Ye Xinluo was a bit startled, sowhat confused, "Why do I have to help him inside?"

"Alright." Ye Xinluo nodded, supporting Beichen Rui as they walked into the house. Housekeeper Lin stood at the doorway, smiled, and only left after a long while.
Helping him to the bedside, she let him lie on the bed. Through the bedside lamp, she noticed his face was flush red, with beads of sweat seeping from his forehead.
She didn’t want to care at first, but her body moved on its own to the bathroom, wetting a towel and returning to the bedside to wipe his forehead.
Maybe it was the cold touch that made his furrowed brow relax a bit, and only then did Ye Xinluo breathe a sigh of relief, intending to withdraw her hand.
But he suddenly grabbed it and pulled hard, causing her to fall onto him.

She was stunned for a couple of seconds, staring at the man’s chin, unsure what she was thinking.
