 782: Change of Residence

After watching for a while, he started helping to tidy up, picking up things from the floor and putting them back in place. He then grabbed a broom to clean the floor. The two of them worked together, and soon the bedroom was tidied up. Qin Yin went to the kitchen, poured two glasses of water, and handed one to him.

"Thanks." He reached out, took a sip, and glanced around the bedroom before speaking again, "Does this happen often here?"

Hearing his words, Qin Yin’s expression changed slightly, realizing she had asked sothing she shouldn’t have. She smiled and changed the subject, "What do you want for lunch? I heard there’s a good restaurant around here."

"Not often, maybe once every few months." I tightened my grip on the cup, and Mo Han was taken aback, voicing the doubt in his heart, "Then why don’t you call the police? This is breaking and entering."

Call the police, does it help? She really wanted to, but she just couldn’t bring herself to do it.

Suddenly, with a bitter smile, "It’s okay, once he can’t find what he’s looking for, he’ll leave."

Upon hearing this, Mo Han frowned. Is it possible that he’s just allowed to ss around like that? Suddenly thinking of sothing, he spoke up, "A few months ago, when you were in the hospital, was it also because of him?"

"Hmm..." Not wanting to bring up the past, she smiled, "It’s fine now. He probably won’t co around for a while." With that, she turned around and continued tidying the house.

Behind her, Mo Han suddenly spoke up, "Have you ever thought about moving to a different place?"

Her steps halted, and she turned back, looking at him in confusion, "Moving to a different place? In Z City, it’s not easy to find a new place to live, right?"

As she finished speaking, Mo Han suddenly put the cup down and leaned against the table as if contemplating sothing. After a while, he spoke, "You certainly can’t stay here. You also said he didn’t find what he was looking for. I don’t know who you’re referring to, but I feel he won’t give up easily."

"If you don’t mind, you can move to my place for now. There’s an empty room just waiting." Concerned she might misunderstand, he continued, "It’s hard to find a place quickly, and it’s not safe for you to stay here. You might as well move to my place for now, and then move out once you find sowhere."

Qin Yin: "Isn’t that inappropriate?"

"What’s wrong with it? I already said, only if you don’t mind."

Hearing his words, Qin Yin thought for a while. She had been planning to move, but recently, in her search, the places were either too far from her company or the rent was too expensive; she just hadn’t found a suitable one.

But, if she goes to his place, a single man and woman living together, wouldn’t that be inappropriate?

As if reading her mind, he added, "I often go on business trips with Rui, and when busy, I stay at the office. I’m rarely ho."

After a mont’s hesitation, she considered that his place was really nice. At least, it would temporarily help her avoid that person. Once she found a place, she planned to move out imdiately. With that in mind, she nodded.

"So, how much is your monthly rent?"

Mo Han was silent for a mont, then responded, "Just pay whatever you feel like. Since you’ve decided, let’s get moving first to avoid any chance of that person returning."

"Hmm..." She nodded slightly, cleaned the house thoroughly, then packed the things she needed to bring along into a suitcase, and took the unwanted items downstairs to throw away.

She contacted the landlord, who was very straightforward, directly signing the termination of the lease, calculating this month’s expenses, and returning her deposit when she rented the place. Qin Yin also returned the keys to her.....
