Chapter 399: Chapter 398: Who Are You?

Turning the corner, Beichen Rui patted Jingxi on the back, then walked up to Ye Xinluo and handed the little guy over to her.

Ye Xinluo was a bit puzzled by his intentions and asked, "What’s wrong?"

"Take the little guy and leave first." After speaking, he gave her a aningful look.

Ye Xinluo was taken aback but still did as he said, holding the little guy’s hand and heading towards the exit.

After they had walked for a while, a figure erged from the shadows, dressed entirely in black with a baseball cap, making it impossible to discern their features.

Just as they were about to continue following, two figures suddenly appeared about a ter in front of them.

Beichen Rui and Gong Shaoyu stood there, looking at the man.

"Who are you?"

There was no response. Beichen Rui wasn’t annoyed, just lightly curled his lips and continued, "You’ve been following us for so long, must have been tough."

They had noticed sothing was wrong as early as the cable car ride, initially thinking it was a coincidence, but didn’t expect it to continue for such a long ti.

Upon hearing this, the man was taken aback and exclaid in shock, "How did you know?" The voice was completely unrecognizable due to a voice changer.

He continued, "You know too much, so you’ll pay with your lives." He pulled out sothing dark and ominous from his waist.

Based on their experience, they easily identified it as a gun... entering this amusent park required a thorough check... such items were absolutely not allowed.

Unless, he had snuck in from sowhere else.

Gong Shaoyu and Beichen Rui exchanged a glance, then both moved to stand on either side of the man.

The man swiftly turned and fired a shot at Beichen Rui.

Beichen Rui slightly turned his body, effortlessly dodging it, then in the next second, lifted his left leg aiming for the man’s abdon.

The man staggered back a few steps, fired two more shots. Visitors who were approaching from not far off heard the gunshots and panicked imdiately.

"Help... murder!!"

The crowd dispersed at once, running frantically in all directions. Workers hiding in the shadows heard the commotion, only assuming they were frightened.

In this place, hearing cries of "help" or "murder" was not unusual. The lack of such screams would indeed be strange.

Ignoring it all, they continued to hide in the shadows.

On the other side, the man fired two shots, both dodged by Beichen Rui. At this ti, Gong Shaoyu moved rapidly in front of him, extending his hand and delivering a palm strike to the man’s chest.

He staggered backward a few steps and, once steady, threw the gun away and swung his fists at the two.

Beichen Rui and Gong Shaoyu, like long-ti friends, coordinated seamlessly, and it wasn’t long before the man was at a disadvantage.

He half-knelt on the ground, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, and squinted while assessing the two in front of him.

They were professionally trained, but why did it feel like playing house in front of these two?

He pulled out a short knife and charged at Beichen Rui, but before he could even reach him, Beichen Rui slightly shifted his body and kicked him in the abdon.

He reached out with his left hand, grabbed the man’s hand, and with a strong pull, perford a beautiful over-the-shoulder throw. The man grunted, clutching his abdon and rolling on the ground.

Stepping forward, he placed a foot on the man’s chest, speaking coldly, "Speak, who sent you?"

The man let out a sinister laugh, and in the next mont, blood trickled from his mouth, and he closed his eyes.

Gong Shaoyu stepped forward, checked his breath, "Dead."

Standing up, he brushed off his hands nonchalantly, "They ca prepared for this."

Beichen Rui said nothing, lightly pursing his lips.

"Ah..."
