Although he had already explained, Lan Shan’s face was still terribly red. She pushed him away and ran out of the alley, ignoring everything.
As she ran out of the alley, she happened to catch a cab and got in without saying a word.
When Gong Shaoyu chased after her, she was already gone, which made him feel a bit annoyed. It seed that he had used the dumbest thod just now, and he probably seed like a thug to Lan Shan now.
At that mont, his phone rang in his pocket. He took it out and answered.
"Hello."
"Shaoyu? How co you answered the phone? Didn’t they say you were drunk?"
Gong Shaoyu replied, "She went back first. Where are you?"
"I’m at the bar entrance, I just went inside to look for you guys but didn’t see you. Where are you?"
Gong Shaoyu thought for a mont and gave him a rough location. Ten minutes later, Qiao Rui drove to the alley entrance.
He opened the car door, got in, and sat in the back seat without saying a word.
Glancing through the rearview mirror, he tentatively asked, "Shaoyu, so, are we still going back to Arica?"
There was no imdiate response. After a while, he finally said, "Let’s not go back for now, let’s head back to the hotel!"
Qiao Rui was stunned, and without thinking, he blurted out, "But, I heard that Ye..."
Before he could finish, he noticed from the corner of his eye that Shaoyu’s expression wasn’t right and wisely shut his mouth, starting the car to leave. No one spoke again along the way, and the atmosphere in the car was chillingly cold.
Once back at the hotel, Gong Shaoyu shut himself in his room. Seeing him like this, Qiao Rui sighed helplessly and turned back to his own room.

Lan Shan didn’t head straight to the hospital; instead, she went to Ye Xinluo’s place, thinking she might stay at the hospital for a couple of days, and needed to grab so clothes.
She opened the door, put the key on the cabinet, and then walked towards the bedroom in her slippers. She went to Ye Xinluo’s room, picked up a few changes of clothes, and packed them into a bag.
After making sure she had everything she needed, she left for the hospital.
At the entrance of the ward, she saw Beichen Rui coming out, and couldn’t help but ask, "Where are you all going?"
Mo Han explained, "Lan Shan, you ca at the right ti. I was just about to call you!"
Lan Shan replied, "Is there sothing up?"
Mo Han pulled her to the side and said, "You need to stay here to look after Assistant Ye; we have to go back to the company."
"Go back to the company?"
"Yes, Rui has to go back to deal with sothing at the company."
Hearing this, she smiled and said, "Why go back to the company? Don’t tell
the people from the planning departnt haven’t finished work yet!"
After saying that, she saw Mo Han nod, and the corner of Lan Shan’s mouth twitched. Seriously, what ti is it now, they can at least wait until tomorrow to settle accounts.
She didn’t sympathize with the planning departnt people. She was still angry about how they treated Xinluo, so there’s no way she’d speak up for them. She was just worried that everyone hadn’t eaten dinner and was concerned for their health.
"Well, I’ve bought so food. Why don’t you eat a bit before going?" Saying this, she handed him the takeout, "It’s a bit late now, couldn’t find anything good, please make do with this!"
He took the takeout box from her hand, smiling, and said, "Thanks, I’ll eat it on the way."
Seeing that Beichen Rui and Xu Kun had already left, he quickly ntioned it to her and turned to run off.
Lan Shan smiled, carrying the remaining two takeouts and a bowl of century egg and lean at congee into the ward.
At this mont, the little one was sitting on the sofa playing with a tablet, while Ye Xinluo was asleep.
